A/R and M/O Buildings for providing and fixing of anchor fastener and other miscellaneous allied work at Sonipat Campus of IIT Delhi during the year 2024-2025.(Phase-I)

Amount

1)STONE WORK DRY CLADDING

1.1) Providing and fixing stainless steel cramps of required size and shape for anchoring stone wall lining to the backing or securing adjacent stones in stone wall lining in cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand), including making the necessary chases in stone and holes in walls wherever required.

1.2) Providing and fixing copper pins 7.5 cm long 6 mm diameter for securing adjacent stones in stone wall lining in cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand), including making the necessary chases.

1.3) Extra for stone work for wall lining on exterior walls of height more than 10 m from ground level for every additional height of 3 m or part there of.

1.4) Providing and fixing dry cladding upto 10 metre heights with 30mm thick gang saw cut stone with machine cut edges of uniform colour and size upto 1mx1m, fixed to structural steel frame work and/ or with the help of cramps, pins etc. and sealing the joints with approved weather sealant as per Architectural drawing and direction of Engineer-in-charge. (The steel frame work, stainless steel cramps and pins etc. shall be paid for separately).

1.4.1) White sand stone - 30mm thick gang saw cut stone

1.5) Providing and fixing adjustable stainless steel cramps of approved quality, required shape and size, adjustable with stainless steel nuts, bolts and washer (total weight not less than 260 gms), for dry stone cladding fixed on frame work at suitable location, including making necessary recesses in stone slab, drilling required holes etc complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

2) FINISHING

2.1) Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

2.2) Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

2.3) Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of required shade

2.3.1) Old work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/ 10 sqm) over existing cement paint surface

3) REPAIRS TO BUILDING

3.1) Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

3.1.1) With cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 fine sand)

3.2) Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer in-charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding Note: - This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done.

4)DISMANTLING AND DEMOLISHING

4.1) Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

4.2) Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.

5) ALUMINIUM WORK

5.1) Filling the gap in between aluminium frame & adjacent RCC/ Brick/ Stonework by providing weather silicon sealant over backer rod of approved quality as per architectural drawings and direction of Engineer-in-charge complete.

5.1.1) Upto 5mm depth and 5 mm width

6) Providing and applying antifungal wash treatment using 3% solution of sodium pentachlorophenate, of reputed brand and manufacturer, on cleaned sand stone surface at desired locations as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (The rate is inclusive of all materials & labours involved except scaffolding).

7) NON-SCHEDULE ITEMS

7.1) Providing and fixing of ETA approved counter sunk head SS 304 grade anchor fastener in stone cladding suitable for fastening both on concrete / masonry/ aerated block. Anchor fastener comprising of 10 mm diameter polyamide PA 6 grade sleeve , including drilling /cleaning of holes in frame/ concrete/ masonry/aerated blocks etc. Fixing of fastener will be carried out as per manufacturers methodology and as per direction of Engineer in charge (Note:- Before actual start of work the agency to submit design report which will be approved by IIT Delhi.) ( Make :- Hilti HRD-CR/ Mungo / Canon / Fisher OR Equivalent will be approved by IIT Delhi.

7.1.1) Anchor Fastener 10 x 200 mm (SS 304 grade)

7.1.2) Anchor Fastener 10 x 250 mm (SS 304 grade)
