Outsourcing of services for operation of electric lifts any description (Passenger Patient Bed/ Load carrying) any speed installed at Command Hospital, Chandimandir round the clock for 24 hours in 03 shifts (each shift of 08 hours) complete all as specified and directed.

Notes:- (i) In case lift is operated for less than 8 hours due to any reason other than due to contractors or contractor's operator's negligence/ fault, the payment for operation of part of time of operation in such case shall be made on the proportionate basis of the quoted rate against above item for as such period of operation. In case lift is not operated due to contractors or contractor's operator's fault/ negligence, provisions given in Sch 'A' and particulars specifications shall be applicable. (ii) Morning Shift 06 lifts 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs - 06 operators (iii) Evening Shift 06 lifts 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs - 06 operators (iv) Night Shift 02 lifts 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs - 02 operators Total = 14 operators The contractor will be responsible for weekly rest to all lift operators and no extra payment will be made on this account.Contractor will have to employ seperate trademen /operator in each shift for which the contractor has to submit all the relevant details like wage register,attendance register,duty roster. Tradesmen/operators employed by the contractor must be ITI qualified in relevant field and must have minimum of 05 years experience from reputed company/firm.

Scope of work will be to check serviceability / reporting the faults as under: and maintain a register for their serviceability. (i)Contractor have to check the serviceability of 20 passenger lifts-04 Nos and 16 passenger lifts-02 Nos (ii)Control panel - 06 Nos (iii) LT Panel incl switch gears - 06 Nos

Contractor have to check the proper functioning of all lifts, brakes and clutch etc.

Check the rope, all nuts and bolts and maintain the record monthly If the register/ record for serviceability/ complaints is not maintained by the contractor and he does not produced the same daily to the JE E/M (in-charge)/ Engr-in-Charge, a sum of Rs. 100/- per day will be charged from the date of handing over of site.

Maintain the attendance register, break down register and duty register duly showing the reliever as required on daily basis as approved by Engineer -in- Charge and submit the record accordingly. Contractor will also produce the residence proof alongwith the police verification of the the operator and employees detailed by him. If he fails to produce the documents a penalty of Rs. 100/- per day per employee will be charged from the date of handing over of site till the date documents are actually produced by the contractor.

The Lift operator's / trademen (Mechanic) will be available at site during their duty time (Shift) and a record will be maintain round the clock. If operator is found absent a recovery @ Rs. 500/- will be made from contractor for 1st hour and Rs 200/- per hour onward upto 8 hours of one shift.

Department will have no liability whatsoever during manning and operation or thereafter occurring on account of employment of trade men employed by contractor.

Contractor will maintain proper upkeep of installation i.e cleaning of area inside & outside, cleaning of panels, lift car, periodical checking of components of lift. If the lifts are not maintained neat and cleaned by the contractor a penalty of Rs.100/- per lift per day will be charged from the contractor.

Contractor will be fully responsible for security of installation. Any loss / damage to any part of installation will be made good by the contractor.

Contractor shall submit the insurance policy of the deployed tradesmen/ helpers within 15 days of commencement of work. If he fails to do so, Rs. 100.00 for each tradesman/helper per day regularly will be deducted from the RAR after the 15th day of commencement of work.

Contractor will issue uniform for each lift operator/ mechanic of colour as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge within 15 days of commencement of work . If he fails to do so, Rs 100/- for each operators per shift per person regularly will be deducted from the RAR after the 15th day of commencement of work.

Contractor will produce monthly payment summary (bank summary statement) signed by the operators/mechanic to Engineer-in-Charge for verification of the monthly payment of the operators duly signed by the contractor. If he fails to do so, Rs 2000/- will be deducted as a penalty for each operator/mechanic for every month from the RAR.

Lift operator's must have the qualification of ITI holder and 5 year experience in relevant field from any reputed company / firm for same nature of job.Contractor will submit their certificate within 15 days of commencement of work. Incase he fails to submit the certificate of operators/mechanic, Rs 3000/- penalty will be recovered from RAR for each operator for each month.

Contractor has to consider minimum wages act enacted by Govt of India. The contractor shall be bound to pay as per the minimum wages to the employees during the currency of the work. Contractor wil have to submit/maintain wages register/attendance register, duty roster and log sheets for the same.
