Excavation in trenches in SOFT/LOOSE soil not exceeding 1.50 metre wide and not exceeding 1.50 metre in depth; for foundation, taking out/ laying pipe line, cable etc. and getting out complete, all as specified.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified.

Removal of excavated surplus spoil to a distance n. exc. 50m and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified.

Clean dry sand ( locally available) as cushioning for under ground cable 230 mm thick (one layer of 80 mm thickness before laying the cable and other layer of 150 mm thickness after laying the cable) complete all as specified. NOTE:- Punned down thickness (over all 180 mm) shall be considered for measurement and payment.

Brick protection with pulverized fuel ash lime bricks laid flat across the route of underground cable all as specified.

Plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate in foundation filling & mass concrete as in coping and repair pole copping and surface smooth to match with existing copping complete all as specified.

Supply, laying, jointing & testing of LT XLPE insulated cable screened, bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armourd cable (heavy duty) 1100 volt grade with aluminium conductor conforming to IS-7098 (Part-I -1988) laid in trenches/ ducts/ through pipes/ in floors / under roads/ hard standing /along poles and testing including taking down existing cable, complete all as specified of sectional area

Street light junction box insulated and made out of environment friendly, recyclable, UV resistant , halogen & silicon free, polycarbonate with glass fiber reinforced of size 225 x 295 x 122 mm having protection IP-66/67 & including MCB single pole 6-32 amp and all fixing acessories as required, IN REPLACEMENT, complete. MAKE: Hensel Cat part no.KF 3500 G / GE POWER / RITTAL or equivalent make mentioned in Appendix 'B'.

Taking down existing street light / security lights / flood light / tower search lights and aviation obstruction light fittings of any description fixed in any location i.e. on wall/ pole/ watch tower checking the fault in the lght fitting by opening etc. in presence of Engineer-in-Charge/JE concerned, refixing & reconnecting the same in its original or another location after making it fuctional including necessary repairs/replacement of defective parts complete all as specified . NOTE: Supply only parts will be measured & paid for separately under respective item of BoQ.

Taking down existing high mast system / tower of any description from any height for checking functioning including repair, servicing, lubrcation, overhauling etc. to raising and lowering system, double drum winch, tightening of trailing cable, up and down of lantern carriage and re-fixing of light fitting(s) and making connections inluding necessary repairs/replacement of defective parts within 24 hour of receipt of complaint to the contractor by the MES, complete. NOTE: Supply only parts will be measured & paid for separately under respective item of BoQ.

Astronomical time switch with minium switching time of 1 minute weekly programmable including making necessary electrical connections, time setting and testing etc and including taking out the existing time switch complete all as specified and directed.

Applying two coats of aluminium paint on steel tublar poles 9 metre long (overall length including planting depth) including connected steel structures such as channels, cross arms, bracings, brackets, clamps, anti climbing devices etc., making blue and white strips 30cm each upto 1.5 metre height from top of PCC foundation and writing pole no. of height 80mm with white shade synthetic enamel paint in capital letters over 150mm x 230mm yellow base and applying two coats of cement base paint on PCC portion including preparation of surfaces, complete all as specified.

Making LT panel doors operateable to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge by providing new hinges of existing size & pattern including necessary welding, sheet metal repair work and applying a coat of anti corrosive primer after preparation of surfaces and filling the undulation with ready made putty for MS/steel surfaces, complete.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to and including GI strip 32x6 mm as earthing lead by means of GI or steel bolts/nuts/washers, protected by 15 mm bore GI light grade pipe. Earth plate shall be surrounded by alternate layer of charcoal or coke and common salt 15 cm thick all around bottom and top. 20 mm bore GI light grade pipe for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, RCC cover, reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 75 mm C/C both ways with mild steel handle 12 mm dia, using round bar, PGI funnel with wire mess & frame, PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in earthing pit including necessary excavation & earth work, all as specified & shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part – I, IN REPLACEMENT, complete all as specified. Note:- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (ii) The unit rate includes earthing lead & protection pipe upto 7.5 metre from top of earth plate. (iii) Earth resstance shall be less than 3 ohm. In case the test results are not found less than 3 ohm, complete earthing shall be redone by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt.

Note : Amount of credit for retrieved materials is mentioned in Sch of credit of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted while acceptance of tender offline.
