Analysis, Design and detailed structural drawings for 01 No box type culvert 32 m long including retaining wall as per sketch drawings available with GE/Accepting Officer. Design has to be done through standard software of STAAD Pro V8i/STAAD Foundation Advance using 3D space model, using RCC M30 grade concrete considering actual SBC as per soil investigation report carried out through approved consultant (as approved by GE) and cost of the same is included in this item. Silent requirements are as given below :- (a) Soil investigation shall be carried out by Contractor through approved consultant and further same shall be vetted by any IITs/NITs, vetted copy of soil investigation shall be submitted to Accepting Officer through GE for approval.
Surface dressing n exc 15 cm deep and getting out in soft /loose soil complete all as specified and directed.
Bringing approved earth (as approved by Garrison Engineer) from sources outside defence land including all cost such as royalty if any, transportation, taxes, etc. for area filling / area development including raising of original ground level by approved earth and including spreading in layers not exc 30cm thick each layer ,watering , compaction with 8 tonne to 12 tonne power roller and finished. Notes:- (i) Earth required for the item, shall be supplied by contractor, from out side MOD land as approved by GE, of any lead, at his own arrangement. (ii) All cost of procurement of earth including cost of transportation, compaction, royalties, tax etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) With reference to clause 3.6 of MES part-II on serial page No-21 it is clarified that measurement of the above item shall be of finished embankment of filled earth after consolidation /compaction and 5% deduction shall be made from measured and calculated volume to allow for increase in bulk. (iv) Total quantity /partial quantity of earth may not be available in Lekhapani Area. The contractor has to bring the earth from out side area and it is advised to quote the rate considering availability of soil and its lead involved.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with power roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne complete all specified and directed
Material & labour for Laying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) grading as per Grade V as specified Table 400-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, (fifth revision), in a single layer over compacted subgrade with natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof as per the grading required The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and leveling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works (fifth revision).
Material & labour for Laying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) laid in two layers of 75mm each grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works (fifth revision) manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works (fifth revision) complete all as specified and as directed.
Material & Labour for preparation of unsurfaced Water Bound Macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen of VG-10 grade at 10kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete using hot mix plant and self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher, 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content using paving bitumen of VG-30 grade by weight of mix, rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note: If actual design mix comes less than 5.5% binder content, then the rate of recovery of bitumen shall be as per rate in purchase voucher per Kg for the purpose of adjustment. However, no adjustment shall be made if the binder content is more than 5.5%.
Supply & Fix PVC (SWR) pipes 160 mm dia single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joint, laid in trenches or in floors complete all as specified and directed.
Material & labour for Repair to pot holes of depth exceeding 30mm and not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with cationic bitumen emulsion RS-1 grade at the rate of 3 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premix semi dense bituminous concrete using hot mix plant and self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher using graded crushed stone aggregate premixed with binder (paving bitumen VG -30 grade) @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.
