Removing excavated material (any type) and depositing it outside Ministry of Defence Land. Note for 19.001 (i) Before quoting the tender, the bidders are advised to ascertain the distance outside MD and, at which the excavated material/ debris are to be disposed off. Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of sandwich type (3L+N+PE) busbar trunking system complete with two runs of 50 mm X 6 mm aluminium earthing strip and accessories all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge. Make: L & T, Schneider, Siemens The BBT shall conform to the following technical specifications: [A] GENERAL [i] The busbar trunking system (BTS), both feeder and plug-in, shall be of sandwich construction. All components and fittings (straight length, elbow, tee, flanged end, cable tap-off box and circuit breaker etc.) shall conform to IEC 61439-6:2012 or UL 857 and shall be procured from the OEM of BTS. The BTS shall have IP 65 protection with canopy for outdoor application and IP 54 protection for indoor application in accordance with IEC 60529: 1989. [ii] The rated operation voltage of BTS shall not be less than 1 kV. The neutral conductor shall have the same cross-sectional area as the phase conductor and the earth busbar shall be provided on both sides of the housing. [B] CERTIFICATE [i] The busbar , of full range and each rating, shall pass full type tests specified in IEC 61439-6-2012. The certificate shall be issued by an international independent testing authority, e.g. ASTA. KEMA. UL and ERDA etc. [ii] A product safety mark, e.g. KEMA-KEUR, ASTA DIAMOND, UL and ERDA, etc. shall be on the product offering a visual assurance of full product safety testing, factory inspection and ongoing surveillance under independent authority.
[iii] The BTS shall have UBC seismic zone 5 compliance tested with busduct and plug-in box assembly by an internationally recognized earthquake research body, e.g. Asian Pacific Network of Centres for Earthquake Engineering Research (ANCER) as per IEEE 693- 2018. The OEM shall also furnish a certificate to confirm that the BTS assembly is capable of withstanding the additional vibration in shaft owing to air movements. [C] SHORT-CIRCUIT RATINGS & TESTS [i] The entire BTS (busduct and plug-in box assembly) shall be capable of withstanding the short-circuit of electrical installation without undergoing any electrical, mechanical or thermal stress under fault condition at a service voltage of 1 kV at 50 Hz frequency. The minimum rated insulation voltage shall be 1 kV. [ii] The minimum certified short-circuit withstand capacity for 800 A rating shall be 40 kA for 1 sec. [iii] The minimum certified short-circuit withstand capacity for 2500 A rating shall be 75 kA for 1 sec. [D] HOUSING [i] The busbar trunking housing shall be constructed of 1.6 mm thick electro- galvanised steel and shall be provided with a suitable protective finish of epoxy paint.
[ii] The busbar trunking housing shall be totally enclosed non-ventilated for protection against mechanical damage and dust accumulation and it shall be tested for its characteristics offering resistance against corrosion [iii] The totally enclosed housing shall be manufactured by the BTS OEM and modifications of busbar trunking to make it totally enclosed by housing other than the busbar trunking OEM shall be unacceptable without written consent of the OEM. [E] BUSBARS [i] The busbars shall be of aluminium with tin / silver plating at joint. [ii] There shall be no bolts passing through the busbars of the BBT. [iii] Each busbar shall be insulated with Class- F (155 ˚C) insulation or above. Epoxy insulation shall be unacceptable. [iv] The temperature rise at any point of busbar trunking enclosure shall not exceed 55 ˚C above the ambient temperature of 40 ˚C when operated at the rated current. [F] JOINTS [i] The busbar trunking joint shall be of one-bolt type utilizing high strength steel bolt(s) and Belleville washers to maintain proper pressure over a large contact surface area. [ii] The bolt(s) shall be torque indicating and at earth potential. [iii] The bolt shall be of two-headed design to indicate proper torque has been applied and shall require only a standard long handle wrench to be properly activated.
[iv] Access shall be required to only see one side of the busbar trunking to tighten joint bolts. [v] It shall be possible to remove any joint connection assembly to allow electrical isolation or physical removal of a busbar trunking length without disturbing adjacent busbar trunking lengths. [G] PLUG-IN OPENING [i] The connecting jaw of a plug-in unit shall plug directly onto the busbar and have full contact with busbar itself. Welded tab at plug-in busbar is unacceptable. [ii] All contact on joint and plug-in opening shall be of copper strip in order to avoid external force damage on busbar while plugging in or plugging out operation. [iii] On plug-in busbar trunking there shall be three dead front, hinged cover type plug-in opening on each side. [iv] All openings shall be usable simultaneously. Busbar trunking shall be installed in such a manner that plugs are side mounted to permit practical use of all plug-in openings. [v] It shall be possible to inspect the plug-in opening and busbars prior to the installation of plug-in units. [H] SUPPORT STRUCTURE [i] Support structure shall be provided as per OEM's recommendation. [ii] Indoor feeder and plug-in busbar trunking shall be approved for hanger spacing of up to 3 m for horizontally mounted run and 4.88 m for vertically mounted runs. Outdoor feeder busbar trunking shall be approved for spacing up to 1.5 m for horizontally or vertically mounted runs.
[I] VOLTAGE DROP [i] The voltage drop (sending end voltage minus receiving end voltage) specified shall be based on the busway operating at full rated current and stabilized operating temperature in [ii] The 3- Phase line to line voltage drop shall not exceed 3.4 V per 100 feet length at 40% power factor concentrated load which may exist during motor starting. STP: MAINTENANCE & MANNING OPERATIONS
PART I Manning and operation of sewage treatment plant in three shifts 6000 to 1400 hours, 1400 to 2200 hours & 2200 to 0600 hours having an FGM (skilled) and one mate (semi skilled) in each shift of plant of capacity 400 KLD with MBBR type STP complete installation including pumping of treated water to building OH tanks for flushing purpose complete all as specified and directed.

(d) 11 months after completion of fourth year
(e) 11 months after completion of fifth year
(f) 05 months after completion of sixth year
Equipments (a) Wet well submersible pumps- 02 working and 01 standby (b) Raw sewage transfer pump- 02 working and standby (c) Air blower- 02 working and 01 standby (d) Sodium Hypochloride dosing system with suitable diaphragm pump. (e) Recirculation pumps- 01 working and 01 standby (f) Pump sets- 01 working and Hot standby (Tertiary treatment) (g) BLANK (h) Sludge dewatering filter press feed screw pump- 01 working and 01 standby (i) Hydraulic type filter press of capacity 55 kg per day- 01 working (j) Control panels for STP plant (k) MBBR of aeration tanks- 02 Nos (I) Lamella clarification- 02 Nos (m) Activated carbon filter- 02 No (n) Multi grade filter- 02 No Activities (a) Cleaning of entire plant room and equipments daily (b) Overhauling I greasing and replacement of pump gland packing's monthly and as and when reqd (c) Filling of overhead tanks with treated water for high rise bldgs G+31 (2 towers) by operating distribution valve and overhead tank by deploying required manpower to ensure sufficient STP treated water is made available round the clock to the bldgs
Notes (for item no 38.001 to 38.008) (i) All chemicals reqd for addition in the STP plant will be measured and paid separately as supply of under Part II. (ii) Testing of water sample shall be carried out by the contractor from Govt approved lab / registered lab/ NA BL certified lab for BOD five days, PH, TDS and turbidity and kept on record on weekly basis. (iii) Frequency of test. (a) BOD five days Twice a month (b) PH, TDS, turbidity, free chlorine- daily (iv) Non compliance of testing of water samples will invite penalty at triple the rate of testing charges from Govt approved lab / registered lab / NABL certified lab. (v) The electricity and water required for running of STP will be provided free of cost by the department. (vi) M&O is to be done by vendor executing the work of STP.
PART II Supply only sodium hypochloride solution of 06% concentration in suitable non corrosive cans (The chemical will be supplied as and when required and demanded by E-in-Charge and not in bulk to avoid loss of chlorine in the solution considering its shelf life)
PART III Annual comprehensive maintenance of 400 KLD STP plant of 464 DUs at Trombay(G+31 floor (2 towers) complete by deploying qualified manpower and material as reqd with the following: (i) regular oiling of all machinery and moving parts (ii) Regular greasing of all machinery and moving parts (iii) Carrying out regular preventive maintenance of all electrical panels and their parts and repairs /replacement of electrical worn out parts if needed (iv) Topping up of filter media as and when required or as per manufacturers recommendations (v) Topping up / changing of activated carbon as and when reqd or as per manufacturers recommendations (vi) BLANK (vii) Carrying out daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly maintenance as per manufacturers recommendations (viii) Defective material produced after repairs/ replacement of worn out or defective parts will be departments property and shall be deposited to E/M store yard Note- (i) Non functioning of STP due to any problem / due to non functioning of machinery or defect in plant will invite penalty at Rs 15000/- per day. (ii) Cost of replacement of filter media and activated carbon as and when required or as per manufacturers recommendations is inclusive of rate quoted for AMC. (iii) The dry sludge sewage cakes shall be removed from site by contractor. (iv) Defective material produced after repairs/ replacement of item if any will be departments property and same will be deposited to E/M store yard
