Rehabilitation and retrofitting work at Pier and Pier Cap at P4 Location of Six Mile Fly-over under Assam PWD (Roads)

Providing and erecting 2.00 metre high temporary barricading at site; each panel of size 2.50mx2.00m made of 40x40x6mm angle iron or 50x50x3mm hollow MS tube posts/horizontal members/bracings covered with 1.63mm thick MS sheet. The sheet shall be fixed with 30x5mm MS flat by suitable welding/riveting. The panels shall be made so that gap of 50cm above the ground is available making overall height as 2.5m. MS channel ISLC 75 @ 5.70 kg/m, 50cm long shall be provided at the bottom having oval shaped holes of size 50x25mm at both ends with 50cm long MS angle 40x40x6mm bracing. Suitable arrangement shall be made to fix the barricading to avoid from overturning by providing 250mm long expansion fasteners at both ends. The work shall be executed as per drawing/direction of Engineer-in-Charge which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously i/c shifting of barricading from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipments and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of Engineerin-Charge.

Excavation for Structures ( Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification , including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing sides and bottom and backfilling with approved material. Ordinary Soil Manual Means (i)Without Dewatering Upto 3m Depth

Dismantling of Structures : Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, wood work, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material,disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lift and lead as per clause 202 of MoRTH specifications of Road and Bridge Works including all accessories, complete as per direction of Engineer in charge. ii .By Manual means (c) Prestressed / Reinforced cement concrete of grade M-20 & above.

Providing and inserting nipples with approved fixing compound after drilling holes for grouting as per Technical specifications including subsequent cutting/removal and sealing of the hole as necessary of nipples after completion of grouting with Cement/Epoxy.

Sealing of crack / porous concrete with Epoxy Grout by injection through nipples complete as per clause 2803.1.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineerin-charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding

Chipping of deteriorated concrete and removal of all loose & friable materials and fully exposing rusted reinforcement followed by proper cleaning and removing of rusts and other foreign materials using sand blasting/ emery cloths/ wire brush etc. including formwork as directed and specified by the department complete

Concreting of the structure with free flow nonshrink cementitious microconcrete with Renderoc RG of Fosroc or equivalent after proper mixing with cleanwater including formwork followed by proper curing for 28 days as per manufacturer's specifications complete and as directed by the Department.

Provinding and laying in position ready mixed design mix M-45 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work,using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site and excluding reinforcement, in recommended proportions as per IS:9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete , improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-Incharge. The mix design as per particular specifications shall be got approved by engineer-Incharge before execution of the item. The rate shall include cost of all specified materials and operations at all levels and heights but excluding the cost of shuttering reinforcement which shall be paid under relevant item.

Patching in depression of concrete surface wherever necessary by laying epoxy putty , Nitocote VF of Fosroc Chemicals or equivalent @ 1 Lit per sqm after proper surface preparation and proper scraping of concrete protrusion as specified and directed by the department complete including formwork .

Applying Nitowrap 410 saturant Fosroc Chemicals or equivalent with wet film thickness @ 250 microns (0.27Lit per sqm) over a coat of saturant epoxy primer Nitowrap 30 of Fosroc Chemicals or equivalent @ 0.11Lit per sqm with brush followed by fixing carbon fibre composite system Nitowrap EP (CF) of Fosroc Chemicals or equivalent by pressing on the saturant and impregnate the same by applying a final coat of Nitowrap 410 saturant Fosroc Chemicals or equivalent as specified and directed by the department complete including formwork.

Applying two coats of UV resistant coating Nitowrap 512 of Fosroc Chemicals or equivalent over fibre system having wet film thickness of 100 micron @ 0.11Lit per sqm as specified and directed by the department complete including formwork.

Supplying and applying Epoxy based bonding agent Nitobond EP of Fosroc Chemicals or Masterbrace 1414 of BASF or equivalent @ 0.50 Lit pe sqm after totally saturating the cleaned concrete surface with clean water for proper bonding of old and new concrete including formwork as specified and directed by the department complete.

Supplying and fixing of rebaring chemicals Fosroc Lokfix E77 pure Epoxy chemical anchor grout or equivalent for various diameter of reinforcement bar at provided embedment depth as per manufracturer specification and instructions for use in concrete applications as directed by engineer in charge. Anchorage length 300mm for 12 mm bar and 750mm for 32mm bar.a. For 12 mm dia re-bar at 180mm depth

Supplying and fixing of rebaring chemicals Fosroc Lokfix E77 pure Epoxy chemical anchor grout or equivalent for various diameter of reinforcement bar at provided embedment depth as per manufracturer specification and instructions for use in concrete applications as directed by engineer in charge. Anchorage length 300mm for 12 mm bar and 750mm for 32mm bar.b. for 32mm dia re-bar fastners.

Supplying, fitting and placing TMT IS:1786 (Fe 500) bar reinforcement in sub-structure complete as per drawing and technical specifications Super ductile (SD) TMT Reinforcement bar of Fe 500 N/ Sqmm

Non-destuctive testing with Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Meter with data storage facility for detection of cracks, voids and other imperfections in Reinforced concrete structures and furnishing the findings thereof in proper comprehensible format , complete as directed by the department.

Non Destructive testing with Rebound Hammer for defection of damaged zone in Reinforceed concrete structure and furnishing the findings in proper comprehensable format.
