Repair and maint of LT electricity distribution network in Prayag, Triveni and OTM Accn in Old Cantt under GE (East) Prayagraj.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil including bottom surface to required level or slope for laying of cable etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in excavated soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm each in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L sand cushioning with dry local (ganga) sand for cable protecting under ground cable (8 cm before laying the cable and 15 cm after laying the cable) in trenches and consolidated complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : Punned thickness 18 cm only shall be considered for payment.

M&L for sub class ‘B’ common burnt, bricks old size, designated '75', laid dry, flat with width equal to length of bricks as cover/laid over the cable to give mechanical protection to under ground cable complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair GI pipe 40 mm bore 'light grade' ISI marked including fittings such as bends, tees, sockets etc fixed on wall/pole or laid in trenches under road crossing including taking down existing pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old/unsv/rusted pole including S&F of new steel tubular pole 410-SP-31 (9.0m long pole) complete with cast iron base plate, pole cap, mild steel bolt, nuts and screws complete including dismantling of exsiting pole all as specified including consisting of following works:- (a) Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50 mtr wide & 1.50 mtr deep for pole foundation & getting out in soft/loose soil, returning filling in the excavated of soil after fixing the pole in foundation ramming earth around in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs complete all as specified and directed. (d) M&L for painting of pole externally with one coat of black bituminous paint (upto planting depth) and above plinth block concrete collar with two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including preparation of surface including painting of 30 cm wide bands 3 Nos with synthetic enamel paint of appropriate colour in alternate layer upto the height of 1.5mm above plinth block. (e) M&L for writing letter or figures (Block Roman, Italic as Indian) with thick synthetic enamel paint of apprised shade not exceeding 5 cm height including numbering of pole complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair new generation energy saving and environmental friendly long life LED street light 70W made up of pressure die cast aluminium housing with high efficiency LED as lighting source and Toughened glass having Bottom Opening seperate driver compartment with IP66 protection and impact resistance of IK07 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for clearing of vegetation around steel tubular poles up to 1.0 m radius, including cutting and removal of grass, bushes, creepers and tree branches touching the pole or overhead line, ensuring the pole and its surroundings are completely vegetation-free. Thereafter, painting of steel tubular pole of height up to 9.0 metres, including cross arms, clamps, and brackets of any length and shape, for overhead line or street light, with one coat of aluminium paint after proper surface preparation. The work shall also include marking three black and two yellow bands (each 10 cm wide) by fluorescent paint from coping to 1.5 m height, painting the coping with whitewash, painting the pole number inside a 15 cm dia yellow circle and reconnecting all disconnected electrical connections after painting, taking necessary safety precautions and obtaining required shutdown, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for cutting trimming and vending tree branches along over head lines and restringing the same after arranging electrical shut down including taking all precautions while working on lines contractor using own T&P by the contractor complete all as specified and directed. For taking shut down to excute the work min one skilled electrician and four mazdoor for 8 hrs/day shall be deployed on the work.)

M&L for clearing and cleaning of sub-station area of all vegetation, foliage, shrubs, grass, and debris for an area up to 500 sqm, including cleaning of the roof of the sub-station building of all accumulated dust, dry leaves. and vegetation, and collection, loading, transportation, and disposal of all waste within Cantonment limits to a distance not exceeding 1000 metres, complete. Cleaning shall be carried out once every month, and the contractor shall maintain a pucca bound register recording each monthly cleaning activity, duly certified by the JE and AGE prior to claiming payment. Work shall include all abour, tools, equipment, and safety precautions required for execution, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair cable jointing kit for 1100V grade cable for straight through joint complete with Jointing material heat Shrink type and accessories suitable for 3 ½ / 4 core XLPE, armoured, aluminium conductor cable of size 95 to 240 sqmm,Indoor/Outdoor type complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for defect rectification in LT 1100 V cable laid in trenches by locating fault with the help of electronic fault locator machine comprising of surge generator pulse ECHP fault location with high frequency distance calculator etc. Excavation in any type of soil strata exposing the cable fault removal of deteriorated position of cable treating of cable and keeping the same ready for jointing work for cables of size upto 240 sqmm 3.5 core. The fault located equipment will be brought at site within 02 hours of Instruction received from Engineer-in-charge complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in repair for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600mmx600mmx6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 M deep below GL with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 M below GL) connected with GI strip 32 x 6mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer besides brazing at all joints as shown on drawings and including excavation, earth work, 40mm bore GI pipe light grade ISI marked for protection of GI strip from earth electrode to and including the earth test point, supplying and laying charcoal dust, common salt, PCC 1:3:6, type C-1 chamber and mild steel angle iron frame 40 x 40 x 3 mm and 40 mm thick pre-cast RCC cover (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 75 mm C/C both ways with mild steel handle 12 mm dia, PGI funnel and wire mesh, 20 mm dia GI pipe light grade ISI marked for watering all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I and connected to earth test point including testing including dismantling of old ineffective earthing complete all as specified and directed.
