REPAIR/ RESURFACING TO INTERNAL ROADS WITH ASPHALT CONCRETE AND CERTAIN CONNECTED WORKS AT SU AF STN UNDER GE (AF) BAGDOGRA

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 30 mm in depth making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen @ 5kgs/10 sqm, putting in pre-mixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and exc 50 mm and not exc 100 mm deep including removing and stacking Complete all as specified and Directed By Engineer-in-Charge Note:- Scarifying material obtained shall be proper seiving and stacking as directed.

M&L for Laying and compacting 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note- The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MaRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013

M&L for preparing of New unsurfaced WMM of road surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat before 24 hrs prior to Laying of SDAC with bituminous emulsion @10 Kg/10 Sqm using cationic emulsion RS1 grade complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam (using 4% binder content by weight of total mix) laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc applying evenly a priming/tack coat with cutback bituminous primer (RS-1) at 3 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of grade 30 (VG 30), rolled and compacted, mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and pre-mixed material laid with mechanical paver, finished including rolling to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Semi-dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as per design mix. Contractor shall quote his unit rate considering the bitumen contents as 5.5%. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted at the rate of Rs. 50.00 per KG of binder. No adjustment in price shall be made if the variation is on plus side.

M & L for Premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cu.m. of sand mixed with 6.8 kg of bitumen VG-30, applied 10 Sqm and rolled to a uniform smooth surface Complete all as specified.

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Application shall be carried out through mechanical applicances by the approved applicator of the manufacturer of paint

Supply and fixing in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions Complete all as specified and as directed.
