Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 metres below normal ground level with top edge of the plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected with and including GI strip 32mm x 6mm and including GI pipe 40mm bore light grade as protection pipe (from top of earth plate up to the test point) by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI and thimbles, earth plate surrounded by packed layers of charcoal dust and common salt 15cm thick, all around including top and bottom and watering pipe 20mm bore of GI pipe light grade with funnel and wire mesh, PCC chamber of size 300x300x300mm in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) (top of chamber minimum 15 cm above the normal and RCC cover (1:2:4) type B-I (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) of 25mm thick with 2 Nos MS handles of 12mm dia including necessary excavation/ earth work in any type of soil/rock and as shown in Electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) and testing on completion complete all as specified. Note:- (a) The unit rate shall include for protection pipe, GI water pipe, wire mesh, funnel and excavation. RCC pit cover, test point, GI strip 32x6mm from top of earth plate upto 7.5 metre above ground level and if GI protection pipe is less than 5 metre, no price adjustment shall be made. (b) PCC pit shall be provided at least 50 cm away from the earth pit and not just on the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fittings, junction, elbow etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (c) If the testing result of earthing resistance is not been found satisfactory then the contractor shall do other earthing work at his own cost and nothing shall be permissible on this account. (d) Earthing work will be carried out in presence of MES representative.

Supply and fixing HT jumper of existing two/four pole structure of transformer etc using 95 Sqmm single core aluminium cable conductor heavy duty , including PG clamp nut, bolts, thimbles and washers etc as required at site all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Supply and fixing HT cable route indicator of Cast iron not less than 100 mm dia fixed through welding angle iron supoort of size 35 mm x 35mmx5mm thick ,50 cm long including two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer planted in a PCC block of size 30 cm x30cm x 30 cm (PCC 1:3:6), The whole assembly of PCC iron will be planted in ground upto 30 cm complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fix Danger notice plate for HT11 KV of 25 cm x 20 cm x 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet viterous enameled white, with letters figures and conventional skull and bones and written as "DANGER" in signal red colour and fixed MS clamps made out of MS flat 25 mm x 3mm, including nuts & bolts, including 2 coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified. Note:- Instructions are to be written in three languages viz.. Punjabi, Hindi and English.
(xiv) Aux control wiring shall not be less than 2.5 Sqmm copper FRLS with ferrules and numbers to be provided Suitable digital ammeter , voltmeter and MF M shall be provided in the panel. (xv) The VCB enclosure shall be type tested for E2/C2 /M2 class (xvi) Copper bus bar 630 A with PVC sleeve (xvii) Epoxy resin cast 1-Ph CT 200-100/5-5A, CL-1/5P10, Burden -15 VA (for all incoming VCB s) (xviii)Epoxy resin cast 1-Ph CT 100-50/5-5A, CL-1/5P10, Burden -15 VA (forall outgoing 7 VCB (3 new + 4 Old VCB s) (xix) Relays : Numerical relay 50/S1/SON/51N communicable, Non Drawn out , IEC103/MODBUS,CGI14C for all 10 X VCBs ( 3 incomer VCBs, 3 X outgoing VCB and 4 old VCBs supplied by Deptt). (xx) Auxiliary relay for transformer (3 Elements), Master trip relay, Trip circuit supervision relay. (xxi) Power Pack for all VCB as per OEM recommendation Note : (i) VCB Panel shall be designed, manufactured and supplied by OEM only. Panels from System houses or channel partner of OEM will not be accepted . (ii) New VCB shall be provided matching with the existing VCBs. (In case VCB of other make is being provided matching shall be done by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt). (iii) The VCB enclosure shall meet the requirement of configuration of type tested of OEM. Type test should not be more than seven years old, reckoned from date of opening in respect of the following tests carried out from Govt./Govt. approved test house. (a) Lightning impulse voltage test. (b). Power frequency voltage test. ( c). Temperature rise test. (d) Temperature rise on main circuit. (e) Short time withstand current and withstand current test. (f) Internal Arc test 0.1 sec for circuit Breaker chamber, Bus bar chamber and CT & cable chamber. (g) Copy of test certificates of similar panel shall be submitted during approval of drawing.
(h) Rate for minor civil work required for cable trench to suit the site requirement as per VCB panel installation is deemed to be included in quoted rate. (j) The scope consists of 3 Nos. VCBs as incommer two bus couplers and three outgoing VCB as outgoing to be provided new in this job and 4 VCBs to be fixed from existing Sub Station panel including provision for Bus Bar compartment as needed. (k) The overcurrent and earth fault relay shall be UL listed, CE marked suitable for 24 to 250V DC, suitable for CT ratio of 200/100/5 Amps, with current setting of 0.01 to 8 ION, with modbus of make-Schneider (Micom P-141)/ Siemens (7SR 210)/ ABB (FEF-615).
Taking out carefully and manually HT Cable any size and connected items for relaying the same after testing at various locations as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) Earth work (Excavation, returning filling, removal) will be carried out manually and cost thereof deemed to be inclusive in rates quoted by the contractor. (ii) HT cable, PCC covers, bricks, sand and GI pipe extracted from excavation of HT cable will be stacked properly for issue of reuse (quantity of serviceable item will be decided by BOO detailed by CWE) and unserviceable item will be taken on ledger charge and issued to contractor as Sch of credit as decided by BOO detailed by CWE. (iii) Additional quantity of items required for relaying of above HT cable will be measured & paid separately under respective items. (iv) HT cable will be relayed after testing and satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge and approved by BOO detailed by CWE
Taking up or down old HT Cable of any size (approx size 95-240 sqmm ) , including removal of connected protection GI pipes etc , excavation of the trench, removal of cable and then refilling of trenches complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes - (i) The rate of excavation, returning, refilling is included in the quoted rate of this item . (ii) The PCC cable covers / bricks and GI protection pipes will be considered under sch of credit (iii) Quantity of unserviceable items i.e. HT cable, PCC covers, bricks, sand & GI pipe will be decided by BOO detailed by CWE.
Material and labour for boring hole under the road/pavements/hard standing with the help of trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine including HDPE DWC pipe of 150 mm dia suitable for not less than one metre below ground level complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Design, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 11KV, 630A, minimum 21KA for 3 sec, SF6 insulated, motorised operated , Outdoor, Non-extensible 5 Way Ring Main Units (2 Nos Load Break Switch for incomer 3 nos SF6 Circuit Breaker for Outgoing ), type tested in line with latest IEC standards. The RMU shall be suitable for operations at a height up to 1000 meters above sea level and upto 50 degree ambient temperature without any derating. The RMU shall be provided wiht a stainless steel enclosure filled with SF6 at a relative pressure ≥ 0.3 bar. The RMU tank shall provide full insulation, making the switchgear insensitive to the environment with degrees of protection of IP67 . The switchgear operating mechanism shall have an IP2X protection and cable chamber shall have IP3X. The outer enclosure should be IP 54 type tested, should be powder coated with pure polyester based paint, suitable for the site installation conditions. Accidental overpressure due to an internal arc is limited by the opening of the safety valve, at the bottom of the metal enclosure, away from the operator. Each of the above Ring Main Unit shall comprise of the followings: A. Load Break Switch (LBS) each comprising of the following: (a) 11 KV, 630A, min 21kA Motorised operated Load break switch; with built in earth switch. (b) Mechanical position Indicator (On/Earthed/Off) live cable indicator. (c) CT with ratio 50/1A 2.5 VA, CL-1 for metering . (d) Fault passage indicator (FPI). (e) Provision for cable termination bushes suitable for 1 Run and upto 3 core X 300 sqmm cable. (f) Cable termination cover Boots suitable for cable size up to 1Rx3Cx300 sq.mm cable (Push on Type). (g) Provision for synchronisation of phases be provided. Note: LBS shall have 3 positions, open or disconnected, closed and earthed, and will be constructed in such a way that interlocking prevents unauthorized operations. Manual opening and closing will be driven by a fast-acting /snap action mechanism, independent of operator action. LBS and earth switch shall have a min of 1000 (M1) mechanical operations, 100 electrical operations at rated current. Earth switch shall have 05 Nos operations at reated short circuit current. Both the incomer Load Break Switch should be interlocked. B. SF6 Circuit Breaker each comprising of the following: (a) 11 KV, 630A, 21kA VCB with motorised spring charged mechanism, trip and close coil. (b) Manually operated 630 Amp disconnect or with built in each switch. (c) Mechanised Position indicator .
(d) Self powered 3 O/C + 1 E/F protection Relay. (e) CT with ratio 50/1 A, Class 5P10, 2.5VA for protection. (f) Live cable indicator with indications (Voltage Presence Indicator) at the front and three inlets provision to check the synchronization of phases. (g) Cable termination bushing suitable for 1 run size upto 3Cx300 Sq mm, XLPE cable. (h) Cable termination cover Boots suitable for cable size upto 1Rx3Cx300 sq.mm. cable (Push on Type). (j) The rated voltage shall be 12 KV and operating voltage shall be 11 KV. Note: The circuit breakers shall have 2 positions: open or disconnected and closed. A separate and independent 3 position earthing switch and disconnect or shall be fitted to open and earth the cables in such way that interlocks prevent all unauthorized operations. The operating mechanism for charging of circuit breaker required at least 7 to 8 up down operations. An independent mechanism shall be fitted for the 3 positions earthing switch and disconnect or Circuit breaker shall be fitted with a local system for manual tripping by an integrated push button. There will be no automatic reclosing. Circuit breaker shall have a min of 2000 mechanical and electrical operations and 25 nos. dead Short Circuit operations. Disconnect or and earth switch shall have a min of 1000 (M1) mechanical operations , 100 electrical operations at rated current and 5 nos operations at rated SC current. Out of three outgoings SF6 Circuit Breaker one will act Bus sectionaliser/ Bus coupler. Additional notes: (a) RMU degree of protection shall be IP54 for outer enclosure and IP67 for SF6 tank. (b) The make of vacuum interrupter should be of the same make as the Ring Main units. (c) An operator situated in front, lateral and rear (A-FLR 21kA – 1sec, downwards exhaust, for tank as well as cable compartment) of the RMU switchboard during an internal fault will not be exposed to the effects of arcing. Internal Arc Type Test Report for IAC AFLR 21 kA for 1 sec for both tank & cable box should have been for minimum 3 way / 3 Function RMU. (d) All operations shall be from front of the RMU, including access to cable bushings. (e) Bus Bar should be of Copper Common Items and Accessorised for RMU: (1) Manometer with green and red zone for indication pressure of gas inside the tank filled on RMU. (2) Provision for Pad locking for open, close , earth position in correct sequence. (3) Battery + Battery Charger 7 AH, I/P 230 V AC, O/P 24V DC. (Loc -Near stn house-01 no, Bhangra Chowk-01 no.)
Dismantling electrically and mechanically carefully for refixing after shifting at new place incl assembling HT VCB / Bus coupler of suitable capacity /size incl all necessary PCC work, trench work as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. (Location : Sata Bty Sub stn to Bhangra chowk & Sata Bty Sub Stn to IB feeder)
Supply and lay DWC pipe 150mm dia bore ISI marked suitable for HT cables including fitting and fixture all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
Supply and fixing in true vertical position steel tubular poles 11.0 M long complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws, type 410 SP-55, conforming to relevant IS, including one primer coat of red oxide and two coats of aluminium paint and two coats of bituminous paint inside and out side of bottom portion up to 1.8 mtr length all as specified and provide circular bend 1 No of width 2 cm complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Excavation and earth work is included in quoted rate. (ii) Foundation concrete and PCC coping shall be measured and paid separately.
Material and labour for Structural steel work as in cross arms, bracing, supports, chequered plates for trenches, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections, including, nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat, one finishing coat of aluminium paint and epoxy coating sufficient for 11KV insulation complete all as specified and directed.
Supplying and laying synthetic rubber insulated mats 2.5 mm thick for voltage upto 11 KV for electrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006, (superseding IS 5424) suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2m x 1m complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for earthing lead connected to galvanised earth strip 32 X 6 mm size by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts & washers of galvanised iron or steel all as specified and directed
Excavating in trenches in soft/ loose soil not exceeding 1.50 metre wide and not exceeding 1.50 metre in depth for foundation for pipes, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, cables etc not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.50 metre in depth and getting out complete all as specified and directed.
