Granular Sub Base (GSB) Construction of granular sub base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical specification clause 401

Wet Mix Macadam Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (pug mill), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub base/ base course on a well prepared sub base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to 100 KN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion etc as per table 400.11 and 400.12 and technical specification clause 406.

Primer Coat over Granular Base (with emulsionSS-1 Packed) Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) Packed on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate 0.85 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical specification clause 502

Tack Coat (with VG-10 bitumen @ 0.275 kg/ sqm) Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen VG-10 using tar boiler / pressure distributor at the rate of 0.275 kg. per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical specification clause 503

Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam ( with VG-10 bitumen) Providing and laying dense graded bituminous macadam with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.25 per cent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRTH specification clause No. 507 complete in all respects.

Bituminous Concrete ( with VG-30 bitumen) Providing and laying bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.50 per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 509 complete in all respects

Stress absorbing membrane Providing and laying of a stress absorbing membrane over a cracked road surface, with crack width below 6 mm after cleaning with a mechanical broom, using modified binder complying with clause 521, sprayed at the rate of 9 kg per 10 sqm and spreading 5.6 mm crushed stone aggregates @ 0.11 cum per 10 sqm with hydraulic chip spreader, sweeping the surface for uniform spread of aggregates and surface finished to conform to clause 902.

Hazard Marker sign board 300x900mm rectangular as per IRC 67-2001 with retro reflective high intensity microprismatic grade sheeting fixed over 2mm thick aluminium sheet with 25 x25 x 3mm angle iron frame supported on a mild steel angle iron post 65 x 65 x 6mm firmly fixed to ground including foundation concrete 1:2:4 of size 0.45 x 0.45 x 0.60m for vertical post complete as per technical clause 801 of MORT&H specifications.

Road stud 100 x 100 mm Providing and fixing of road stud 100 x 100 mm dia cast in aluminium, resistant to corrosive effect of salt and grit, fitted with lense reflectors, installed in concrete or asphaltic surface by drilling holes 30 mm upto a depth of 600 mm and bedded in a suitable bituminous grout or epoxy mortar, all as per BS:873 (Part 4) 1973.

Delinators (Roadway Indicators) Providing and fixing of Delinators (Roadway Indicators) not less than 800mm high above ground level. The delinator shall have a core & shell construction which shall be made of tough, high impact resistant, injection - moulded, thermoplastic outer body. The inner core shall consist of powder coated or painted mild steel of minimum thickness1.00mm, The delinator should have top retro-reflective unit consisting of white colour micro prismatic non matallic retro reflective sheeting on both sides having minimum exposed area of 125 sq.cm each side and bottom retro reflective unit consisting of red colour micro prismatic non matallic retro reflective sheeting on both sides having minimum exposed area of 35 sq.cm each side confirming to ASTM D4956 type XI standards. The delinators shall be fixed to the ground by inserting the root of the delinators upto the marked portionand by firm concrete filling as per the instructions by the Engineer-in-charge

Rumble Strips Providing and making rumble strips 15-20mm high at centre, 250mm wide placed at 1m centre to centre over freshly laid bituminous layer by using close graded premix surfacing material type B at approved locations to control speed and marked with 100mm wide white strips of thermoplastic road marking paint. The close graded premix surfacing material type B shall conform to technical clause 512 and thermoplastic road marking paint shall conform to technical clause 803 of MORT&H specifications

Markings of centre line, Zebra lines with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint material conforming to MORT&H clause 803.4.2 and marking complete as per clause 803 of MORT&H specifications 2004 (upto date revision)
