Preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. Complete all as specified and as direced by engineer-incharge.

M&L for Applying evenly tack coat with paving bituminous (VG-10) @ 10Kg per 10 Sq.m. Complete all as specified and as direced by engineer-incharge.

Repair to pot holes any depth, n exc 1 Sqm each incl sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering & well ramming (incl supply of road metal).Complete all as specified and as direced by engineer-incharge.

M&L for Applying evenly tack coat with paving bituminous primer (VG-10) @ 5Kg per 10 Sq.m. Complete all as specified and as direced by engineer-incharge.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam using paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 4% by weight of total mix, spread rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber for up to 50mm consolidated thickness all.Complete all as specified and as direced by engineer-incharge.

M&L for Applying evenly tack coat with paving bituminous primer (VG-10) @ 2.5Kg per 10 Sq.m. Complete all as specified and as direced by engineer-incharge.

M&L for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete( Design Mix) 30mm consolidated thickness using crushed graded stone aggregate mixed with binder content (VG-30) @ 5.5% by weight of total mix rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne capacity power roller. Complete all as specified and as direced by engineer-incharge. NOTE: (i) Premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete shall be laid using self propelled mechanical paver and preparation of mix shall be using computerized hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact quantity of bitumen to be used shall be determined by design mix by Marshal method.

Marking the dashes, arrow etc exceeding 10cm wide on road surfaces using hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint 2.5mm thickmixed with radium glass beads @ 250 gram/sqm with automatic machine to provide reflectivity and night vision (approximate temperature being 200 degree at the time of laying) including cleaning the surface of all dirt and other forgine materials, demarcation at the site and other road furniture items complete all as specified and directed. painting 2mm thick, white/yellow with hot thermoplastic road marking material confirming BS STD 3362 with 20% glass beads (intermixed) spread and laid by automatic mechanical machine engine drive. Complete all as specified and as direced by engineer-incharge. Notes for items 1 to 8 : The repair of road work will be carried out in patches as per site requirement i.e. bell mouth, curves, widening of roads and cutting for laying of cables/pipes etc under entire technical area where patch work is required.

SCHEDULE 'A' PART-II (Schedule of credit) Credit amount of Rs (Refer schedule of credit) for retrieved material mentioned in Sch 'A' Part-II (if applicable) of Tender documents in PDF form will be deducted offline during acceptance of tender of lowest bidder.

Note: (1) The repair and painting has to be carried out as and when required basis and accordingly site will be available in piecemeal wise and as directed by Enginer-in-Charge.

(2) The contractor shall remove all the rubish/waste materials from the site of the work and deposit the same at a place exceeding 100 metres as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor shall also clean all joinery, floor, glass panes, fittings and fixtures etc. which may have been affected by the execution of work and will leave the site clean and tidy to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The rates quoted by the Contractor for all the relevant items of BOQ shall be deemed to be included of this element.
