Excavation for road way in by mechanical means earth soil of all sorts sand, gravel, soft murum and hard murum, hard murum with boulders including dressing section to the required grade, camber and side slopes and conveying the excavated materials with all lifts upto a lead of 50m. and spreading for embankment or stacking etc. as directed by Engineer in charge.

Supplying hard murum/ kankar at the road side, including conveying and stacking complete.

Supplying trap/ granite/ quartzite/ gneiss stone metal of 60 mm size by bringing the rubble / boulders at the road side, breaking them to required gradation including conveying rubble / boulders and stacking broken metal etc. complete a) By breaking rubble obtained by blasting (Hand Broken)

Supplying trap/ granite/ quartzite/ gneiss stone metal of 40 mm size by bringing the rubble / boulders at the road side, breaking them to required gradation including conveying rubble / boulders and stacking broken metal etc. complete a) By breaking rubble obtained by blasting. (Hand Broken)

Supplying soft murum at the road side, including conveying and stacking complete.

Spreading gravel/ sand/ soft murum/ hard murum over rubble soling / W.B.M. surface complete.

Compacting sub base / blanketing of hard murum/kankar (upto 300 mm loose) with power roller including artificial watering complete

Spreading 60mm/80mm metal including sectioning complete.

Spreading 40mm metal including sectioning complete.

Compacting the sub grade / gravel oversize metal up to 200mm loose with power roller etc. complete. a) 2 mt. to 7 mt. width.

Compacting the subgrade/ gravel/ size metal (100mm loose) layers with power roller including necessary, labour, materials and artificial watering complete. a) 2 mt. to 7 mt. width.

Providing and laying 75mm thick compacted Bitumen Bound Macadam with 80/100 grade bitumen over existing WBM surface including picking the road metalled surface, thoroughly cleaning the WBM surface by using mechanical broom or approved equipment, spreading 40 mm size metal (Hand broken by bringing blasted rubble on site of work) at the rate of 0.09 cum./sqm. compacting metal with roller and bitumen is then spread at the rate of 2 kg/sqm., spreading 12 mm metal at the rate of 0.018 cum./sqm. The surface shall be lightly rolled so that metal pieces get embeded in the bitumen layer and rolling shall continue until entire surface is throughly compacted etc. complete. (With Static Roller) (including diversion road)

Providing and laying 75mm thick compacted Bitumen Bound Macadam with 80/100 grade bitumen over existing BT surface including thoroughly cleaning the BT surface by using mechanical broom or approved equipment, applying tack coat at the rate of 0.5 kg./sqm., spreading 40 mm size metal (Hand broken by bringing blasted rubble on site of work) at the rate of 0.09 cum./sqm. compacting metal with roller and Bitumen is then spread at the rate of 2 kg/sqm., spreading 12 mm metal at the rate of 0.018 cum./sqm. Providing and laying 50mm thick compacted Bitumen Bound Macadam with 80/100 grade bitumen over existing BT surface including thoroughly cleaning the BT surface by using mechanical broom or approved equipment, applying tack coat at the rate of 0.5 kg/sqm. spreading 40 mm size metal (Hand broken by bringing blasted rubble on site of work) at the rate of 0.06 cum./sqm., compacting metal with roller and Bitumen is then spread at the rate of 1.75 kg/sqm., spreading 12 mm metal at the rate of 0.018 cum./sqm. The surface shall be lightly rolled so that metal pieces get embeded in the bitumen layer and rolling shall continue until entire surface is throughly compacted etc. complete. (With Static Roller) (including diversion road).

Providing & laying hot mix hot laid bituminous macadam with 60/70 grade bitumen 50/ 75 mm. average thickness with 3.3% bitumen by weight of total mix including diversion of traffic, supply of all materials, heating bitumen & chips, mixing bitumen & chips in drum mix plant, laying bituminous macadam by paver finisher including compaction (including emulsion tack coat) etc. complete. A)With Drum Mix Plant with Paver without SCADA

Providing 20 mm. thick open graded premix bituminous carpet, including supplying all material, as directed, preparing & cleaning the base, heating bitumen, applying tack coat at 0.3 kg./sqm. laying carpet and compacting without seal coat on B.T. surface Hot Mix Hot laid with paver finisher. i) With static roller a) With 60/70 grade.

Providing bituminous liquid seal coat (Type A) to black top surface, with 60/70 grade bitumen including supplying all materials including all leads, preparing existing road surface, heating & applying bitumen 0.98 Kg/Sqm, spreading chips & rolling complete (by using bulk asphalt)

Conveying materials obtained from road cutting including all lifts, laying in layers, breaking clods, dressing to the required lines, curves, grades and section from the site of excavation to the site of deposition as directed with lead of over 300 to 500 m.

Excavation for foundation in earth, soil of all types, sand, gravel and soft murum, including removing the excavated material up to a distance of 50 m.beyond construction area & stacking and spreading as directed, dewatering, preparing the bed for the foundation and necessary back filling, ramming, watering includ­ing shoring and strutting etc. complete. Lift upto 1.5 m.

Dewatering including diversion of stream, providing coffer dam, bunds etc. as may be necessary for foundation and other parts of work and bailing out and pumping out water during and after excavation as required. Spec. No. BR.4 Page No. 104

Providing rubble filling of trap/ granite/ quartzite gneiss stones foundations including hand packing filling gravel/ sand in the voids etc complete.
