Major overhauling of 145 KV SF-6 Circuit Breaker of ABB make spring type installed at bays at 132 KV Sub-station, Shrimaui. The work includes overhauling of control block assembly. Opening latch, anti pumping assembly. Opening, cleaning & greasing of motor charging system, replacement of worn out parts. Checking of shock absorber, closing damper etc. adjustment of all gaps, cleaning & greasing of leavers, connecting rods, CAM, Disc. CAM etc, checking of machanism assembly for wear & tear, rectification/ repairing of worn out parts. Chcking of limit switch, power contact, auxiliary contractors for proper functioning. Checking and re-tighting of all electrical connections, checking of gas leakage from copper pipe assembly of gas system, measurement of closing tripping time of Circuit Breaker, measurement of contact resistance of Circuit Breaker. Repairing/Rectification and general overhauling of 36 KV VCB of CGL/ABB /STELMEC/SIEMENS make circuit breakers at 132 KV Substations:- Work consists of repairing/ Rectification of non functioning and general overhauling of Complete spring charging mechanism assembly of 36 KV VCB of CGL/Shreem/Siemens/ Stelmec/ ABB make C.B., cleaning, greasing of horizontal rod assembly, checking and tightening of all electrical connection in the terminal block, dismantling of spring charging mechanism parts, cleaning, greasing and its proper adjustment, opening close/trip coil assembly, cleaning its plunger and adjustment its plunger air gap, checking spring charging motor, replacement of its carbon brushes wherever required, finally checking smooth operation of closing/tripping of the breaker both by local and remote.
