SPL REPAIR TO ROADS AND PATHS AT ANAND PARBAT, TIMARPUR, SAKURBASTI, HIRANKUNDA, SALARIA ENCLAVE, VRC, YOGENDRA VIHAR, BANA SINGH, ANUJ VIHAR, 16 KUMAON, 18 GRENADIERS, HQ IDS, E-IN-C BRANCH, TARAPORE ENCLAVE AND OTHER CONNECTED ROADS UNDER GE P EAST

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 Sqm and n. exc 50mm deep complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 Sqm and n. exc 50mm deep complete all as specified and directed.

Material, laying & compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) in two layers 75 mm each Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading (each layer to be rolled and consolidated separately) as per table 400-13 of MORTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with 8 to 10 ton vibratory power roller over compacted sub grade surface as specified in 406.3.5 of MORTH specifications and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note : The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MORTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013.

Preparing unsurfaced WMM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing cacked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirts etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 10 kg per 10 sqm on WMM surface and preparation of surface, complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly tack coat with using paving bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm on prepared black top surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Premix bituminous macadam with 4% paving using bitumen VG-30 paving grade (50 -70 penetration) bitumen binder, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness upto maximum 75 mm) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed asphaltic dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen VG-40 with 6% binder content by weight of total mix, with hydrated lime filter 2% using mechanical paver with string sensor with Marshal stability 9.0 KN at 60º C laid by mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient to achieve a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed asphaltic dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen VG-40 with 6%. binder content by weight of total mix with hydrrated lime filler 2% using mechanical paver with string sensor with marshal stability 9.0 KN at 60º C laid by mechnical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using Tandem vibratory steel wheel static steel wheel and pneumatic tyre rollers min capacity 12 tonne, complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (a) Preparation of mix in hot mix plant, spreading by self propelling mechanical paver and rolling and compaction by set of rollers as specified in particular specifications and directed by Engineer in Charge shall be carried out. (b) Hot mix plant may be installed at any distance as directed by Engineer in Charge but the contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the required temperature of mix under all conditions till it is laid and compacted. (c) Unit rate for these items shall include for carrying out the works with deployment of these machinery for which nothing extra shall be payable and no delay in completion of work shall be acceptable on this account.
