Earth work in excavation in ordinary soil exclusive of compensation of earth. Kassi work undressed involving an average horizontal throw upto 2 meters, and an average vertical lift upto 0.5 meter including breaking of clods. Excavated earth may be reused on berms and disposed off surplus earth with all lead and lift including dressing complete in territorial as per direction of Engineer-in-charge will be incidental to work and nothing will be paid. Construction of sub grade upto 500 mm in dismantled road portion by MC at RD 0.00 to 1.050 km with soil of minimum CBR 8 % (4 days soaked) of obtained from borrow area with any lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305. The finished road surface will be as per X-section approved by engineer the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than the actual quantity (less than 1470 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 1470 cum, then only 1470 cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. However, typical X-section attached section-5 of DNIT.

Disposal of excavated/surplus earth work with all lead and lift including loading unloading complete in all respect as desired by the Engineer-in-charge. (HSR 5.2b+4.1a)

Providing and laying 150 mm thick granular sub base consisting of filter layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading - VI of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Providing & laying 150 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-I) 63 to 45mm gauge wearing coat to Water Bound Macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type 'B' compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications of road & bridges (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respect. Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (S.S. grade-1) on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 Kg/sqm using mechanical means as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer-in-Charge complete in all respects as per clause No. 502. Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing & Laying 50 mm thick compacted Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam (DBM) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 505 MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th edition) 2013 using minimum 4.50% to bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respect including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 4.50% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work.(NS) Note:- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and noting extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-Charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.

Providing & Laying 30 mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and with pneumatic tyred roller of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 MPA and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013 for road and bridge works (5th Revision)2013 using minimum 5.4% to bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects including cost of bitumen in0struction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Providing and laying 100 mm thick Dry Lean Cement Concrete Sub –Base Construction of dry lean Cement Concrete M-10 sub base over a prepared sub grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS 383 the size if course aggregate not exceeding 25 mm aggregate cement ratio not to be exceed 15:1 aggregate gradation after blending to be as per table 600-1of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) cement content not to be less than 150 kg/ cum optimum moisture content to be determined during trail length construction, concrete strength not to be less than as 10 MPA at 7 days mixed in the batching plant transported to site laid with a paver compacting with 5-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing as per clause 601 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition ) 2013. Note: - If cement contents are required more than 150 Kg. per cum to achieve strengthening it will be incidental to work and nothing shall be payable on this account.

Providing and laying 300 mm cement concrete of un-reinforced, dowel jointed, plain cement concrete pavement M-40 over a prepared sub base with 43 grade cement @ minimum 400 Kg. per cum, coarse and fine aggregate not exceeding 25mm, mixed in a batching and mixing plant as per approved mix design, transported to site, laid with a fixed form or slip form paver, spread, compacted and finished in a continuous operation including provision of contraction, expansion, construction and longitudinal joints, joint filler, separation membrane, sealant primer, joint sealant, debonding strip, dowel bar, tie rod, admixtures as approved, curing compound, finishing to lines and grades as per drawing and MoRT&H specification No.602. 5th edition 2013 (NS) Note: - Minimum cement contents shall be equal to 400 Kg. per cum of concrete. If job mix formula required more it shall be incidental to work and nothing shall be payable on this account.

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflectorzing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads .the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note:- Before start of work the contractor shall give brand , batch no. , manufacturing date of the material to be used and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Preparation of berm (LHS) including filling of Earth work, excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift, but including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section attached at DNIT at Section -5. Note:-No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.
