Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells cesspits manholes pier holes etc not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and in soft /loose soil etc complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filing in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil etc complete all as specified and directed

Removal of excavated materials (soil) not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting points etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand filling under floor or in foundations including gently punned as in cushioning to cable and for foundation in floor complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Punned thickness of sand shall be measured and paid.

M&L for brick protection cover to the under ground cable (with old size sub class 'B' bricks) with width equal to length of brick laid dry and flat abutting each other with gaps between adjacent brick not exceeding 10 mm all as specified and directed.

M&L for boring of existing road / path upto 100mm for laying of GI pipe protection cover to the under ground cable and making good distrubed area / surface all as specified and directed.

S&F galvanised tube of 50 mm bore, light grade with all fitting laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

S&F galvanised tube of 80 mm bore, light grade with all fitting laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair for earthing with galvanised iron earth plate electrode 600mm x 600 mm & 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal GL) with top of earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below Ground level, connected to GI strip 25x4 mm (up to 7.5 metre) by means of GI nuts, bolts & washers , earth strip protected with & including 40 mm dia light grade GI pipe (up to 7.5 metre) all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part I, with & including PCC 1:3:6 type C1 for pit with cover of 50 mm thick RCC 1:1.5:3 type A1 reinforced with welded steel wire fabric not less than 4 Kg per Sqm, watering arrangements with 20 mm GI medium grade pipe , GI funnel with GI mesh, filling with common salt & charcoal in alternate layers, necessary excavation and earth works in any type of soil, including test point, testing & commissioning, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- 1. The insulation procedure shall be followed as per instruction of the earth electrode manufacturer. 2. GI pipe of suitable size for protection against mechanical damage of main earth strip from earth electrode to test point up to 7.5 metre to be provided. The cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. GI strip & GI protection pipe beyond 7.5 metre shall be measured & paid separately. 3. If desired earth resistance is not obtained during testing ,the earthing shall be re-done with out any extra cost.
