REPAIRS/MAINT OF BITUMEN SURFACES OF RUNWAY AND RRS IN AIRFIELD AT TECH AREA IN AF STN GWALIOR

M&L for execution of Runway Rehabilition Scheme (RRS) within the time schedule as specified in particular specification and all as directed by Engineer-in-charge/GE/Air Force authorities. Note:- (i) The T&P, materials and manpower involved in the execution of RRS shall be measured and paid seperately in the respective items. (ii) Contractor will arrange tools, plants, labour and machinery as per CA for Runway Rehabilition Scheme (RRS) on short notice within 06 Hrs. Building material as per contract shall be stacked at designated place as directed by Engr-in-Charge. No Claim of contractor whatsoever shall be considered if deployed tools, plants, labour and machinery remain idle/static for three days at work due to any administrative reasons. Contractor will also arrange for testing equipments for carrying out field testing in accordance with relevant IS.

Supply and stacking of fine aggregate (river sand) sand near Runway inside Tech Area complete all as specifeid and directed.

Supply only Polyethylene film 400 micron thick near Runway inside Tech Area complete all as specifeid and directed.

Supply only 02 x Excavator (JCB, etc.) Machine with rock breaker Heavy Duty (with one driver & one helper) including Fuel inside Tech Area complete all as specifeid and directed.

Supply only 01 x Road Roller Vibration type (with one driver & one helper) including Fuel inside Tech Area complete all as specifeid and directed.

Supply only 01 x Front end Loader/Fork lifter (with one driver & one helper) including Fuel (min load carrying capacity 2.5 Ton) inside Tech area complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only 01 x Generator 5 KVA Trailer Mounted ( with one operator) including Fuel inside Tech Area complete all as specifeid and directed.

Supply only 04 x Tipper/Tractor Trolly (with one driver & one helper) including Fuel inside Tech Area complete all as specifeid and directed.

Supply only 01 x Crane 5/6 ton (with one driver & one helper) including Fuel inside Tech Area complete all as specifeid and directed.

Supply only 01 x lorry flat deck 10T (with one driver & one helper) including Fuel inside Tech Area complete all as specifeid and directed.

Providing the services of unskilled manpower for 8 Hrs for loading & unloading materials and execute the RRS complete all as specifed and directed.

Providing the services of Masons for 8 Hrs for executing the RRS complete all as specifed and directed.

M&L for preparation of un-surfaced Water Bound Macadam (WBM) or bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brush or removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt, etc. and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen) VG-10 @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm using mechanical sprayer etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150mm thick bituminious macadam laid in two layers (each 75mm thick consolidated thickness) using binder paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 4.5% by weight of total mix, mixed in automatic hot mix plant with design mix and laid by using self-propelled mechanical paver, consolidated thickness 75mm or less laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to achieve uniform smooth surface etc complete all as specified & directed. Note:-In the event of increase in percentage of binder content as per job mix formula, nothing extra shall be admissible and quoted rate are deemed to include for the same. However, in case bitumen requirement is less than 4.5% same shall be regularized as per actual mix design with minus adjustment of less bitumen @ Rs.50.00 per Kg.

M&L for 100 mm (consolidated thickness) dense asphaltic concrete laid in two layers (each layer 50 mm thick ) rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with binder content minimum 6% by weight of total mix and coarse aggregates (grading-II) including filler as specified VG-30 complete all as specified and directed. Note:-In the event of increase in percentage of binder content as per job mix formula, nothing extra shall be admissible and quoted rate are deemed to include for the same. However, in case bitumen requirement is less than 6.0% same shall be regularized as per actual mix design with minus adjustment of less bitumen @ Rs.50.00 per Kg.
