Cleaning and disinfection of entire internal surfaces of underground sump capacity 2.0 Lakh Gallon single or double compartments at New & Old Cantt Patiala Military Station (Limb II & Limb III) including all required T & P and Manpower comprising the following process:-

Notes for Srl No. 1 to 6:- (a) Draining out water and evacuation of internal surfaces including floor and ceiling with mechanical pressure machine by applying solution of H2 02 (Hydrogen per Oxide) in the ratio of 1: 100 ( 1 LTR of H202 and 100 Ltr of water). (b) Dislodging the dirt layers with high-speed water jet including scrapping the surface with wire brush and draining out the sludge water. (c) Cleaning the internal surfaces complete with Mechanical Scrubber and washing the surfaces with high-pressure water jet. (d) Filling the chambers with clear water and washing out prior to refill after complete process.

Draining out raw water, taking out silt & other waste particles from clariflocculator tank inner and outer (two nos ) at BML and removal of silt at distance not less than 500 mtrs from tank and then cleaning and washing of inner walls and floor of tank including removing sticky particles by scraping with sand paper till all the surfaces are totally cleaned, washing the surface using solution of Hydrogen per -oxide in the ratio of 1:100 and White washing to complete internal walls of tank all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Conducting Turbidity tests of raw water and clear(treated) water of BML water supply installation. Note:- The turbidity test shall be carried out from govt recognized laboratory every two months.

Conducting Chemical Analysis of Treated water as per IS-10500-1991 with latest revisions if any shall be carried out once in span of 3 month from the date of commencement of work.

Cleaning the entire area within the fencing/ boundary wall of BML installation which includes cutting of bushes /shrubs / unwanted Grass in the periphery and surrounding of complete installation, cleaning of surrounding area of Raw water sump (02 Nos) upto 9 mtrs (including cleaning Brick lining) from fencing of tank, surrounding area of Flocculators, Chlorine chamber, Sludge pumping installation, O/H reservoir, Chlorine room, Filteration installation, Gen rooms, drains as well as Clear water sumps, removing unwanted grass of the complete installation, including sweeping of whole area and disposal of all the removed material after cutting/ cleaning all as directed. The plinths around the complete buildings at installation is to be maintained free from any type of grass and cleaning complete. (Rate quoted will be composite cleaning of area by deploying of Man power and all type of T&P)

Labour only for cleaning of Aerator appx size 9.5 mtrs dia (including scrubbing & cleaning of Tiles fixed on surface of three steps inside Aerator connected with open channels with solution) connected with Clariflocculators and than further it is connected with all filter beds No. 1,2,3&4 through open channels. The internal size of channel is not more than 1 metre wide and 1 metre depth and length of channel is not more than 100 metres at main BML installation complete all as specified and directed . (This job will be done as and when ordered by Engr-in-charge)

Supply only O-Tolodine regent solution in 500 ml bottle as per Sample approved complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only tyre coupling suitable for 30 to 70 HP centrifugal pump

Labour only for taking out the foot valve assembly of 30 HP to 75 HP along with connected 8 inch suction pipe after unscrewing the nuts /bolts , screws etc and reassembling after necessary repairs complete all as specified and directed . The cost of element includes the following elements, (i) Taking out the foot valve assembly from sump. ( Appx. Depth of sump 15 feet and wt appx 200 kg ) complete with suction strainer etc incl replacement of gasket and welding and lathe work if required. (ii) Reassembling the same after repair to foot valve , lowering down reassembling and testing complete all as directed. Note - Required T&P such as lifting chain – pulley block and tripod (not less than 2 ton capacity and 20 feet lifting arrangement portable type ) and other lifting arrangement shall be deemed included in quoted rate.

Taking out unserviceable foot valve incl supply, fixing and testing of new foot valve assembly suitable for 40 HP to 75 HP pump set 200 mm along with connected 8 inch suction pipe after unscrewing the nuts /bolts, screws etc all as specified and directed. Note - Required T&P such as lifting chain – pulley block and tripod (not less than 2 ton capacity and 20 feet lifting arrangement portable type ) and other lifting arrangement shall be deemed included in quoted rate.

Taking out unserviceable Non return Valve including supply, fixing and testing of new Cast Iron swing check type Non Return (Reflux) Valve With SS-304 Disc and Nitrile Rubber Lining. Shell Test Pressure - 24.5 Kg/cm g, Seat Test Pressure 16 Kg/cm as per IS 5312, part-I, PN 1.6 without bypass arrangement, ends flanged suitable for 200 mm bore pipe complete with nuts /bolts and washers of appropriate size and rubber gasket etc complete all as specified and directed . Make – KIRLOSKAR/L&T / VENUS / SANT/ZOLOTO

Disconnecting the electrical connections of gear box from from pannel board including taking down gear box from bridge of clarifloculator tank after unscrewing nuts / bolts from base frame and carrying to work shop for repairs and reassembling after necessary repairs which shall include the following elements – (i) Disconnecting the gearbox unscrewing the nuts / bolts. (ii) Reassembling the gearbox and reinstallating in the floculator bridge including to and fro transporting charges upto approved workshop (iii) Paint to gearbox with one coat of synthetic enameled paint matching with existing colour. Note - Any defective part to be replaced shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of schedule , here in after . EIC approval shall be taken before declaring any part as defective. Required T&P and lifting arrangement shall be contractors responsibility and shall be deemed included in quoted rate. Note: i)The parts to be replaced and repairs as required and ordered by Engineer-in-charge shall be paid separately under respective items here in after ii) Transport charges to and fro upto approved are ncluded in quoted rate of this item.

Material and labour for taking down old rusted MS chequered sheet from grated walkway and dive platform of travelling bridge clarifier including supply,fabriaction, fixing new MS chequered sheet of 10 mm thick by welding and painting with black bituminious paintall as specified ans as directed.

Material and labour for fabricating and fixing of SS ISS Type 304 steel scraper blade(steel trus rake arms) shall be fabricated of 3/16 mm thick steel plate of 5 feet long in scaraper mechanism, fitted parallel to the tank bottom, adjustable tie rod shall be support sludge rake arms, The rake arm shall be adjustable at the drive cage and shall be designed to meet AISC specification and fastened with stainless steel fasteners complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for replacement of carbon brush holder with carbon brush slip ring/Rocker plate (04 Nos)and carbon (08 Nos) all as specified and as directed in grated walkway of clarifloculator mechanism.

Taking down old unserviceable LT Pannel incl Fixing only LT pannel incl testing and commissioning. Note :- LT Pannel Shall be issued by department for fixing only.

The LT panel comprises of following :- Factory fabricated prewired, CPRI aproved, cubical type of appropriate size out door, dust and vermin proof, made out of 50x50x6mm angle iron frame/legs and 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet with openable shutters on front side, wiring with suitable size of copper cable, powder coated externally and internally, having locking arangement mounted on four legs 60cm high on the travelling bridge of clarifloculator tank by necessary welding as per site requirment complete and all as specified & directed by the Engr-in-Charge to accommodate the following accessories :- Incoming (a) Copper bus bar 300 A for three phase and neutral duly insulated with sleeves of different colour RYB . (b) MCCB FP 63 A 16KA - 1 Nos (c) R,Y,B Phase Indication lamp with fuse-1 set. (c) 0-100A Digital Ammeter , 100/5A Class-1.0, 15VA CTs-1 No (d) 0-500V Digital Voltmeter with control MCB -1 No Outgoing (e) MCB TP 32 A alongwith Contactor MNX 9 and thermal OR relay MN 2 relay range 9-15A -05 Nos (f) MCB SP 6-32A -05 Nos. (g) Flush head type Push button (Set of Two) -05 Nos Note : (i) Incoming and outgoing cable shall be fixed with appropriate size of copper thimble (ii) Apron shall be provided at bottom for protection of cable to avoid entry of vermins, reptiles. (iii) Entries of all sizes of cables in panel should be done through adequate size of metallic cable glands.

Material and labour for fixing of impeller, shaft & 3 blade propeller suitable for existing geared motor of Agitator at BML all as specified and as directed. (a) Shaft,impeller and other parts are made out of SS- 304. (b) Mounting :- top entry center mounted. (c) Coupling :- Jaw type. (d) length of shaft :- 2.45 mtr.

Taking out old header from BML including fixing only and testing of Factory made mild steel common header made out of 10 mm thick sheet. The Job comprises of following :- (i) Internal Dia 500 mm . (ii) I shape having total length 3.45 mtr. Provided with 3 branch connections. Two branch connection of 150 mm dia , and one of 200 mm dia . Each branch connection upto 50 mm long ( as per ground requirment) and made out of 8 mm thick MS sheet of TATA / SAIL and having 20 mm thick flanges of reqd dia. (iii) Welding of flange shall be part of job. (iv) Header shall have epoxy powder coating from inside as approved W -250, and provided with 2 coats of synthetic enamelled over one coat of red oxide primer. (v) Header shall be conforming to IS-3589;2001 Clause 10 Necessory test certificate shall be produced by the OEM. Note :- The cost of necessery T & P for lifting and shifting shall be included in the unit rate quoted and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

M&L MS blind flanges for header with and including by welding sheet of thickness 20 mm of 550 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for MS flanges as in connection of suction / delivery pipes of thickness not less than 20 mm and 150 mm dia complete with one no. 6mm thick rubber insertion sheet all as directed. Note :-The cost of welding of flanges with pipe and any other article shall be included in the unit rate quoted and nothing extra shall be admissible on this :account. I

M&L for MS flanges as in connection of suction / delivery pipes of thickness not less than 20 mm and 200 mm dia complete with one no. 6mm thick rubber insertion sheet all as directed. M&L for fixing of S.S Glycerin filled Pressure Gauge 150 mm size 0-21 kg / cm , including U bend, GI Pipe and Brass valve arrangement along with pipe fitting complete in all respects complete all as specified and directed .

Taking up the existing filter media sand and gravels from filter beds of filteration plant and depositing within 50 m distance for disposal complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of Inner surface of filteration chambers of size not more than 6.8 metres x 5.0 metres x 3 metres depth by removing sticky particles from walls, floor by scraping with sand paper till all the surfaces are totally cleaned, washing the surface using solution of Hydrogen pero -oxide and water in the ratio of 1:100 to entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge and applying one coat of white wash prior to load the filter media complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing gravels and spreading in layers in the filter beds upto 35 mm size complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing of old sufaces and painting to all inter connection pipes of size 800 mm – 1000 mm laid in filter bed for clear water / back wash water complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down including Supply and fix crown shaped LED post top lantern 1 x 20 watt LED luminaire incl 20 Watts LED lamp in soothing opel finished made up of polycarbonate B 22 base complete all specified and directed.

Supply and laying XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cables with aluminium conductor 1100 Volt grade cross sectional area 6 Sqmt 2 Core complete all specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of cables including getting out in any kind of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, and well ramming, in layers not exceeding 25 cm each layer of any kind of soil complete all specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated material from site not exceeding 50 mtrs from starting point and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all specified and directed.

Sand cushioning for cables 8 cm below the cable and 15 cm above the cable all as specified and directed .

Supply and Lay reinforced Precast Concrete cable cover LV type 1 flat size 250mmx150mmx40 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting the existing rusted pipe in filtertaion plant including Supply and fixing of GI tubing medium grade 80 mm bore of reqd size with flaged end by welding and tightening with suitable size of nut and bolts and two coats of synthetic enamel paint matching with existing colour (yellow) all as specified and as directed.

Taking down broken UPVC pipe incl supply and lay perforated double walled corrugated UPVC pipe of size 125 mm outer dia, pressure rating 12.5 kgf/sqcm conforming to IS 4985-81 of approved colour with neccessary fitting complete and making hole all as specified and as directed.
