Following works are to be Carried out for the Work of Replacement of Complete Transformer Oil and Gasket of 315MVA Transformer-I alongwith associated works at 400 Sub Station Sarnath, Varanasi with all cost of Men , Materials, Misc Consumables, Crane / Hydra, Normal & Special T&Ps, Rails etc. requied for Satisfactory Completion of work, as per Techinical Specification & direction of the J.E(M) / A.E(M) as per details below :
Dismantling of all the Water & Air Pipe Lines, Pipe Supports etc. of Mulsifyre System around the 315MVA 400 / 220KV Transformer-I alongwith Shifting & Stacking of all the dismantled Items at Safe Storage Place at the Sub Station.
Shifting of 3 No. 20KL Oil Storage Tank and Empty Oil Drums from Storage Place at the Sub Station to near 315MVA 400 / 220KV Transformer-I Foundation including its Loading & Unloading with the help of Suitable Capacity Crane.
Removal of jumpers of HV / LV / IV Side of the Transformer, the scope of work involves opening of bolts & nuts and removal of Jumpers, bushing clamps etc.
Draining of T/F oil from Transformer into empty Oil Tanks / Oil Drums and Stacking them at proper place.
Arrangement of 1 No. 20 - 35 Ton Capacity Mobile Crane alongwith Crane Operator at site, with all cost of material, consumable such as Diesel, Lubricating oil etc. till the completion of gasket replacement work.
Complete Dismantling of the Accessories of the 315MVA 400 / 220KV Transformer-I including Removal of Conservator Tank, Radiators, Pipe Lines, Bushings, Turrets, OLTC drive Mechanism, Oil pumps & associated Pipe line, Flange Valves etc., then Fixing of Blanking Plates on the Radiators, Pipe Lines, Conservator Tank Turret etc. (Blanking Plate including Bolts & Nuts, as Required and not Available shall be Provided / Arranged by the Contractor) and Stacking of all the dismantled parts all proper places along with other associated works.
Lifting of Main Tank Body of the Transformer, the scope of works involves opening of nuts, bolts of Rim Gasket of main tank body, Jacking & Lifting of Top Cover, Fixing of Limiters and Pipe Stoppers between Top Cover and Winding during replacement of gaskets, then refitting the Top Cover after completion of the Replacement of gasket as per details at Sl No. 8 alongwith other associate works.
Replacement of Rim Gaskets. The scope of works involves removals of damaged Gaskets, Cleaning of Rim surface, Fabrication of Rim Gasket out of 20 mm thick Rubber Gasket of Konica / Troboze / Nu-Cork make having temperature bearing capacity around 380°C and fixing the Gaskets with adhesive at Rim surface.
Replacement of Old Gasket from different parts of the Transformers as per details below. The scope of works involves removal of Gaskets, Cleaning of surface, Fabrication of Gaskets of appropriate size of thickness 12 / 10 / 8 / 6 mm of Konica / Nu-Cork make and fixing of Gaskets at proper place with adhesive along with other associated works.

Draining out the Transformer oil from OLTC Chamber, Overhauling of Diverter switch, and then flushing with hot T/F Oil in the chamber.
Cleaning & Flushing of the Transformer winding in Main Tank with hot T/F oil Through Certified machine
Complete Erection of the Transformer. The scope of work involves Refitting of All the dismantled parts of the Transformer such as Radiator, Conservator Tank ,Bushing , Turrets, Connecting oil pipe lines, Cooling, fans, OLTC drive Mechanism, oil pumps & associated pipe lines etc. The work also involves attending the oil leakage, if any after Refilling of Transformer oil under Vacuum In the tank as per details at Sl. No.15.
Complete Evacuation of main tank of the Transformer and filling of dry air of dew point -50°C or better in vacuum upto pressure of 0.25 Kg / cm2 and the again evacuating the Transformer Tank after required time interval (approx. 12 / 24 hrs) using certified machine. The scope of work involves Measuring dew point valves of N2 after every cycle till required value is achieved.
Performing the Vacuum stand test. The scope of work involves creating the vacuum inside the Transformer up to 70 Hg mm for evacuation of moisture from core & winding and maintaining the pressure at least for 72 hrs.
Shifting of Fresh (New) Transformer oil drums from store to switch yard
Centrifuging of Oil filled in Oil Tanks, Un-interrupted till the desired BDV Value of the oil is achieved, Filling of Transformer oil into the main tank and Radiators from oil tank as per details at Sl. No. 17, then centrifuging & Circulation of the oil Transformer, un-interrupted till the desired BDV Value of the oil is achieved including recording of the all the parameters such as Temperature, Vacuum, Insulation Resistance etc. hourly. Centrifuging Machine, its Operator, all associated T&Ps etc. shall be arranged by the contractor at his on cost.
Filling of the Transformer oil into main tank and radiators from oil tanks under vacuum after performing the Vacuum stand test successfully as per details at Sl.No.14.
Jumpering of HV / IV / LV side Bushing of the Transformer. The scope of work Involving tightening of Bushing Clamps with appropriate sizes Bolts, & Nuts including replacement of Clamps, Jumpers etc. as required.
Refitting of Mulsifire System on the Transformer. The scope of work involves shifting of dismantled parts of Mulsifire system such as pipe lines, Valves, Accessories etc. to the site and connecting them properly with successful operation of the Mulsifire System.
Shifting of Empty Oil Drums from store to near 315 MVA Transformer in switch yard and filling of used oil in Transformer oil drums after shifting of drums switch yard to store.
Complete Outside Spray Painting of the above 315MVA Transformer including its Main Tank, Main & OLTC Conservator Tanks, Radiators, Headers, associated Pipe Lines, Support Structures, Marshalling Box etc. by 1 Coat of Red Oxide Primer and then Applying 2 Coats (The 2nd Coat of Paint shall be Applied at the Gap of 48 hrs. when 1st Coat of Paint is Done & Checked by concerned (S.D.O. / J.E.) of Smoke Grey Colour 1st Quality Synthetic Enamel Paint of ASIAN / BERGER / NEROLAC make with the help of Spray Painting Machine after due Rubbing of the Rusted / Scaled Surfaces with Sand Paper & Wire Brush and Cleaning & Washing of the Dust / Dirt / Oil Deposits etc. from the Surfaces.
