Replacement of wornout 200 mm ND Rising main by 250 ND MS Pipe and 250 mm NRV at LIS Dar Mohalla

Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc in all kinds of soil including excavation for sockets and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m Pipes etc. exceeding 80 mm dia. but not exceeding 300 mm dia One excavation(70 Mtr) is reuired to retreive the old pipes and other run of excavation is required to lay new pipe as the old pipes are laid close to boundary wall of private house.

Gas cutting of 200 mm ND pipes in 4.5 Mtr (peices) after reteriving the pipes from the excavated trenches and then stacking of the same for easy handling and loading along the roadside

Loading of stacked pipes in truck at Dar Mohalla Ganderbal using manual labour and then unloading at Gogjibagh srinagar store premises.The job needs to be carried out in night hours as trucks are allowed to ply in night hours only.

Mechanical transportation, loading, unloading and handling of above retreived old stacked pipe lengths using truck or similar load carrier to Subdivisional store at Gogjibagh and proper stacking at store. The job needs to be carried out in night hours as trucks are allowed to ply in night hours only.

Fabrication, providing, installation ,testing & commissioning of Mild steel pipe of 250 mm nominal dia. with 6 mm wall thickness to be laid as rising main at LIS Dar Mohalla.The pipes shall be end to end welded to each other in two circumfrential runs to provide a complete leakproof arrangement. The offsets in the scope of laying the pipe are covered in the job . The job includes proper laying of pipe as per:- i. Nominal dia. = 250mm ii. Wall thickness = 6 mm iii. Quality of Mild steel to be used for manufacture of pipes = As per BIS-226 Or BIS-2026 iv. Type of welding = ERW v. Pipe to be manufactured as per BIS-3589-1981 vi. Maximum circumferential joints in each pipe length = 2-3

Fabrication, providing & installation of 250mm dia. Mild steel long Bend to be welded to rising main whre ever required . The bend shall be fabricated out of 6 mm thick M.S pipe. i. Nominal dia. = 250mm ii. Wall thickness = 6 mm iii. Quality of Mild steel to be used for manufacture of pipes = As per BIS-226 Or BIS-2026 iv. Type of welding = ERW v. Pipe to be manufactured as per BIS-3589-1981 vi. Maximum circumferential joints in each pipe length = 2-3

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade including curing but excluding the cost of centring and shuttering. All work upto plinth level with: 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)

Supply, installation, testing and commisioning of DI NRV of 250 mm of pressure ration PN 1.6 as per IS 5312(Part 1):2004 with latest amendments and flange connections as per IS 1538. ( Make : Kirloskar/ VAG)

Fabrication of by pass arrangement for 250 mm dia NRV as under:- Creating holes of 25 mm using gas cutter. Providing and fitting of 25 mm dia steel pipe heavy class of required length alongwith 2 No elbows. Providing and fitting of 01 No SS Ball valve 25 mm of reputed make. The job also includes providing,welding & fitting of 250mm ND Flanges of matching Pitch and thickness with NRV.The job also includes proving, welding and fitting of 250 mm ND flange of matching pitch and thickness to pump discharge.
