Amount

i) Planting of saplings in pits of size 45cmx45cmx45cm within the available blanks of identified site including carriage of plants from different nurseries of Forest Department by mechanical transport within a maximum lead of 100 Kms and headload carriage including loading and unloading upto site of work with all operations as per break up given hereunder: Note: Plant material will be supplied departmentally. ii) Sowing of superior variety of grass/legume seeds in patches. It includes: a) Digging of patches of soil of size 135cmx45cmx15cm in staggered manner along the contours. b) Breaking of clods into manageable sizes. c) Removal of weeds, stones, roots etc. d) Making of smooth surface of broken soil of the patch. e) Sowing of grass/ legume seeds in the patches. f) Covering the sown grass/legume seeds smoothly with a thin layer of soil. g) Making a water harvesting structure by raising a burm like structure on bottom of the patch/ slope. iii) Bush clearance of the site in which sowing and planting operations are to be carried out. Note:- Plants and Seeds shall be supplied departmentally. (03 grams per patch). Area to be treated 10 Ha. Location: Co.21b/K-1 Natnusa Kupwara
