SPECIAL REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF RUSTED PRESSED STEEL OVER HEAD TANK AND CONNECTED WORKS AT RMS

Dismantling and taking down old unserviceable Pressed Steel plates of pressed steel overhead tank such as pressed steel sheets of any size, internal bracing nuts and bolts, top cover, angle iron channel, float and all water supply connections to tank of capacity 20000 Glns at 15/12 mtrs height and staking serviceable materials from site of work etc complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE -(i) Work has to be carried out at 15/12 mtrs height above ground level. (ii) All safety measurers for the labour to be provided by contractor.

All as per item No 01 (here-in-before) but of capacity 10000 Glns PSOH Tank

S & F in replacement of Pressed Steel (MS/GI) plate of size 1.25m x 1.25m x 6 mm thick fixed to PS overhead tank bottom and first layer including all jointing materials such as good quality rubber gasket, lead wool wire, black putty etc. To make the joints leak proof etc complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 04 (here-in-before) but 1.25m x 1.25m x 5 mm thick for second layer.

All as per item No 04 (here-in-before) but fixing only PS plate 5/6 mm thick including good quality rubber gasket, lead wool wire, black putty etc, to make the joints leak proof, including cutting/welding etc complete all as specified and as directed. (NOTE : Existing PS plate, nuts and bolts with washers which are retrieved item No 01&02 shall be re-used)

S&F mild steel angle size 65 mm x 65 mm x 6 mm for bracing supporting members of PS tank including cutting, welding, bending, drilling holes etc etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F mild steel angle size 50 mm x 50 mm x 6 mm for bracing supporting members of PS tank including cutting, welding, bending, drilling holes etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F mild steel rolled for size 20 mm for bracing supporting members of PS tank including cutting, welding, bending, drilling holes etc complete etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for mild steel sheet, 3.15mm thick as in top cover of PS overhead tank etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of painting new/old steel surfaces of PSOH tank internally (inside storage) applying two coats of hygienic bituninous paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chlorine and sealing surface previous treated with tar, bituminous compositions with one coat of knotting in preparation for painting suitable for drinking water purpose etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of old painted/new-steel surfaces by scrapping & painting of steel overhead tanks external surface by applying two coats of Aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer incl suitable staging etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of exisitng butterfly valves including all fittings for the following sizes etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth for laying of water supply pipe line n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out soft/loose soil etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in soft/loose soil etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material n exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5 m above the starting point etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for construciton of valve chamber of size 1050mm x 1050mm x 1000mm size internal size including earth PCC foundation 1:3:6 of thickness 15 CM under masonry in cement mortar 1:4 complete with MS angle Iron frame 40mm x 6 mm and to MS cover 3.0mm thick with hinges and locking arrangements and holdfast including plastering of internal wall surfaces with cement mortar of 1:4 of thickness 10mm and coping on top of brick masonry with PCC 1:4 and 20 mm grade stone aggregate with thickness 7.5 cm including painting of steel surfaces with two coats of black etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing CI/DI fitings such as Bends (any type, radius and angle) tappers any type (Straight, Bend, Increasing, decreasing or double sockets etc) Tee pieces single branches, 'Y' junctions, double branch cross (all socket or sockets end spigot) collars, caps and plugs complete of size up to 150 mm dia etc complete all as specified and as directed.
