REPAIR/MAINT OF DG SETS AND CONNECTED E/M WORKS AT AF STN MOHANBARI UNDER GE (AF) MOHANBARI.

Amount

Routine maintenance consisting of normal repairs with periodical routine maintenance, attending breakdown as and when required and testing of DG set complete i.e. Engine, Alternator etc for efficient functioning including provision of all consumables items like cotton, waste cloth, kerosene oil etc for repair. Maintenance will be carried out all as specified for various capacity DG Sets here-in-after complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (a) Changing of engine oil. (b) Checking clearance of suction and exhaust valves and adjust if required. (c) Changing of oil filter, fuel filters, screen filters assy. (d) Changing of water filter element. (e) Topping up of coolent. (f) Changing of Hydraulic governer oil. (g) Tightening of all nut bolts. (h) Greasing of all points. (i) Checking of any leaking in fuel and oil lines. (j) Cleaning of fuel tank by taking out the dirt and sludge, cleaning the tank thoroughly. (k) Adjusting valve tappet clearence/timing. (l) Injector pressure test cleaning and repairing, tightining fasteners and making lubrication leak proof. (m) Repair/rewiring of broken/damaged control panel connection including measuring instruments, indicators, engine protection devices etc. Note : (i) DHPP (N), lub oil, engine oil required at the time of maintenance/testing will be issued under Sch "B" 'Free for filling' and coolent will be paid separately. (ii) Labour charges for dismantling/taking down and replacement/refixing of new spare parts as and when required is deemed to be included in unit rate quoted. (iii) Spare parts like oil filter, fuel filter, screen filter by pass filter etc will be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for conditioning of battery 12 Volt, upto 180 AH, to drain out distilled water and Acid, taking out damaged lead plates complete for replacing with new lead plates of suitable weight & size including supplying and filling fresh lead acid , distilled water, microporus seperater and testing for satisfactory functioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for taking out self starter 12/24 volt from the DG Set, transporting to workshop, opening/disconnecting all internal connections, cleaning the same, taking out burnt armature, segrigation of serviceable parts for re-use, rewinding of armature with copper wire of existing size. Reassembling the same with replacement of following items and testing on completion for efficient functioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.:- (a) Carbon brush 01 set. (b) Beadex pinion 01 no. (c) Half clutch assy 01 No. (d) Field coil 01 No. (e) Solenoid switch 01 No. (f) Commutator 01 nos.

Supply and fixing Battery terminal cable, copper conductor multi strand, unsheathed, single core 25 sqmm, 1.5 meter long fixed with copper terminals on both side suitable for 12 Volts & upto 180 AH battery. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for dismantling the unserviceable radiator for DG set of undermentioned capacity from engine, transportation to the workshop, repairing the tank/storage portion including necessary welding & making leak proof of the tank, cleaning the complete radiator with chemical agent and pumping set incl replacement of defective copper core and reassembling the radiator including replacement of all old rusted MS nuts, bolts washers & gasket sets including refixing and testing for efficient functioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for dismantling turbocharger assembly from the DG set of undermentioned capacity from engine, transportation to work shop for repair, cleaning and carrying out inspection of each components/spares segregation of serviceable spares for reuse including decarbonising machine, cutting, grinding, polishing etc. and re-assembling the Turbocharger with replacement of spare parts and refixing on existing position complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note:- Spares required will be measured and paid separately under respective items).

Material and labour for taking out exhaust silencer box and pipe from the DG set of capacity upto 100 KVA, decarburizing and cleaning the silencer box including replacement of nut, bolts, washers, clamp/bracket and refixing and wraping with asbestos rope and powder complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note:- Asbestos rope and powder will be measured and paid separately under respective items).

Material and labour for dismantling of injector assembly of the DG set of under mentioned capacity from engine for repair, cleaning and overhauling of the same with necessary calibration including replacement of necessary repair item as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note:- Spares required will be measured under separate item).

Material and labour for dismantling and taking out burnt/damaged coupling shaft from alternator of 100 KVA DG Set and supply and fixing new coupling shaft with complete assembly suitable for 100 KVA DG Set including cleaning and applying insulating material on existing winding of alternator and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for repair/dismantling engines of 30 to 100 KVA DG Set by opening, checking, inspecting for repair work including replacement of unserviceable parts and cleaning externally complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Material and labour for painting to the DG set of capacity upto 100 KVA including fuel tank foundation base and panel board by prepration of old painted surfaces, cleaning and removing of existing rust, grease oil spot etc and applying two coats of 1st grade synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of aluminium red oxide primer by spray painting of approved make, brand and colours (includes cost of paint) complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for finding out defects of Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) of DG set and taking out burnt interconnection wiring, unserviceable components and serviceable components for reuse, including rewiring of panel using existing size of copper cable, ferrule, lugs, insulating material, nut bolt washer of various sizes refixing serviceable items and replacement of Contactor of any Model and amps capacity, 240 volt coil of any Make and Part No. and testing for efficient functioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repair ignition switch with key for the DG set of capacity upto 82.5 KVA

Supply only distilled water for batteries in 5 litres container.

Supply only Starting relay suitable for existing 750 KVA DG set all as specified and directed.

Supply only Fuel Filter, Oil Filter, Screen Bypass Filter suitable for existing DG set of capacity upto 50 KVA set all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for disconnecting unservicable under ground LT cable of any size/type from existing pole or building or any location complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and laying XLPE insulated armoured heavy duty 1100 V grade LT cable of size 50 sqmm 3.5 core with stranded aluminium conductor cable laid in trenches or passing through pipe or fixed on poles/walls through ducts wall/ceiling and terminating with suitable size of cable, glands and crimping the leads with aluminium lugs complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6 mm thick, burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level connected to galvanised iron strip of 32 X 6 mm connected to test point by means of nut, bolts and washers made out of galvanised iron or steel all including earthing pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1, RCC (1:2:4) type B1 precast cover slab with one handle made out of 8 mm dia round bar,20 mm dia (medium grade) protection pipe and providing layer of charcoal or coke and salt in alternative layers, necessary earth work complete as shown in Electrical plate No 3 including testing on completion for its efficient functioning including taking down existing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth; for trench of cable etc and getting out in Soft/loose soil, making the surface plain complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in Soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated material to a distance n.exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at level n.exc 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and spreading dry coarse sand in trenches for protection of underground electric cable, spread in uniform 23 cm thickness and punned down gently to 18 cm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note: Punned thickness shall be measured and paid. )

Material and labour for well burnt bricks having crushing strength 75 kg/sqcm best quality locally available laid flat, dry in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for galvanized iron tubing 40 mm bore light grade with all fitting for protection of cable, laid in trenches/wall/floor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: Excavation ,earth work shall be measured and paid separately.
