Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bidder should not upload his rate separately in e-portal other than in the Item wise bid commercial offer, else the bids will be rejected

The Bid prepared by the Bidder and all correspondence and documents relating to the bid, exchanged by the Bidder and the Owner shall be written in English language only

Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited takes no responsibility for delay, due to any cyber or other computer related problems or postal delay. Further, MESCOM reserves the right to reject any or all the Bids without assigning reasons thereof and shall bear no liability whatsoever consequent upon such a decision.

Documents uploaded in support of Qualifying Requirements shall be Original / Notarized only.

All the terms and conditions are as per the tender documents uploaded.

Notwithstanding anything stated above, MESCOM reserves the right to assess the capacity of the bidder to perform contract, should the circumstances warrant such an assessment in the overall interest of MESCOM.
