Supply & replacement of following unserviceable items of charpoy GI pipe complete all as shown in drawing and as directed. (Drg No. - FD-220)

Charpoy top made out of 12 mm thick plywood, BWR grade

Stiffner made out of 40 x 6 mm MS flat iron of 85 cm (+/- 2 cm) length with three holes of required size and including necessary screws / nuts, bolts & including spray paint with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer complete.

long rail made out from 32 mm bore GI pipe, medium grade, length as shown on drawing, both end threaded and including dismantling old long rail from charpoy.

Fixing only short rail made out from 32 mm bore GI pipe, cutting to length as shown on drawing, both ends threaded and including dismantling old short rail from charpoy Note:- Serviceable quantity of GI pipe obtained from dismantling of long rail shall be reused under this item by cutting the same to length of short rail.

Fixing only legs made out from 32 mm bore GI pipe, cutting to length as shown on drawing, one end threaded, supply and welding of 3 mm thick and 50 mm dia MS base plate at bottom of leg, 2 Nos. 25 x 3 mm flat iron made to shape of 15 mm dia clamp & welded to face of leg, one 16 gauge washer welded to bottom of lower clamp for fixing MNF set and including painting clamp & base plate with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer & dismantling old leg from charpoy Note:- Serviceable quantity of GI pipe obtained from dismantling of short rail shall be reused under this item by cutting the same to length of legs.

3 way GI elbow suitable for 32 mm bore GI pipe rails and including taking down.

6 mm thick GI check nut suitable for 32 mm bore GI pipe rails and including taking down

Wooden block at bottom of legs. made out of 2nd class hardwood.

Conversion of charpoy newar to charpoy plywood top in following steps complete all as shown in drawing (Drg No. - FD-220) and as directed :- (i) Taking down old torn nylon newar from existing GI charpoy and including removing complete. (ii) S&F of 3 Nos. stiffener made out of 40 x 6 mm MS flat iron of length 85 cm (±2 cm) by welding between both long rails of charpoy (one in the centre and other two at 6" distance from each short rails). 3 Nos. hole of 10 mm dia shall be provided on each stiffener (one hole in centre and one on both side of centre hole at a distance of 12") for fixing of plywood at top and stiffeners fit tight against the inner walls of both long rails & upper face of stiffeners & upper crest long rails remains at same level. (iii) S&F 12 mm thick, 7 layer, BWR grade plywood of size 6'6" x 3' at top of charpoy to the holes made on the MS flat iron stiffener with countersunk flat head screws / locks, nuts and bolts of suitable size. Corners of plywood shall be rounded off and suitably holed with rose bit to prevent heads of nuts / bolts from protruding out in case bolts other than flat head bolts are used. All four corners & bottoms of plywood to be chiselled / suitably sheared off to the extent to ensure housing of raised portion of elbow and check nuts, to make the plywood sit flat on rails & stiffener evenly throughout.
