MAINTENANCE OF INTERNAL ELECTRIC SERVICES AND ALLIED WORK IN AOR OF MH, MDC, ECHS UNDER GE (W) JABALPUR

Taking down carefully any type of old unserviceable point wiring copper or aluminium conductor (light, fan, socket, bell or power) point complete with fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, lamp holders, sockets, fan regulators, call bell, light fittings with PVC conduit surface / concealed or wooden battens including sunken cast iron / pressed steel terminal boxes etc complete all as specified & directed . (Note: Painting work shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items.)

Taking down carefully any type of old unserviceable submain wiring with PVC conduit surface / concealed or wooden battens etc complete all as specified & directed .

M&L for sub main wiring with two runs of single core FRLSH PVC insulated, unsheathed, mutistranded copper conductor cable of size 4.0 sqmm drawn in and including rigid PVC conduit medium grade ISI marked not less than 20mm dia with its accessories, concealed type, including one run of single core FRLSH PVC insulated, unsheathed, multistranded copper conductor cable of size 4 sqmm as earth continuity and cutting chases as per standard engineering practice & making good the disturbed surfaces as per existing finish complete all as specified & directed. Notes:- (i) Finished sub main wiring with two runs of 4.0 sqmm cable & one run of 4 sqmm cable alongwith PVC conduit and its accessories shall be measured and paid as one unit length. (ii) Connections of cables with MCBs or bus bars shall be done through appropriate size brass/copper thimbles. (iii) Colour coding for wiring/ bus bar/ main connection shall be followed .

Material & Labour for point wiring with three layer PVC Insulated 1.5 Sqmm multi-strand copper conductor FRLSH cable 1100 Volts grade drawn into and concealed PVC conduits medium grade not less than 20mm( ISI marked) including all fitting and fixing accessories including 1.25 mm thick sunken pressed steel terminal boxes/Modular metal flush box duly painted with two coats of anti-corrosive paint outside and two coats of aluminium paint inside with and including 3mm thick hylam brand laminated white bakelite sheet cover for mounting switches, sockets, fan regulators fixed with CP screws with cup wahsers and PVC insulated 1.5 Sqmm multi-strand copper conductor cable as earth wire and making good the disturbed surfaces with cement sand mortar 1:3 to match with the existing surfaces complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge for One light Point controlled by one switch.
