Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m depth; or n exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundations of poles, struts, stays etc. or laying underground cable etc. in soft/loose soil, & getting out complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of excavated surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for sand cushioning with dry coarse sand to under ground cable 23 cm thick, 8 cm thick below the cable and 15 cm thick after laying the cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Thickness after punning shall be considered for payment.

M & L for boring hole across the Road/plinth/hard standing by trench less technology method suitable for 100mm bore pipe for 0.4 mpa working pressure for cable passing without damaging Road / Plinth /Floor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for brick protection with old size sub class 'B' bricks laid flat , length of bricks across the route of underground cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping of poles etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angle and throating, necessary form work and fair finishing all exposed faces of concrete without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation for poles, stays & mass concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for aggregate for loose filling of gauge 80mm to 150mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of platform fencing area complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out old unserviceable underground LT Cable of 4/3.5 core, 10 Sqmm to 70 Sqmm from trenches/floor/road/pipe/along poles including taking out old bricks complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :Excavation, earth work required for item shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing and commissioning 6 sqmm, 2 core XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable heavy duty multi stranded aluminium conductor & PVC sheathed LT cable 1100 volts grade conforming to IS-7098 laid in trenches/ ducts/ fixed on poles/wall/laid under roads/paths/drain/culverts or passing through pipes complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning and brick protection required for item shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ.

Disconnecting of LT supply and opening bus bar chamber / cable box chamber of outdoor / indoor LT Panel, removing of burnt out lugs, MCCB/ MCB of any capacity and size and cleaning of bus bar with CTC solutions, insulating the bus bar by taping with RYB colours, necessary nut bolts of existing size and refixing after repairs complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) Aluminium lugs of any size as per site shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) MCCB/MCB of any capacity shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supply and fix in repairs GI pipe 40mm bore light grade for protection of cable including provisionof clamps, nuts, bolts, etc. required for fixing pipe along pole / wall / laid under the road / laid under the floor or trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for cutting, trimming bushes, weed / tidy plants to bring in a cleaned position and level the area around / inside near E/M installation and making good of LT panel / two, four pole structure / substation / transformer yard without disturbing installed accessories / equipments by using cutting equipments hacksaw, axe, ladders, sword, trimmer for well groomed with safety measures etc incuding disposal of trimmed branches 100 Mtr away inside the cantonment area and cleaning the area complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix on-load change over switches, 4 pole in open execution of capacity 63 Amps complete taking down old unserviceable one and making necessary connections incuding all provisions for fixing in panel compartments as existing using necessary links of suitable metals and cleaning the terminals with CTC solutions complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
