Taking down cement or cement lime plaster, of any description on brick or stone walls etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge and as specified. Notes :- 1.The rates relate to walls, partitions, ceilings, etc, and include for all necessary lowering, etc., removal of rubbish off the premises, removal and depositing serviceable materials where directed and leaving the work clear of any plastering. 2.The rates for taking down plastering are for any thickness.

Demolition cement concrete (unreinforcement) in ground floor and paving n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) & removal complete all rubbish materials as directed by Engr-in-Charge and all as specified. Notes for Item No 2 to 6 :- The rates for demolition and dismantling include: (a) Breaking up and taking up or down in case of demolition, as defined. (b) Carefully taking up or down and removing without damage, in case of dismantling, as defined. (c) Separation of serviceable materials from the unserviceable; stacking the serviceable materials within 100m and disposal of unserviceable material, debris and rubbish to a distance n exc 100m as directed by the Engr-in-charge. The decision of the Engr-in-charge as to which materials are serviceable or otherwise shall be final and binding.

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) in landing slab ,chullah hoods ,manhole covers , Roofs ,Floors, beams, stair case, landing, chajja and similar suspended work.

Dismantling floor, earth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises.

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry built in cement mortar incl all quoins, arches, pillars & precast concrete masonry etc complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition of existing lime concrete/PCC padding, roof treatment of any thickness laid over RCC roof/Chajjas etc removing complete layer of bitumen under concrete/PCC padding, cleaning and washing of roof with water to remove dust etc as preparation to receive treatment all as directed and specified.

Taking down chowkats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters frome the frames) n exc 1.5 sqm but each complete all as specified & directed.

Taking down chowkats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters frome the frames) exc 1.5 sqm but n exc 4 sqm each complete all as specified & directed.

Taking down shutters of any description exc 2 sqm each complete all as specified & directed .

Resecuring or easing & adjusting of shutter exc 1 sq. m and n exc 2 sq. m each 'Notes Applicable to Item No 12,13,14 (1) The rate includes taking down, easing and adjusting and also refixing builders hardware as required including renewal of unserviceable screws, etc. (2)The rates for ‘Refixing in other openings’ include for cutting to size and fitting. (3) The rates include for labour in fixing or taking down and refixing, together with all accessory materials such as nails, screws, wedges, plugs, glue, putty, etc. and also for plugging up old screw holes, etc., and for painting one coat on edges of shutters of doors, windows, etc. eased or refitted.

Taking down and refixing existing steel window shutter in same opening after replacement of broken projecting type hinges with box type hinges incl. necessary welding complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Cutting holes into stone wall built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar for inserting hold fast and making good dismental portion in CM (1:3) or cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 exc half brick but n exc one brick as required all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes (a) ‘Making good’ includes for making good with serviceable old/new bricks/stone to match the adjoining work. (b) In case the brickwork is dismantle as alternative to cutting at his option. In that case he will make good with serviceable old/new brick to match with adjoining work. The rate shall include the above element.

Taking out joints/pointing to random rubble or polygonal rubble uncoursed or brought up to courses masonry built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar all as directed. Notes:- (a) The rates for raking out joints in old work and pointing apply to both plain (horizontal, vertical or inclined) and circular surfaces, in any width of joint. (b)The rates include for Taking or cutting out joints and decayed mortar etc, not less than 12mm deep, washing the joints, removing rubbish off the premises, and keeping the surface to be pointed wet for 2 days prior to re-pointing.

M&L for 50mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1(using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in flooring/foot path finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 40 mm thick cement concrete type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed aggregate laid in panels using glass dividing strips , finished even and smooth without using extra cement.

M&L for 25mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 12.5mm graded aggregate) as in levelling coarse of floors and roof.

S&F 38 mm thick glass dividing strips , 3 mm thick and inserted in position to conform to design

M&L for 75 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 Type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone agg ) as in sub base of roof/floor/pavings/path etc

M&L for Providing cement concrete type B-0, 1:2:4 (using 12.50 graded stone aggregate) as in padding and levelling course on roof and floor complete all as specified & directed.

M&L Cement cocnrete type C-1 1:3:6 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in plinth protection 75mm thick and surface to be finished even and smooth without using extra cement.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded aggregate as in cills, coping steps, tank staging, sesmic and other similar courses, lacing courses parapet and railing upto 60cm ht kneeler kerb and alike including weathering, slightly rounded or chemfered angle and throating as directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 (Using 40mm stone aggregate) as in foundation concrete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 1:5:10 type E2 for sunken filling ,foundations, filling and mass-concrete.

M&L for providing precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 as in landing, cover slabs (for manholes etc) Chajjas, water troughs, managers, shelves and SImilar article with plain faces.

M&L plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B0 in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on stone masonry surfaces or on other than fair faces of brick masonry first layer 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 and second layer 5mm thick in CM 1:4 mixed with WPC 3% by wt of cement and finished even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Supply only WPC shall be measured and paid separately under respective item.

Supply only liquid water profing compound as per IS-2645.

M&L for Washed stone grit plaster on exterior walls in two layers, under layer 12mm cement plaster 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand ) furrowing the under layer with scratching tool, applying cement slurry on the under layer @ 3 Kg of cement persqm, top layer 15mm cement plaster 1:1/2:2 (1 cement: 1/2 coarse sand : 2 stone chipping 10mm nominal size) in panels with groove all around as per approved pattern including scrubbing and washing, the top layer with brushes and water to expose the stone chippings .complete all as specified

M&L for machine cut Kota stone slab flooring 20 to 25mm thick as in floor, treads etc .laid over 20 mm screed bed or bedding layer in CM 1:3 set and jointed in neat cement slurry and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing by machine complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for machine cut Kota stone 15-20 mm thick as in riser of steps, skirting, dado and pillar set over 10 mm rendering in CM 1:3 and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigments to match the shade including rubbing and polishing complete all as specified by Engr-in-Charge. 'Notes Applicable to Item No 42 & 43 (1) The rates of kota stone flooring includes for all cutting and waste including machine cutting to make it square or rectangular. (2) The rate includes for cutting and polishing by machine

M&L for 20-25 mm thick Granite(of any type) work (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window- cills,cooking platforms and like in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite laid over 15 mm screed bed or bedding layer in CM 1:3 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for machine cut 18 to 20mm thick Kota stone as in cooking platform and similar works laid over & including screed bed or bedding layer of 15mm thick in CM 1:6 and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and mirror polishing including ball nosing of exposed edges complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Kota stone shall be brought at site minimum size of 0.90m x 0.60 m.

M & L for machine cut Kota stone slab 25mm thick as in shelves & similar works in single piece not exc. 1.50m in length, both side polished and front edge to be half moulded complete, fixed & jointed with grey cement set and pointed in cement mortar 1:4 including rubbing and mirror polishing (top side only and bottom side shall be self finished only), including cutting chases as required and making good to filling as original in cement mortar 1:4 for inserting stone slab shelves in stone/brick walls complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 18 to 19mm thick exterior grade prelaminated particle board (Prelaminated on one side) with decorative choice lamination and other side balancing white lamination fixed with screws to timber frame work/shutters complete all as specified. .

S&F factory made 30mm thick flush shutter, solid core construction, with block board core and plywood face panels, both face covered with decorative face veneer with lipping/frame to match complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for factory made 2nd class glazed and skelton door shutter made out of stiles & rails of 35mm thick 2nd class hard wood, klin seasoned and chemically pressure treated & open reabted and prepared to receive glass/gauge etc (without sash bars), edges of framing plain,chamfered of rounded, fitted with and mitred beads for securing glass etc compelte, the SIze of members of shutter shall be as per IS-1003. The shutter shall be fitted to the chowkhats as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- Wire Gauge/glazing to be measured and paid separately.

The SIze of rail & steel as per IS : 1003 (Part I) kiln seasoned & chemically pressure treated.

S&F factory made 30mm thick flush shutter, solid core construction, with block board core and plywood face panels, commercial type on both side complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Factory Made Solid PVC Moulded Door Shutters 28 to 30 mm thick (stiles), with 2,4 or 6 raised panel design with 2mm thick Moulded PVC Sheet on the front Face & 2mm Plan colour PVC sheet on back face, supplying & fixing in frame at site as per specification & drawing.

Note: (i) Coved fillets in PCC(1:2:4) type B-0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate, of radius 75mm shall be provided at the junction of roof and parapet wall/mumty/chimney/other vertical surfaces and thereafter surface painted with hot paving bitumen of Grade 30/40 confirming to IS-73, [email protected] Kg/sqm over a coat of bituminous primer confirming to IS-3384 applied @ 0.40 Kg/sqm. (v) Exposed surfaces of APP membrane shall be applied with one coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 150 ml/sqm. (vi) Above aspects are deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Treatement for sunken portion is 'M & L for water proofing treatment in sunken floors as described hereunder:- (i) Demolition of lean concrete and other type of filling in sunken portion & cleaned the sunken portion incl vertical wall surface complete as directed. (ii) Coved fillet in PCC (1:2:4) type B0 of radius 75 mm shall be provided at the junctions of RCC slab and adjoining walls. (iii) Sunken floor and sides upto finished floor level shall be plastered with 15mm thick cement plaster in mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement. (iv) Preaparing plastered surfaces and providing APP polymeric water proofing membrane, minimum 3mm thick and weighing not less than 3.0 Kg/sqm of make super thermolay manufactured by STP Ltd or ‘Hyper Plas’ (Polyster) manufactured by M/S IWL Ltd or ‘Shaliplas’ (polyester) manufactured by M/S Capital Steels and chemicals Pvt Ltd as approved by GE, black finish reinforced with non-woven polyester matt, with a thermo fusable finish laid over compatible bitumen primer (Bitumen primer shall be TANK MASTIC of M/S STP Ltd or ‘EMW FLATE’ of M/S Texas India Ltd} at the rate of 0.40 Ltr/sqm torching overlaps with a propane or a butane gas torch, with a overlap of 75mm at the sides and 100mm at the ends and sealing including applying a coat of cold emulsion bituminous primer all as per manufacturer’s instructions, complete all as specified and as directed.(v)The sunken portion shall be filled with lean cement concrete (1:5:10), type E2 using 40 mm brick aggregate after carrying out satisfactory testing of CI pipes / joints and slabs / walls by filling water for 72 hours. The sunken portion of Nahani / floor trap and pipe joints shall be embedded in PCC (1:3:6) blocks. Note: (i) Polymeric membrane shall be laid in sunken floor and on sides upto finished floor level (ii) The waterproofing treatment shall be got carried out by the manufacturer or their authorized applicators. (iii) Supply only water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately). (iv)Testing of water tightness by pounding for 72 hours & rectify defects if any till total elimination of defect.before filling the PCC in the sunken floor (v) In case any defect is noticed the portion shall be grouted with cement slurry mixed with suitable chemical & tested again. The process of grouting and testing shall be repeated till leakage / seepage / dampness is eliminated (vi) Horizontal flat area to be measered. (vii) Above aspects are deemed to be included in quoted rate.
