Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soil) to a distance n.exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne power roller to required level, gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed

M&L for 150 mm thick (Spread Thickness) soling (sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone to a size ranges 50mm to 100mm, intersticess filled, surface formed and rolled and considered o requird gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed

M&L 15 cm thick in two layer (compacted thickness) i.e each 7.5 cm thick, water bound macadum with coarse aggregates of gradint, lime stone, sand stone, flint or quartizite (63 to 40 mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Each layer shall be measured separately and thicjness measured shall be the compacted finished thickness. (ii) The rates include forming clay puddle bunds (retaining fillets) on both edge of spread aggreagate.

Preparing existing / unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces by air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming coat with paving bitumen grade Vg-10@10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L bituminous premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (Gde-II), 40 mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content (bitumen grade VG-30) by weight of total mix in hot mix plant, laid with mechanical paver and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with 12 tonnes articulated tandem roller (Double drum vibratory roller) and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) The mix shall be mixed in hot mix plant and laid with mechincal paver only. (ii) The mix shall be prepared by designing through job mix formula all as specified from Govt. engg college / Govt approved lab/HBTI. (iii) No price adjustment for Bitumen shall be done for variation on plus side. (iv) Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete will be comprising of 2% filler material (OPC 43 grade cement). (v) Cost of testing chrages, material & transportation for job mix formula shall be deemed included in the rate quoted.

M&L sub classs 'B' brick old size in continuous brick edging with width equal to the width of brick, laid dry on end vertically complete all as specified and directed.
