Item Breakup - A-SOR items - Extension of UP and DN Loop Lines at Kalubathan Station Yard.
Supply of basic material to construct unit Numbers 10.00 4720.00 maintenance free earth as per RDSO Specs. No RDSO/SPN/197 Ver.1.0 or latest and conforming to RDSO Drg. No. SDO / RDSO/ E&B/001 or Latest. Necessary testing certificate of UL, IEC to be produced. It consist of following: (a) Copper bonded steel electrode of 3.0 m long, 17.2 mm dia with copper bonding thickness of minimum macrons and UL listed and marked = 1 no. Inspection: RDSO
Installation of Unit Maintenance Free Earth . It Numbers 10.00 3540.00 includes ( i ) Digging the earth to the required depth. (ii) Insertion of electrode. (iii) Filling of earth enhancing compound (approx. 30 Kg) (iv) Provision of exothermic weld connections to copper Strip to the earth electrodes. (v) This also includes supply and fixing of CC cover 1.5 ft x 1.5 ft. 1 ft wall thickness 2 inch with cover 3- inch thickness. All material tools and fixtures required for weld will be arranged by contractor. Inspection: Consignee.

(Red/Black/Green) multi Metre strand copper power wire as per IS: 694:2010 or latest, 140 conductor each dia 0.30mm +/- 0.01 with insulation thickness of 1.0 mm and nominal conductor resistance of 1.91 ohms/km and test parameters as per RDSO Specn.No. IRS:S- 76/89(Amnd.3) or latest. Routing and connecting of all the equipment in the Metre equipment/relay room to SEEB with 10 sq. mm copper cable using copper lugs with stainless steel nut and bolts and fixtures. The work includes laying and routing the copper cable in PVC / conduits and fixing them on wall. The PVC/conduit pipe to be supplied by Railway.

It includes installation of all material required for fixing arrangement. Contractor will install flexible/corrugated HDPE pipe at the end of GI pipe along with any masonry work (if required) to protect the cables from sharp edges and sudden bends. Masonry work for cutting hole through wall for Job insertion of cable and re instatement of wall with supply of required masonry materials and painting/whitewashing and repairing of wall with brick, sand ,cement etc. after laying of cables as per instruction of site engineer. All masonry item to be supplied by the firm except cable.
Cutting of floor surface/ concrete surface for a depth Metre of 20 cm & width of10 cm & refilling /reconditioning/repairing the surface after laying of pipe , cable. Cutting to be done with machine in proper manner & restore the same as before.
Digging a trench to a minimum depth of 0.5 meter Metre and laying 50 mm X 6 mm bare GI tape connecting all the earth pits and and Carrying out exothermic weld connections on all the earth electrodes along with materials , tools for welding. Earth enhancement compound of approx. 10 Kg per meter also to be spread along the GI tape and refilling , dressing of trench.
Digging a trench to a depth of at least 0.5 meter and Metre run the 35 sq. mm earth conductor in protective PVC conduit pipe, procured against supply item, from Earth pit to MEEB. Routing and exothermic termination of 35 sq. mm cable on earth conductors as well as on 300 mm X 25 mm X 6 mm MEEB, which is to be fixed inside the equipment room with two 60 mm insulation studs. The 60mm insulation studs have also to be supplied. Total 235830.00
