Scarifying or picking graveled or bituminous macadam surface of area n.exc 400 Sqm and depth n.exc 100mm removing material and stacking complete all as specified.

Material and labour for 7.5cm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregate granite, trap, basalt of grading 2 (63 to 40mm) spread rolled and consolidated to gradient, materials and camber as required including rolling with 8 to 12 tonne power roller.

Material and labour for Premixed Bituminous macadam from hot mix plant with 4% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of grade VG-30, laid with Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of Black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked, mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

NOTE: Minimum Bitumen content shall be 4.5% as specified here in above if the actual quantity of bitumen to be incorporated on approval of Mix-Design is found more than the minimum bitumen content specified above, No price adjustment shall be made for actual bitumen content of Mix-Design.

Material and labour for Repairs to pot holes exceeding 30 mm depth, area not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen @ 5kg /10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with liquid seal coat with binder 9.8 kg per/10 Sqm blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and consolidated including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for providing 2.5mm thick road marking Strips, Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc (Retro-reflective) of specified shade / colour, using hot thermoplastic material with fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surfaces including necessary T&P, including cleaning the road surface off all dirt, scales, oil, grease and foreign materials etc. complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Supply and fix Dual directional CAT Eyes (Road Studs) of size 110mmx126mmx29.5mm made out of ABS (Astronitrilite Butadiene Styrene) engineering plastic dynamically designed having high impact strength and fitted with 2 nos highly reflective reflectors panel of Amber, Red or white on both sides, approximately 248 gram weight fixed with suitable adhesive conforming to relevant IS and all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Material and labour for precast concrete blocks for kerb stone with solid block exceeding 10 cm in width type C-1 , 1:3:6 ( using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) set in CM 1:6 of any shape and size as approved by Garrison Engineer, including necessary excavation and earth work including returning filling in the earth and removal of surplus earth from site if any, kerb stone shall be fixed in true line and level or in curves for edging of road side path including embedding PCC pre cast block in ground to any depths as required and tamping soil around PCC blocks complete .

Material and labour for Preparation of New or previously untreated concrete surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of Synthetic enamel paint (Ordinary tint) over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed.
