Taking out the vacuum circuit breaker of 11KV Voltage rating 400/630/800/1250 Amp, 3 phase, 50Hz from 11KV HT panel board for overhauling of VCB, carrying out visual check of panel, inspect, clean and tightening of bolts of busbar chamber, cleaning and inspecting CT & PT's, checking cable tightness, control circuit and servicing of VCB for the following:-

Drawout mechanism

Driving mechanism

Cleaning of insulated parts

Functional testing of VCB

Measuring of IR values and contact resistance, checking of inner lock within panel board, checking of indicating lamps and zero error of all accessories, cleaning dusting, physically checking for any damages tightening of bolts, nuts, greasing and lubricating by SIEMENS grease of all moving parts, lubricating spring charge mechanism by suitable oil, checking and tightening of control wiring for its normal functioning, applying petroleum jelly for top and bottom arm, female contacts and jaw contacts, checking of ON/OFF mechanism mechanically by removing control plug under test condition and by operating the breaker tripping coil closing coil manually.

Note: Replaceable parts will be measured and paid separately under supply only items and the labour element for taking down and fixing is be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Overhauling should be done through authorized OEM or channel partner of OEM or State Government Approved License holder. (VCBs of make Schneider Electric -25 No, Siemens - 19 No, Crompton Greaves - 32 No, Areva - 16 No, Kirloskar - 13 No and Alstom - 15 Nos)

Overhauling shall be done through authorized OEM or Channel Partner of OEM or State Government Approved License holder after obtaining prior approval. Make of VCB: Schneider Electric -25 No, Siemens - 19 No, Crompton Greaves - 32 No, Areva - 16 No, Kirloskar - 13 No and Alstom - 15 No

Testing and calibration of 11KV HT VCB panel protection relays over current/ earth fault, tripping and closing circuits by primary and secondary injection method for their optimal tripping and closing performance including resetting of the time whenever required including submission of test report in duplicate complete all as directed.

Note: Measuring instrument required for calibration and testing shall be arranged by the contractor without extra cost. Calibration should be done by OEM/State Electricity Board licensed service engineer.

Supply only LED indicating lamps of red/yellow/ blue/green /amber with bulbs complete all as specified. Make : AE/IMP/MECO/L&T/SIEMENS/C&S

Supply only analog type ammeter of 0 to 400 Amp capacity, square type of size 96x96mm with CTs of suitable ratio all as specified. Make : L&T/AE/MECO/SIEMENS/RISHABH/CONZERV/ ENERCON

Supply only TNC (Trip neutral close) switch for HT VCB all as specified.

Supply only panel type strip heater 80W capacity all as specified.

Supply only 11KV, 400 Amps HT VCB Vacuum Interrupter Bottles complete all as specified.

Supply only 11KV, 630 Amps HT VCB Vacuum Interrupter Bottles complete all as specified.

Supply only 11KV, 800 Amps HT VCB Vacuum Interrupter Bottles complete all as specified.

Supply only 11KV HT VCB panel body insulators of existing size complete all as specified.

Supply only 110Volts DC shunt trip coil complete all as specified.

S&F in repairs of auxiliary power supply system of 110 Volts for protection of VCB panel including synthetic rubber chamber, testing and commissioning complete by using a set of 55 No maintenance free lead acid batteries of 2 volts 80AH capacity each complete all as specified and directed. Make of Battery : AMARARAJA/EXIDE

Note: Quoted rate shall deemed include cost of 55 No battery bank for each auxiliary power supply system

M&L, overhauling of battery charger of battery banks, 110V DC control supply including checking and repair of float mechanism, booster mechanism, replacement of burnt PCBs, rectifiers, contacts (of any type and rating), control wiring with existing rating of copper cable, replacement of lugs, indicators, switches etc., including testing the battery charger after repair complete all as directed.

Taking out defective FRP bushing 11KV from the panel and refixing the same after reconditioning with FRP coating upto insulation level complete all as directed

Taking out unserviceable FRP bushing 11KV from the panel, supply and fix new FRP bushing complete all as directed

Disconnecting electric supply to HT VCB, removing the spring charge gear, supply and fix new spring charge gear and reconnecting to power supply including testing complete all as directed. Make: Crompton Greaves or equivalent as approved by GE

S&F in repairs, ISI marked synthetic rubber mat of size 1m x 2m, 2.5mm thick to resist 11000 volts grade voltage complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs, trip circuit supervision relay operated through 110Volts DC control supply complete all as specified and directed. Make : L&T CAT No TCS01NXA000 Model No TCS01nX or techno commercially equivalent model in ABB/GE/C&S/ Schneider/Siemens.

S&F in repairs, 3 Phase over current with earth fault protection relay with High Set suitable for control supply of 110 Volt DC (relay volage shall be as per site requirement) complete all as specified and directed. Make : L&T Model No MC61 C or techno commercially equivalent model in ABB/GE/C&S/ Schneider/Siemens.

Complete removal of existing paint from HT 4 pole structure including all connected mild steel structures and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer, marking the pole in white capital letters including painting the pole with black bituminous paint from ground level to a height of 1.5 metre and marking two No alternative yellow strips of 300mm high on black painted portion of the pole with yellow synthetic enamel paint at a height of 0.3 metre and 0.9 metre from ground level complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 22 above but for HT 2 pole structure.

Complete removal of existing paint from HT mild steel electric pole 11metre long and connected cross arms, pipe etc., and applying painting two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including marking the pole in white synthetic enamel paint with capital letters and painting the pole with black bituminous paint from ground level to a height of 1.50metre and fixing with two No yellow radium strips of 100mm high at a height of 1.20metre and 1.40metre from ground level complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out the sample of transformer oil from distribution transformer and conducting the Dielectric Strength(BDV) test, Sludge and Acidity test from Power Grid Lab and submit the report complete all as directed.

Supply, install, test and commissioning of Switch Air Break gang operated, triple pole, rocking type, mechanically operated, mounted on six insulators (2 No insulator in each phase) with aluminium jumpers of suitable size etc., and mild steel galvanized steel frame with operating mechanism worked from ground level including operating rod for current rating upto 200Amps, 11000 Volts complete with locking arrangement, mild steel clamps, bolts, nuts and washers etc., complete including taking down unserviceable switch air break GOD after disconnecting electrical connections all as specified and directed.

Straightening of HT over head line consisting of 3 ACSR conductor of any size by disconnecting and removing from insulators including providing necessary binding wire and jumpering after proper stringing all as directed. Note: Length of each span of line varies between 30 to 45metres

S&F in repairs, lightening arrestor, expulsion type complete with all fittings suitable for 11KV, transmission class with discharging capacity of 65KiloAmps, conforming to IS 3070 including testing on 2pole/4 pole structure complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs, Disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous 145mm high and 255mm dia ball and socket type, white, brown or green 'single disc' assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductors, working pressure 11000 volts complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs, Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator 150mm height, 150mm dia for 11000 volts grade including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two galvanized iron washers and one galvanized iron nut complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L, Post top, porcelain/polymeric, vitreous brown insulator suitable for 11000 volts grade including galvanized mild steel clamps, bolts, nuts and washers complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only, female contact suitable for 11KV, 200Amp horizontally operated gang operated device complete all as directed.

Supply only, moving male contact suitable for 11KV, 200Amp horizontally operated gang operated device complete all as directed.

Disconnecting and taking out defective 11KV Air Break Switch assembly from HT 2 pole/4 pole structures, scrubbing and cleaning dust/carbon deposits from all GI/copper moving and fixed parts with sand papers/clothes and greasing/lubricating the moving/ fixed linkage, necessary welding to mild steel structure/GI tubings if required, refixing the same in position with new connecting jumpers, bolts, nuts, washers of suitable size, replacement of defective moving and fixed contacts for proper operation of GOD, including testing and commissioning etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Note: Replacement of unserviceable spare parts such as fixed and moving contacts and insulators will be measured and paid for separately.

The cost of any other spare parts which are not covered in Note No 34.01 above but are required to make the GOD serviceable condition is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M&L in repairs, Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected to GI strip 25x4mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, washers and check nuts made out of galvanized iron or steel all as shown on Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.

Note 1: The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber, 50mm thick RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate cover slab reinforced with 6 Nos of 8mm dia TMT bars both ways, funnel with watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade, GI protection pipe light grade 40mm dia and wire mesh complete in addition to item No. 1(a) to (e) of preamble (Notes) under sub-heading earthing, specified on Sl Page No. 422 of SSR Part-II.

Note 2: Earthing lead beyond 7.5m will be measured and paid separately.

S&F GI Earth strip 25 x 4mm as in earth continuity conductor fixed to wall on battens or buried on ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing complete all as specified and directed.
