COMPREHENSIVE REPAIR / MAINT OF CERTAIN ROAD AT KHANABAL GRN UNDER GE 861 EWS

M&L for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags or mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 KG/ 10 Sqm of paving bitumen of Grade VG-10, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete (SDAC) 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) with 5.5% binder content of paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with using 8 to 10 tonne power roller and laying with mechanical paver, complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (a) Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be prepared in central computerised hot mix plant. (b) Design mix shall be got done by the contractor at his own expenses from NABL laboratory as decided by GE. (c) Contractor shall quote his rates by considereing binder contents @ 5.5% of total mix by weight, however in case of any variation in weight of binder contents on lower side as per actual mix design, the same shall be ajusted @ Rs. 60.00 Per Kg of bitumen.

M&L for repair to potholes, area not exceeding 1.0 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming and applying a tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of paving bitumen of Grade VG-10, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, binded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exceeding 30mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 2mm thick, white or golden yellow hot thermoplastic road marking paint, conforming to BS-3262 with 20% of glass beads (intermixed) applied with manually operated machine suitable for hot application at desired temperature, painting as in strips (continuous or breaking) painting lines, dashes, arrows,, letters, etc on roads or pavements and like painting, complete all as specified and directed.
