Notes : (1) Work will be carried out upto 4th storey of bldgs and quoted rates of items shall be deemed to include the cost of necessary formwok and scaffolding required as per site conditions. (2) The contractor shall have to get approve the work of srapping and preparation of surfaces (both internal and external) of the buildings as a stage from Engineer-in-Charge before carring out periodical services.

M&L for preparation of old decorated concrete/ plastered surfaces of walls, pillars, cornices etc by brooming down with steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts, trading oil and greasy spots,rubbing with dust free sand paper,mechanised scrapper and applying one coat of premium emulsion distemper including making good uneven surface/holes with wall care putty where ever required.complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old decorated plastered /concrete surfaces of walls, including complete removal of existing treatment & rubbing with dust free sand paper, mechanised scrapper and applying two coats of premium emulsion distemper over coat of wall care putty of 1 to 2 mm thick and one coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and laying 60 mm thick factory made charmfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade of approved colour, design & pattern as in foothpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc of required strength , thickness & size/ shape made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50 mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of interlocking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as specified and directed.

Complete removal of existing water proofing treatment of any description including under layer, taking down cement plaster any thickness and removal of debris off the premises including grubbing up of trees and preparation of concrete surfaces by scrubbing down with steel brushes and cleaning with water to remove all loose dirt/dust complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for water proofing treatment in the following sequences:- (a) Applying 1st course of bituminous primer conforming to IS -3384 @ 0.4 Kg/Sqm over the surface till the surface properly impregnated and in solvent oil primer evoporate completely. (b) Applying 2nd coat of blown 85/25 graded bitumen confirming to IS 702 @ 1.2 Kg/sqm. (c) Applying 3rd course of APP (Atactic Polypropylene) modified polymeric membrane 3 mm thick weight not less than 3.6 Kg/Sqm with 160 Grams/Sqm, non woven polyester made at centre core reinforced laid with 75 mm side overlap and 100 mm overlap. The membrane has to be laid with LPG torch and overlap sealed and finished neat complete all as specified and directed . (d) Complete treatment to be carried out by authorised applicator of waterproofing manufacturer.

M&L for applying two coats of aluminum paint over the APP membrane complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on concrete surfaces of roof finished even and fair including mixing of water proofing compound as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed. Note : Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately as supply only.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound.
