Restoration of Kumarganj embankment from the flood damages of river Gangadhar on its L/B.

Filling of geotubes (25m long and 10m circumference) with sand of volume 176 cum by using mud pump not below the fill height of 1.60 m as per drawing and technical specification, binding the tube with 9mm nyion rope to jati bamboo pegs of length 2m placed 5m c/c along both sides of the tube and at both ends to keep the tube in position during filling, as specified and directed including all loading, unloading and handling charges and local carriage upto a distance of 250M, pumping slurry using mud pump from a distance upto 500m, etc. including setting up of the tube laying platform, complete as directed.

Uprooting bamboo clumps where bamboo already removed including removing stumps to a minimum distance of 30 m etc, complete as directed.

Earth work in embankment by Tractor-trailer carriage by Mechanical means with locally available ordinary/ normal soil excluding sandy and rocky soil free from roots & vegetation and filling in uniform layers not exceeding 25 cm thick including ploughing or roughening or benching the seats, removing all debris, breaking clods up to 4 cm cube, dressing as per design section and compaction with three wheel static roller of 80-100 KN capacity in layers not exeeding 30 cm thickness and core cutter soil test at every layer and every 500 m distance, etc complete as directed. For initial Lead up to 1.00 Km for all lifts. For beyond initial 1 Km & upto 10.00 Km & for all lifts. Total Lead=2 KM

Turfing with grass sods of largest possible rectangles of 12 cm. minimum thickness placed closely including dressing earth pegging with Jati bamboo split, watering till the grass grows for a lead up to 90m and all lifts, etc. complete as directed
