Miscellaneous Civil works for shifting of existing Customer Service Centre from RLU Building to Telephone exchange building (Ground Floor) in the same compound of Phase-IV Mohali

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

Reinforced cement concrete work in beams, suspended floors, roofs having slope up to 15° landings, balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiral stair cases above plinth level up to floor five level excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement with 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand including manufactured sand derived from Recycled Concrete Aggregate (RCA) upto 20% : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size including Recycled Concrete Aggregate (RCA) upto 20%).

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :

Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level.

Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in:

Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Providing and fixing 18 mm thick gang saw cut, mirror polished, premoulded and prepolished, machine cut for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size,approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing to edges to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels.

Granite stone slab colour black, Cherry/Ruby red

Area of slab upto 0.50 sqm

Providing edge moulding to 18 mm thick marble stone counters, Vanities etc., including machine polishing to edge to give high gloss finish etc. complete as per design approved by Engineer-in-Charge.

Granite work

Providing and fixing stainless steel ( Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-incharge, (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.).

12 mm cement plaster of mix :

1:6 (1 cement: 6 fine sand)

15 mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix :

1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)

Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 gram/ litre, of approved brand and of required shade and colour complete to give and even shade.

Old work (one or more coats)

Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fasteners to be paid for separately) :

For fixed portion

Anodised aluminium (anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS: 1868, Minimum anodic coating of grade AC 15)

Providing and fixing 12 mm thick prelaminated particle board flat pressed three layer or graded wood particle board conforming to IS: 12823 Grade l Type ll, in panelling fixed in aluminum doors, windows shutters and partition frames with C.P. brass / stainless steel screws etc. complete as per architectural drawings and directions of engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing tiled false ceiling of specified materials of size 600 x 600 mm (Nominal) / 595 x 595 mm (Actual) in true horizontal level. Suspended on Prelude 24mm section. The tile shall be laid on 15mm wide T-section flange white (matching to tile colour) having double stroke rotary stitching on all T section i.e. the Main runner, 1200mm & 600mm Cross Tees with a web height of 38mm (all sections). The deflection loading of the system shall be 12.5 kg/sqm. The end details of the cross tee shall be made of pre hardened steel clip fixed to the ends of the cross tee to provide double locking between “cross tee to cross tee” and “cross tee to main beam”. All main beam to main beam and cross tee to cross tee connection shall have a pull out strength of more than 100kg. The T Sections shall be made of hot dipped galvanized steel 90 gsm and pre-painted steel with baked polyester paint of 0T bending capability.

INSTALLATION: To comprise main runner spaced at 1200mm securely fixed to the structural soffit using suspension system (specifications below) at 1200mm maximum. The First / Last suspension system at the end of each main runner shall not be greater than 450mm from the adjacent wall along with the first and the last main beam shall be at less than 600mm from the wall. Flush fitting 1200mm long cross tees to be interlocked between main runners at 600mm to form 1200 x 600 mm module. Cut cross tees longer than 600mm require independent support. 600 x 600mm module to be formed by fitting 600mm long flush fitting cross tees centrally between the 1200 mm cross tees. Perimeter trim to be wall angles of size 3000x19x19mm, secured to walls using screws at 450mm centre to centre maximum. All border cut tiles shall be laid, using lay-in end cap for installation to have a Microlook effect on perimeters. Installation shall be carried out as per Manufacturer recommended procedure.

SUSPENSION SYSTEM: accessories manufactured and supplied by Manufacturer consisting of M6 Anchor Fasteners with hanger hole, pre Straightened Hanger wire of dia – 2.5 mm of 1.80 m length having a tensile strength of 344-413 MPa and a minimum loading strength of 110 kgs. Additionally, adjustable hook clips made of 0.7mm thick Grade 1 C55 galvanized spring steel of dimension 100 x 20mm and 4 mm aquiline wire to be used for level adjustment during installation purpose in main runners.

(a) Fibre Glass Acoustical Suspended Ceiling System with 19 thick DuneMax Tegular Tiles of Armstrong RH 99 ceiling in Pebble White Colour . The tiles shall have smooth laminated visual with Humidity Resistance (RH) of 99%, NRC 0.70, light reflection > 85%, Fire performance of Class A as per ASTM with 20/25 Square Tegular / Microlook edge and 8mm drop in modular size of 600 x 600mm. It shall be suitable for Green Building application, with Recycled content of 85% including required cutting / making, opening for services like diffusers, grills, light fittings, fixtures, smoke detectors etc. all complete as per manufacturer's specifications and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Dismembering aluminium partitions, fixed glazing, particle board (excluding doors & windows) and false ceiling including disposal of unserviceable material and stacking of serviceable material with in 50 meters lead as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Refixing of dismembered aluminium partition, glass panes and particle board in the required new position,(excluding doors & windows) making into required shape & size as per site conditions including cost of rubber gasket,cleats, labour steel screws,etc. wherever required all complete, and as per the direction of Engineer-in Charge.

Dismantling and Refixing of aluminium door/windows in the required position includingTightening of cleats etc. replacing of pivot or aluminium butt/ friction hinges hinges or rubber gasket,cleats wherever required including steel screws etc. all complete, and as per the direction of Engineer-in Charge.

Making opening in brickwork for door of size 1 x 2.10m including setting right the edges with repair to plaster of 12 mm to 20 mm plaster 1:6( 1 cement : 6 fine sand) and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Repair to aluminum windows including changing of aluminium hinges and rubber gasket, handles etc wherever required including steel screws etc. all complete.

Rubbing and polishing of old mosaic flooring/kota stone flooring with floor grinding machine including removing malba etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning of aluminium partitions with cloth and cleansing agent like colin/ Roff etc i/c removal of stains etc all complete and as per the direction of E-in-C.

Transportation of dismantled aluminium, snap beading, cleat angle, particle board, glass and aluminium doors from Basment of BSNL telephone Exchange Sec-34, Chandigarh to Ground Floor T.E Building Phase-4, Mohali including loading and unloading all complete & as per the direction of Engineer in Charge.

Credit to work on a/c of materials received from repairs:

(c) Aluminium scrap unserviceable
