Attending UGD Pumping Main leak at Various Places in Zone 2 in Kumbakonam City Municipal Corporation

Earth work excavation and depositing on bank with initial lead of 10 m and lift of 2 M in narrow trenches having bed width 1.25m & below for laying of pipes for water supply and sewerage works in the following type of soils as directed by Departmental officers

Dewatering using 3HP to 7.5HP diesel engine pumpset including Hire charges, cost of Diesel, Engine oil, pump operator, labour charges, conveyance of pumpset and fuel to site and back, loading, unloading and any other incidental charges etc., complete.

Removing the burst of 400 mm dia R.C.C.Pipes from the pipe line and removal of slushy soil and balling out water and replacing the pipe line with sound pipe including jointing and cost of refilling the pipe line with water for retesting the pipe line etc., complete.(excluding cost of sound pipe and jointing materials and earth work) and as directed by the Board Officers)

Supply and fixing of Ductile iron socket/ Spigot pipes for class K9 as per IS 8329/2000 including all cost and conveyance of all materials and labour charges etc.,for standard Specifications.

Lowering of D.I pipes and specials in the trenches and laying to proper grade and alignment and as directed by the Municipal Executive Engineer.(for depth upto 3 m)

Jointing the D.I-/S/S Pipes and specials with neat cement or cement mortar and spun yarn including caulking the joints, cuting ,(including cost of jointing materials) for depth upto 3 m.

Supplying and erecting centering for sides and soffits including supports and strutting upto 3.29m height for plane surfaces as detailed below in all floors with all cross bracings using mild steel sheets of size 90x60cm and BG 10 gauge stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25x25x3mm for boarding laid over silver oak joists of size 10x6.50cm spaced at about 90cm c/c and supported by casurina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at not less than 75cm c/c aat suitable intervals etc., complete in all floors for complying with standard specifications and as directed. The payment for centering shall be made only after the concrete laid. The retrieved materials should be taken back by the contractor.

Vibrated cement concrete of grade M30 grade design mix using ISS HBG metal including cost and conveyance of all materials to site including cost of cement at site excluding cost and fabrication of steel but from work and centering soft water labour charges for mixing transporting placing in position , vibrating and compacting finsishing ans curing concrete , working of heights hire charges for tools and plants including all other incidental charges etc., complete as per standard specification.

Providing , Laying spreading and compacting grading aggregates to WET MIX MECADAM specification in 150mm thick including premixing the mateirals with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant , cariage of mixed materials by tipper to work site laying in uniform layers in sub base/base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to acheive the desired density including cost of materials, labour charges rental for machinary, fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete as per clause 406 of MORTH .
