Design, Fabrication, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Pit type computerized weigh bridge 20 MT capacity having platform size of 9m x 3m. The weighbridge structure should be robust and fabricated of steel of600, 300 mm ISMB girder for main beams, cross beams, transverse beams. The structure shall be suitably painted with two coats of anti-corrosion paint. The entire structure shall be mounted on six nos. load cells which will be anchored and grouted on six concrete pedestals. (Civil Work not included in this Job) Platform Material for steel construction confirming to IS 2062 as amended on date. Fabrication & Construction conforming to IS 800. Providing and fitting of Chequered/Antiskid MS Deck Plate of thickness not less than 12 mm as per IS 2062 with up-to-date amendment. All the steel work has to be painted with two coats of anti-corrosive and two coats of finished paint after preparation of surface to be applied for protection against rust. Nuts and bolts, fasteners to be used should be high tensile strength only. Job also includes Cost of stamping by Legal Metrology Department (J&K) and charges for inspection by third party (RITES, CEIL or any other equivalent agency). The sealing and stamping of load cells as well as that of the total weighing system shall conform to the requirements laid down under “Indian Weights & Measures Act, 1976”. The job includes providing and fitting of 06 no. Load cells (Stainless Steel Digital Compression type load cell each having 20 MT Capacity or above with resolution of 5 kg, Operating temperature range -20 degree Centigrade to 65 degrees centigrade with safe overload of 150%. Load cells shall be hermetically sealed and have IP68 protection class. Test certificate in conformation of the above class by a reputed Test House to be provided. Weighbridge readings shall not differ by more than one resolution value, when the vehicle is placed on different locations on the weighbridge.
