Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, for all lift, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Extra rate for quantities of works,executed : Note for item No. 2.24:- The extra percentage rate is applicable in repect of each item but limited to quantities of work executed in these difficult conditions. The unit, namely,metre depth, to be considered for payment,shall be the depth measured from the sub soil water level upto the centre of gravity of the quantity executed in difficult conditions. The depth shall be reckoned correct to 0.1 metre. 0.05 metre or more shall be taken as 0.1 metre and less than 0.05 metre ignored.

Providing and constructing gabian structures for erosion control, river training works and protection works with polymer wire crates divided into 1m compartments by cross netting with mesh opening size 150mm x 150mm, made from 9mm polymer rope (PP) having weight of 40grm/m with a tolerance of + or -8%,1560 kg breaking strength (min) and after 1000 cycles of abrasion the rope shall be subjected to tensile test as per IS:7071 (Part IV)-1986, which shall be more than 85% of the original breaking strenth of the rope, the crates shall be filled with boulders with least dimensions of 200 mm, all loose ends to be securely tied with 9 mm polymer wire as per the specification of standard specification of gabions and as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

With Polymer wire crates of mesh size 150mm x 150mm woven with 9mm dia. polymer wire crate size of 1.00m x 1.00m x1.00m.

With Polymer wire crates of mesh size 150mm x 150mm woven with 9mm dia. polymer wire crate size of 2.00m x 1.00m x1.00m.

With Polymer wire crates of mesh size 150mm x 150mm woven with 9mm dia. polymer wire crate size of 3.00m x 1.00m x1.00m.

Supplying and laying of multifilament woven geo textile conforming to woven pp geo textile (240 gm TFI 1300) on the back side of gabion the cost will include all the operations like supplying and laying in places etc. as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
