Compacting Orignal Ground Loosening Levelling and Compacting orignal ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150mm mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in Tables 300.1 and 300.2 for embankment construction as per technical Specification Clouse 301.4.1

Prime Coat (Low porosity) Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of grangular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 Kg / sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clouse 502

Tack coat (RS-I) Granular Surface Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom.

Tack coat (RS-I) BT Surface Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom.
