Supplying and applying methacrylate resins using suitable equipment, including all associated works. The rate shall be inclusive of:
Surface Preparation
Removal of existing flooring to expose expansion joints (using diamond cutter).
Cleaning and preparing the site for injection.
Injection System Setup
Drilling holes and fixing injection packers.
Sealing cracks prior to injection.
Injection Process
Supplying and applying methacrylate resin (MC-Injekt GL-95 TX of MC or Willgel Swift + SS – AcryGel Poly of Willich GmbH and Co. KG, or Methacrylate Gel Supercast Acrylate 2000 of FOSROC, two-component system with swelling, flexible, waterproofing acrylate gel sealant).
Application shall be carried out using electrically operated pressure injection pumps or by manual pouring for joints of 30–50 mm depth and 150 mm width. Cleaning of pump with solvent after every injection, including charges for machinery, oil, thinner, adaptors, flexible pipes, etc. Injecting the resin into each packer, curing, and removing packers after injection. Sealing injection holes with epoxy putty or cementitious mortar.
Restoration
Making good the surface after packer removal.
Restoring the concrete surface to the satisfaction of the client or their representative.
Staging/scaffolding wherever required.
Quality & Warranty Conditions
Work shall be executed similar to the pilot work carried out at NAC2 basement.
The grout quantity will be measured based on actual consumption at site (weight of resin and hardener consumed). 20% of the total cost will be withheld as warranty for waterproofing.
