The 36kV SF6 Gas Insulated Switchgear for three phase system shall have single bus bar arrangement with 14 bays (2 No. Transformer I/C bays from 100MVA Transformer, 1 No. bus-sectionalizer bays, 8 nos. feeder bays, one no. O/G trunk feeder with capacity equivalent to incomer, 1 No. T/F bays for Auxiliary T/Fs and 1 No. Capacitor bank bays). Space shall be kept in GIS hall for adding future bays and jointing plugs required for connecting GIS of different makes. The SF6 Gas Insulated Switchgear rated for 33kV, 3-phase, 50Hz, 31.5kA for 3 sec. fault level shall be of the indoor metal-enclosed type, comprising of following items. 36kV, 2000A, single 3 – or three 1 –, SF6 gas insulated, metal enclosed bus bars arrangement, consisting of 2000A single 3 – or three 1 – SF6 gas insulated switchgears, each Bus Bar comprising of :- i) Bus bar enclosures running through the length of the switchgear to interconnect each of the circuit breaker bay modules in single bus system. ii) Each GIS compartment with gas monitoring device, pressure switch etc. as required. iii) Terminal boxes/ Local Control Cubicle consisting of all protection relays, mechanism control system, indication system etc. iv) Interconnecting wiring/ piping. v)Grounding, support structures and platforms

SITE SURFACING Providing, supplying & laying two layers of uncrushed/crushed/broken stone/ pebbles gravel fill. The first layer after compaction shall make min. 50mm thickness course/layer of 40mm nominal size, including dressing, rolling & compaction complete as per specs., GELO and instructions of XEN/CWD.Surplus earth, if any shall be disposed of to a suitable undisputed place outside the substation without any extra cost.
