Note : All unserviceable materials obtained out of demolition/dismantling/taking down (other than those for which credit catered under Schedule of credit) shall be disposed of outside MoD Land. Quoted rates against respective item shall deemed to include for same.

B/R ITEMS Demolition of brick work/ block masonry or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facing dressed stone work and precast concrete articles and removal all rubbish material complete all as specified directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) in roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircase, landings, chajjas and similar suspended work complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster any description, on brick or stone walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water, etc. & removing rubbish off the premises, complete all as directed.

Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness size quality or description) from wooden frames or stone concrete or brick surrounds, glazed with putty or fixed with beeds complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down steel tubing and connections alongwith bib tap, stop cocks and other fittings including cleaning for refixing or removal complete all as specified and directed :-

S & F 20mm thick second class hardwood boarding planed one side with butt joints as in eaves board fixed with nails in any situation (except flooring and skirting) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for use & waste of Form work to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landing horizontal or slopping similar work not. exc 200mm thick for flat fair finished surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for second class hard wood plain, solid, straight chowkhats and frames, wrought, framed rebated on the solid, rounded or chamfered, put together with glue pinned at joints complete all as specified and directed.

S & F 35mm thick glazed and skeleton door shutters open rebated of second class hard wood rail and styles, prepared to receive glass/gauge etc without sash bars, edges of framing plain chamfered or rounded, fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass/gauge etc. The size of rails & style as specified in SSR Part-I (2009) section 8 and as per IS-1003(Part-I). Wood used shall be kiln seasoned as per IS-1141 and chemically pressure treated as per IS-401 complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- S & F Glass/gauge shall be measured and paid for separately)

S & F 25mm thick glazed and skeleton door shutters open rebated of second class hard wood rail and styles, prepared to receive glass/gauge etc (without sash bar), edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded, fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass/gauge etc. The size of rails & style as specified in SSR Part-I (2009) section 8, clause 8.24 (b) and as per IS-1003(Part-I). Wood used shall be kiln seasoned as per IS-1141 and chemically pressure treated as per IS-401 complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- S & F Glass/gauge shall be measured and paid for separately)

S & F 30mm thick flush door shutter, solid core construction with block board core and plywood face panels, commercial type on both side complete and size of member of shutters as specified in SSR Part-I (2009) section 8 all complete all as directed.

S & F Solid PVC Door Frame of size 50mm x 47mm made out of 5mm thick plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with mild steel square tube, In opening complete all as per specifications and drawings as applicable to item 08095 given in SSR Part – II (2010).

M & L for TMT bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling existing aluminium frame work and Supply fabrication and fixing powder coated (Thickness of powder coating not less than 50 micron) anodized aluminium frame for doors, windows, ventilators with one or more rebates including jointing cleats for fixing etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling existing aluminium door shutters and Supply fabrication and fixing powder coated (Thickness of powder coating not less than 50 micron) aluminium door shutters, side hung type without sash bars, aluminium section weighing 0.55 Kg/RM including necessary jointing cleats, glazing clips, rubber neoprene packing, powder coated anodised aluminium snap beading, screws, powder coated aluminium fittings, such as handle (01 No for each leaf) etc complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Glazing/wire mesh shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of Schedule.

Dismantling existing aluminium windows/ventilator shutters and Supply fabrication and fixing powder coated (Thickness of powder coating not less than 50 micron) aluminium windows and ventilator shutters, side hung type without sash bars, aluminium section weighing 0.55 Kg/RM including necessary jointing cleats, glazing clips, rubber neoprene packing, powder coated anodised aluminium snap beading, screws, powder coated anodised aluminium fittings such as peg stays 150mm long (01 No. for each leaf), Butt hinges type B-21 100mm size (02 Nos for each leaf) & handle (01 No for each leaf) etc complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Glazing/wire mesh shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of Schedule.

Supply and fixing star lock powder coated for sliding aluminium windows and ventilator shuttersand fixed all as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for applying cement slurry over existing roof surface @ 3 Kg/Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 using 10/12.5 mm graded stone aggregates laid over roof slab after applying cement slurry for filling undulations finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all specified and directed.

M&L screed bed or bedding layer of mortar, 15 mm thick, in cement mortar 1:4, over RCC roof slabs for laying water proofing treatment mixed with using water proofing liquid @ 150 ml per bag of cement complete all as directed. (Note : Water proofing liquid shall be measured and paid separately)

Supply and fix APP polymeric water proofing membrane, minimum 3mm thick and weighing not less than 3.5 Kg/Sqm , black finish reinforced with non-woven polyester reinforcement matt, with a thermo fusable finish laid over compatible cold emulsion bituminous primer applied at the rate of 0.40 Kg/Sqm by torching with a propane or a butane gas torch, with a overlap of 75mm on longitudinal direction and 100mm on transverse direction including sealing all as per manufacturer’s instructions complete all as directed. Note: (i) Coved fillets in PCC(1:2:4) type B-0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate, of radius 75mm shall be provided at the junction of roof and parapet wall/mumty/chimney/other vertical surfaces and thereafter surface painted with hot paving bitumen of Grade 30/40 confirming to IS-73, [email protected] Kg/Sqm over a coat of bituminous primer confirming to IS-3384 applied @ 0.40 Kg/Sqm. (ii) Polymeric membrane shall be taken to a height of 45cm (minimum) and then inserted inside the groove of parapet wall of brick masonry and shall be finished by a membrane flushing. (iii) The waterproofing treatment shall be got carried out by the manufacturer or their authorized applicators. (iv) In case of stone masonry parapet wall etc a groove of size 25mmx25mm(minimuim) shall be made in coved fillet at the junction of roof and parapet wall/mumty Chimny/other vertical surfaces and polimeric membrane insterted in groove and sealed with paving bitumen (v) Exposed surfaces of APP membrane shall be applied with one coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 100 Gms/Sqm. (vi) Above aspects are deemed to be included in quoted rate.

S & F for pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based trapizoidal profile steel sheet 0.50mm thick (overall) of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and directed.

S & F for pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick (overall) of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as per manufacturers instructions completed all as specified and directed.

M & L for 0.63mm thick galvanised, corrugated mild steel sheeting with two corrugation side lap, fixed with L type or J type or cranked hook bolt and washer, in roof , walls etc of class VIII (Zinc coating 120 gm/sqm) complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs 12 mm thick Prelaminated particle, board, exterior grade, prelaminated one side with decorative choice laminations & other side balancing white lamination and alround covered with 6mm thick teak wood beading/lipping fixed with screwed to timber frame complete all as directed.

S & F anodised aluminium snap grid frame work for false ceiling complete all as per manufacturer's instruction & directed. Note :- (a) Size of main tee - 38x25x1.5mm. (b) Size of wall angle 25x25x1mm. (c) Size of grid 605x605mm.

S & F Hangers 6 mm dia. G.I. (upto 1200mm length) adjusting level fixed to roof slabs by means of ceilling cleats made out of G.I. flat 40 x 3 mm size 60mm long and expansion hold fasteners 12.5mm dia. 40mm long complete all as specified and directed.

S & F 10mm PVC insulation panels with EPS stuck to 1mm plain PVC sheet suitably placed in false ceiling grid made of Aluminium / G.I. / M.S. as per specification and drawing complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 50mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in paths, pavings and hardstanding top exposed surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for non skid ceramic tiles (coloured) 7 to 8mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm as in floors, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for chequered cement concrete tiles 20cm x 20cm x 25mm thick with grey cement and no pigment, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floor complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 50mm thick PCC 1:3:6 , type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in plinth protection laid in slope in 1:30 in alternative bays not exceeding 2 mtr in length. Exposed surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement including raking out joints between panel to panel and panel to wall and plugging the same with bitumen mastic using bitumen and sand mixture in 1:3 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces finished even and rough for receiving wall tiles/dado complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick masonry/ concrete surface, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for glazed ceramic tiles (coloured) 7 to 8mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm as on vertical surfaces such as skirting or dado set & jointed in neat cement slurry & pointed in coloured cement to match the shade of tiles complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing newly plastered surfaces and applying three coats of white wash on walls complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs vitreous China squatting pan (Orissa pattern) water closet (white) of size 580 mm x 440 mm with integral foot rests, 'P' or 'S' trap, including connection to trap, flushing pipe and antisyphonage pipe etc and including provision of PCC (1:5:10) type E-2 lean concrete in filling, making good to floor (excluding flushing cistern and flush pipe etc) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs, PVC low level cistern 10 litres capacity, valve less, symphonic action type with float, handle including 32mm dia PVC flush pipe of polyethylene of low or high density & bracket etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair grating doom 100 mm dia of PTMT (minimum weight 25 gms), complete all as specified and directed.

E/M ITEMS Taking down carefully copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete from existing conduits, from PVC Casing/capping with all fittings, such as switches, ceiling rose, pendants, sockets, lamp holder, fan regulators, sketch/brackets light fittings (except tube light fitting) etc and removal of old material from site (except switches, sockets and fittings to be reused) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors ceiling etc complete all as specified and directed to match with existing surfaces.

Taking down old unserviceable light fittings any type and removal from site and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, ceiling etc complete all as specified and directed to match with existing surfaces.

Taking down main switch/DB’s including MCB’s with board and fixture of any description and making good disturbed surface of walls etc complete all as directed.

Taking down the existing unserviceable submain/service connection wiring any size and any description including conduits all as directed.

Taking out old unserviceable LT UG cable of size 4 core 25 Sqmm laid in trenches, ducts/fixed on poles/walls/laid under roads/paths/drains/culverts or encased in GI pipe including removal of brick cable protection cover, GI tubing etc complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Excavation & earth work, shall be measured and paid for seprately under respective items of the BOQ )

M & L for taking down existing exhaust fan heavy duty from ceiling of roof approx height 15 mtr and depositing in MES store yard including necessary T&P for lowering the exhaust fan on ground complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting circular opening through wall (old masonry built in cement mortar) for exhaust fan openings (with or without reveals) or enlarging existing openings or cutting out defective masonry for under pinning including providing, fixing and removing, shoring, cleaning and removing rubbish off the premises etc and M & L for forming jambs, etc, to openings including cutting, toothings and properly bonding into old work, including facing and rendering 10mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:3 to match existing work and finishing the opening with white/colour wash/OBD to match existing finish, complete all as specified and directed
