Providing and fixing 60 mm thick glazed fire resistant door shutters of 120 min Fire Rating confirming to IS:3614 (Part II) or EN1634-1:1999, tested and certified as per laboratory approved by Engineer-in-charge, with suitable mounting on door frame, consisting of vertical styles, top rail & side rail 60 mm x 60 mm wide and bottom rail of 110 mm x 60 mm made out of 1.6mm thick G.I. sheet (zinc coating not less than 120gm/m²) duly filled mineral wool insulation having density min 96 kg/m³ and fixing with necessary stainless steel ball bearing hinges of size 100x89x3mm of approved make, including applying a coat of approved fire resistant primer or powder coating not less than 30 micron etc all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (panelling to be paid for seperately).
Providing and fixing glazing in fire resistant door shutters, fixed panels & partitions etc., with G.I. beading made out of 1.6 mm thick G.I. sheet (zinc coating not less than 120 gm/m²) of size 20 x 33 mm screwed with M4 x 38 mm SS screws at distance 75 mm from the edges and 150 mm c/c , including applying a coat of approved fire resistant mer/powder coating of not less than 30 micron on G.I. beading, & special ceramic tape of 5 x 20 mm size etc. complete in all respect as per NBC 2016, IS 16231 (Part 3):2016 and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge with glass of required thickness having 120 minutes of fire resistance both integrity & radiation control (EW120) and minimum 20 minutes of insulation (EI20). The manufacturer have to give test report/certification of fire glass and the glass should have the stamp showing the value of E, EW & EI. The glass shall be tested in approved NABL accredited lab or by any other accreditation body which operates in accordance with ISO/IEC 17011 and accredits labs as per ISO/IEC 17025 for testing and calibration scopes shall be eligible. The maximum glazing size shall not be more than 1100x2200 mm (w x h) or 2.42 sqm.

Supplying and installation of moisture resistant/fire resistant 6 mm thick Heavy duty fiber cement board (High pressure steam cured) conforming to IS 14862:2000 of category III type B as per standard sizes fixed with self-drilling / taping screws. Screws shall be of counter sunk rib head of 1.60mm to 4 mm thick of 8 to 10 gauge of length varying from 25 to 45 mm.
Providing and fixing roofing consist of 0.8 mm thick galvanized steel deck sheet confirming to IS 277:1992 used as permanent shuttering over which MS wire mesh 3mm laid at 100x100 mm grid including edge trim covered with concrete. This metal deck will be supported on structural steel beam with shear studs. (Structural steel like Beam, column, joists etc. & concrete of different grade as per design will be paid separately).

Scope of work
LGSFS shall be constructed over rooftop RCC slab/columns of first floor along with dome or Architectural features as per Architectural drawing. Thickness of RCC slab 125mm & water proofing treatment 100mm may be considered for designing LGSFS. Item includes the concept design, detail design & drawing, fabrication of sections, transportation, installation and required all fixing arrangement as per manufacturer specifications but excluding RCC slab & water proofing treatment.
LGSFS frame shall be designed as per latest IS 801, IS 875 using commercially available software such as Frame CAD pro-11.7/STADD PRO-V8I/ArchiteckV2.5.16/Revit Architecture2011 or equivalent latest version. Supplier will get verified all drawings duly vetted with the design report and signed by IIT/NIT /approved Govt. Engineering College and will be responsible for correctness, strength and stability of the structure. Any changes will be timely intimated to the Engineer-In-Charge or his representative in writing, the Design Basis report, stability reports duly examined and issued by any NIT/IIT/approved Govt. Engineering College need be re-submitted.
Structural Members.
Structural Frame, Trusses and Purlins. Structural frame for wall studs, bracings, runners, platforms, roof truss and purlins etc shall be made of cold rolled light gauge steel (LGS) of thickness minimum 0.75 mm to 1.2 mm and above as per design requirements with minimum 350 MPa of yield strength confirming to AISI specifications and IBC 2009 for cold formed steel framing and also as per IS: 875, IS 801. The steel shall be galvanized (AZ-150 gms Aluminium Zinv Alloy coated steel having minium yield strength (300-550 Mpa) as per applicable Indian or international standards. The structure shall have pre-punched service holes, dimple holes, web notches, lip cuts etc for trusses and wall frames and purlins. All joints of profiles struts and purlins shall be joined properly. All connecting angles, plates, bracings etc will be in galvanized steel made out of 0.75/0.9/1.0/1.2/3/4 mm sheets depending on the design.
Design load, Design combination and construction – As per latest IS 875, IS 11503, IS 13920 and IS 456. Note : Main Design Codes. Steel Structures are designed according to following codes :- Whole structure will be designed as light gauge steel structure and mild steel if required as per the design. The structure will be designed in accordance with the relevant Indian Code of Practice for civil works i.e. IS: 456, IS: 800, IS 801, IS: 875, IS: 11503-2002, IS: 4326-1976, IS-811 and IS -13920-1993, The structure will be designed for all possible combinations of gravity loads (dead and live loads), and lateral loads (earthquake load and wind loads) as per relevant IS codes – design criteria.) Cold Formed members are designed in accordance with the 1996 edition of the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI):”Cold Formed Steel Design Manual”. All welding is done in accordance with the Structural Welding Code-Steel.
Manufacturing dimensional tolerances are in accordance with the relevant IS codes. In case of absence of relevant code, higher international codes will be applicable.

Fasteners. All steel bolts, nuts, washers complying relevant IS codes. Self drilling screws complying with relevant IS codes shall be used .
Structural columns and beams. ISMB/boxed ISMC/built up sections/rolled tube sections shall be used with appropriate base plate and foundation bolts using where ever required as per designloads. Beams and all structural members shall be in MS/built up sections. (Relevant details shall be submitted as per design).
Hot rolled steel. Hot rolled steel sections complying to IS: 2062 with minimum yield strength of 250 MPa shall be used in the areas where use of LGS is not sufficient from the loading criteria with the prior intimation and approval of Engineer-in-Charge.
Base Plate at Foundation/roof top. Size and thickness of base plate shall be as per design requirement. ( If required as per design )
Foundation/roof top Bolts. Size, length and numbers for foundation/roof bolts shall be as per design requirement. The bolts must be made from 4.6 grade steel and minimum length of threads should be 100 mm. Each foundation/roof bolt will be provided with MS anchor plate shall be as per design requirement.
The item includes usage of connection accessories like heavy duty tension ties, light duty holdowns, twist straps etc for better structural stability. Sufficient provisions should be made in the structure for fixing door-windows, partitions, sunshades, sanitary installations, electrical fittings and fixtures, geysers etc. The sections should be with dimples for flush screw fixing to assemble the section at site and should be suitable for concealed wiring/ plumbing system. The structural framing system to be securely fixed to the civil structural foundation system. Structural Columns and Beams (Portal) – ISMB / boxed ISMC/rolled tube sections shall be used with appropriate base plate and foundation bolts using approved epoxy materials. Beams and all structural members shall be in MS/ Built up sections.
Providing and fixing wooden finish with brown base profile or as approved color, uPVC cacement window with two openable sashes with top fully fixed ventilator frame of high impact modified grade uPVC of 45mm x 50mm (outer frame) and sash of 78mm x 45mm, wall thickness of profile must be min 1.8 ± 0.3 mm, which shall be manufactured from Tropicalized blend with TiO2 and required additives. profile must be colorfast and conform to standard EN12608. The profile sections should have multi hollow (min 2 to 3 chambers) chamber to include GI reinforcement with 120 GSM zinc coated, fitted in continuous length in closed chamber. The thickness of GI should be able to meet the wind load requirement as per IS 875-Part III on sash/mullion. Supplier should be submitting wind load calculation & validation complying with IS 875-III before material supply (minimum steel reinforcement thickness of 1.2mm to 2.5mm). UPVC Windows & Doors must be fabricated with fusion welded corners. The welded corner shall be machineg screws shall be calculated in accordance to weight of arch and actual site fixing conditions. Vendor shall submit shop drawings.
Aadequate Water drainage / ventilation slot should be provided in sash / frames. NOTE:- 1)The Copper Piping & Piping Circuit should be with Minimum Number of joints, which shall be attained by : (i) Using One End Expanded Tubes (ii) Bending the tubes instead of using elbow joints wherever 90 degree bending is required. (2) Piping should be routed at site in such a manner, that brazed joints in the refrigeration piping are kept to a minimum. (3) The makes of tube fittings shall be same as that of tubes. (4) The thickness of fittings used shall be same as that of the pipe.
