Special repairs and beautification to the Entrance Arch Near Gorimedu State Border along the NH-32 in Puducherry

Providing two legged scaffolding using 15 cm diameter blue - gum posts or casurina posts or best quality bamboo - posts of 4m over all length (3.0m height + 0.5 m projection + 0.5 into the ground) the distance between the two rows being 1.25 m and the spacing of posts with 0.5 m overlap on either side and braces to step up and providing a platform with country wood planks of 40mm thick and 1m width etc in a complete form using coir and nails 1 m run (Rate of scaffolding for a height of 3 m and lenghth of 1 m).

Exta for Providing two legged scaffolding for every additional height of 2.5 m (Rate for scaffolding for a height of 3 m and length of 1m)

Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc.complete

Finishing walls with acrylic smooth exterior paint of required shade - New work (two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre / 10 sqm

Providing and laying 63 mm mm thick factory made rubber moulded hydraulic pressed paver block made by block making machine with strong vibratory compaction and of approved size and design / shape laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of course sand ,filling the joints with fine aggregate etc. all complete.

Acid cleaning for the existing Mosaic floors , glazed tiles work and removing the stains and decays to give a glassy look etc complte (The Acid used shall be 32% concentrated hydrochloric acid after taking on the precautionary measures)

Providing and laying Polished Granite stone flooring in required design and patterns, in linear as well as curvilinear portions of the building all complete as per the architectural drawings with 18mm thick stone slab over 20mm (average) thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine aggregate) laid and joined with cement slurry and pointing with white cement slurry admixed with pigment of matching shade including rubbing, curing and polishing etc. all complete as specified and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge - Polished granite stone slab of colour black, cherry/ ruby red or equivalent.

Mirror polishing on marble work / granite work / stone work where ever required to give high gloss finish complete.

Desilting the canal by removing silt, slush and debries from the bed of the drain removing the grass , buses etc., complete in unhygenic and foul condition including disposal of the same within an average lead of 1KM without polluting the environment by manual means.

Demolishing brick work manually / by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in charge.- in cement mortar.

Demolishing cement concrete manually / by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. - Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix).

Supply of Quarry rubbish including stacking to department gauge for premeasurement and spreading required thickness.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - all work upto plith level - 1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 fine aggregate : 8 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - all work upto plith level - 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 fine aggregate : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size).

6mm cement plaster of mix 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine aggregate)

Providing and laying 60 x 60 cm grey granite slab of thickness 5cm flame finished with neat edges with 1 cm wide recessed cement pointing with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine aggregate ) laid over 10 cm thick compacted bed of fine aggregate filling well compacted by earth rammer etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (The rate is inclusive of GST @ 18%)

Providing and fixing grey granite kerb wall at road edges of sizes 170mm at top, 200mm at bottom, 400mm height at length not less than 900mm each and having one side slope / tapper at front face with rounded curvature edges at top by dressing as per drawing as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. The exposed stone surface finished should be in flamed finished and the sample should be approved by the competent authority before execution. The rate shall include the cost of materials, labour charges for cutting, dressing, laying loading and unloading, cement mortar 1:4 20mm thick for fixing at bed, cement mortar 1:2 mfor stone joints, finished surface should be free from smear of mortar etc.
