Taking down old unserviceable GI/Copper earth plate from soft and hard soil from any location as directed by Engineer -in- charge.

M&L earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3 mm thick burried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 4 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 3.25 mtr below ground level connected to copper strip 20 x 3 mm as earth lead by brass nut bolts washer including brazing the copper strip with copper plate as shown in electrical plate No 3 connected to earth test point including necessary excavation in hard dense soil / disintergate rock, filling charcoal and salt around the plate in layers , filling the pit with low resistivity agriculture soil free from stones, to be bring from out side defence land and mixed with Bentonite , (3 bags of 25 Kg each ), construction of inspection pit ( earth pit chamber) of brick work of size 600 x 600 x 600 mm with PCC copping of 1 :2: 4 , 12.5 mm aggregate A1 with MS sheet 2.8 mm plate cover on frame of angle iron of size 40 x 40 x 5 mm with , wire mess, funnel, test point, 40 mm dia GI protection pipe light grade and 32 mm GI peforated pipe for watering etc complete and testing on completion. The electrode and lead shall be of copper all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge (Copper strip upto 7.5 RM will be included in the item rate and copper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured seperately (Note : (i) Contractor shall use low reistivity fresh agriculture soil , mixed with 3 x Bags of bentonite clay of 25 Kg each for refilling the pit to achive the desired resistance. (ii) copper strip will be laid below 60 cm from ground level and connected to test point through plinth protection (iii) Necessary cost of repair to plinth protection and connected plate and earth continuity conductor by providing 2 x brass nuts bolts and brazing of joints, bringing argiculture soil from out side defence land and cost of 3 x 25 Bags of bentonite deemed to be included in the item rate. (iv) Contractor has to clear the side and disposed off the excavated soil from pit on completion of work. (v) Contractor has to submit test report of earthing after completing the earthing. (vi) Bentonite clay should be Conf to IS 6186: 1986

Taking out old unserviceable GI/aluminium/copper earth strip or for relaying/ refixing the same existing strip by providing procline insulators of any size and type in any height and any location as directed by Engineer In charge.

Supply and fixing copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm as earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed on "V" type porcelain insulator, 4 BM, heavy duty ( ceramic bus bar support insulator off white colour of suitable for mounting strip of 20 mm wide x 3 min thick) saddle to wall, buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 20 x 3 mm copper strip brazing to each joints and connected with by providing brass nut bolts and washer all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. Note : Insulators to be provided on every 50 cm. (Minimum 2 x insulators to be provided in every 1 x metre of strip)

Supply and fixing copper strip of size 32 x 6 mm as earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed on "V" type porcelain insulator 10 BM heavy duty ( ceramic bus bar support insulator off white colour of min size of 36 mm width x 60 mm length with 36 mm width bus bar mounting base) saddle to wall, buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 20 x 3 mm copper strip brazing to each joints and connected with by providing brass nut bolts and washer all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.Note : Insulators to be provided on every 50 cm. (Minimum 2 x insulators to be provided in every 1 x metre of strip)

Supply and fixing copper strip of size 50 x 6 mm as earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed on "V" type porcelain insulators, 10 BM heavy duty ( ceramic bus bar support insulator off white colour of min size of (ceramic bus bar support insulator off white colour of min size of 50 mm width x 70 mm length with 50 mm width bus bar mounting base)) saddle to wall, buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for earthing etc. as required 50 x 6 mm copper strip brazing to each joints and connected with by providing brass nut boltsand washer all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. Note : Insulators to be provided on every 50 cm. (Minimum 2 x insulators to be provided in every 1 x metre of strip)

Supply and fixing aluminium strip of size 25 x 3 mm as earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed on "V" type porcelain insulators, 4 BM, heavy duty ( ceramic bus bar support insulator off white colour of suitable size for mounting strip of 20 mm wide x 3 min thick)) saddle to wall, buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required and connected with by providing brass nut bolts and washer all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. Note : Insulators to be provided on every 50 cm. (Minimum 2 x insulators to be provided in every 1 x metre of strip)

M & L for Refixing of existing serviceable copper / aluminium / GI strip taken out under item No. 3 above, on top of "V" type procelain insulator ( ceramic bus bar support insulator off white colour of suitable size for mounting of insulator) fixing strip on insulator with brass nuts and bolt ,screws, aluminium cleats etc.( Procelain insulator if replaced shall be measured separetly) duly straightened properly and fixing in neat dressed manner as directed by Engineer in charge. Note : - (i) Proclelain insulator to be measured and paid seperately under relevant item

M& L for porcelin insulater 10 BM heavy duty (ceramic bus bar support insulator off white colour of min size of 50 mm width x 70 mm length with 50 mm width bus bar mounting base for fixing strip of width above 32 mm to 50 mm fixing on wall for supporting the copper strip including suitable size brass nuts and bolts, washers, drilling hole on wall to fix porcelain insulator , fixing insulator by providing steel screws etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.( Note : Cost of brass nut bolt and washer and steel screw for fixing insulator is deemed to be included in unit rate of item).

M& L for porcelin insulater 4 BM heavy duty (ceramic bus bar support insulator off white colour of min size of 36 mm width x 60 mm length with 36 mm width bus bar mounting base for fixing strip of width up to 32 mm fixing on wall for supporting the copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm and up to 32 mm width including suitable size brass nuts and bolts, washers, drilling hole on wall to fix porcelain insulator , fixing insulator by providing steel screws etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. ( Note : Cost of brass nut bolt and washer and steel screw for fixing insulator is deemed to be included in unit rate of item).

M&L for carrying out brazing work of copper earth strip joints, after removing the nut bolt, scraping and cleaning the strip surface all as specified by Engr-in-charge. Note : Size of earth strip is 20 x 3 mm to 25 x 3.15 mm

S&F for thermoplastic(polycarbonate) junction box for test point without terminal block of dimension 130 x 180 x 77 mm IP 66 halogen free and weather proof including four hexagonal anticorrosive screws for out door installation including taking down unserviceable one. Make : Hensel- Cat part No. KF 0600 H or as equivalent in Sintex.

M&L in repair for Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75 x 75 x 25 mm drilled and screwed incl 3 Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screws for fixing strips to test point including necessary fixing arrangement to fix test point terminal block in junction box all as specified and directed. including taking down unserviceable one.

Supply & Fixing hexagonal head brass nut bolt and washer (Bolt size not less than 30 mm long from under side of head to end and not less than 6 mm dia) as specified and directed by Engr-in -charge.

Supply & Fixing hexagonal head brass nut bolt and washer (Bolt size not less than 50 mm long from under side of head to end and not less than 7 mm dia) as specified and directed by Engr-in -charge.

Taking down old broken and damaged earth pit chamber and M & L for construction of new earth pit chamber of brick work with plaster in outer and inner surface , copping of of PCC 1:2:4 Type A-1. Earth pit shall be of size 600 x 600 x 600 mm embedded in ground below GL 150 mm with openable cover made up of MS sheet of minimum 2.8 mm thickness fixed in angle iron frame and handle including GI funnel and wire mesh , including painting the complete pit with two coat of synthetic enamel paint as per colour code all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Colour to be painted on complete pit to be obtain from Eng in Charge.

M & L GI tubing medium grade 40mm bore for fixing the air termination rods on top of pipe with necessary clamping arrangement .The GI pipe should embedded in PCC bed blocks and tied with Stainless steel wire rope for free stand alone of pipe compete all as directed. Note:- PCC bed blocks shall be measured and paid saperately under relevant item of this schedule.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6), type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) for foundation for pole mass concrete etc including demolition of existing one complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4), type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) for foundation for pole mass concrete etc including demolition of existing one all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs PVC insulated, Single core flexible copper conductor cable, 1100 Volt, Conf to IS 694, ISI marked of size 70 Sqmm including fixing it on tower of 40 mtr height by providing GI strip clamp and also by using Heavy duty PVC tye from LA at top of tower to earthing pit on ground, and any other locations like on wall or laying on floor by providing saddles, including connecting terminals by providing copper lugs, brass nut and bolt with washer of suitable size as per site requirement to connect the cable including taking down u/s deterioted aluminium complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. S & F Brass Copper lightening arrester 9.2 mm diameter and 915 mm in length with 5 spikes and base plate 8.5 x 8.5 cm for building protection coverage of 45 degress from the top point 1.85 m all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M & L for fabrication of display board for earth pit nos, lacation and periodical test results for power circuit earthing, machinary earthing ,lightening conductor earthing, made of MS sheet 3.0 mm thick sheet, rectangular welding on angle iron of 25 x25 x4 mm of 600 mm height from ground level 30 cm including fixing in PCC 1:2:4 with 20 cm X 20 cm X 20 cm (below ground level) grade aggregate foundation to be carried out at different location technical area/domestic area . Dimention of board shall be 30 cm X 25 cm. or any other dimention not more than 0.075 sq mtr of MS Board The instruction shall be written black painted board in white letters not less than 2 " size for all type of boards complete all as specified and dierected by the Engineer -in-charge including taking down unsv one. Note : (a) All necessary MS sheet, aluminium screws and PCC works etc are deemed to the rate quoted by the contractor (b) The matter to be write on board should be collected from Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down old unserviceable chemical earthing/ pipe earth electrode from soft and hard soil from any location as directed by Engineer -in- charge.

M&L for Advance encapsulated compound based Marconite compound earthing maintenance free , with copper electrode of 88 mm dia (strip in pipe technology upgraded earthing system conforming IS 3043. The outer copper pipe shall be of 80 mm dia and inner copper strip shall be of 25 x 3 mm respectively of 3 mtrs long with terminal size 50 x 6 mm . The annular space between the pipe and strip to be filled up with Compact fill (CF) (Crystalline Conductive) mixture. The job includes excavation of pit in any type of hard dense soil/ disinterigated rocky strata of size 1000 mm x 1000 mm x 3050 mm depth and taking out all excavated soil, lowering and placing copper electrode in centre of pit and filling of back fill marconite compound having excellent moisture retaining capacity in sourrounding of electrode in 200 mm dia all around the electrode( Min 4 bags of 25 Kg each of Marconite back fill compound per pit per unit to be fill).The remaining portion of earth pit to be filled with agriculture soil / back cotton soil free from stones etc to be bring from out side defence land . The earth pit should be provided with a FRP earth pit cover for protection and safe guard of terminals. The material of earth electrode should have good electrical conductivity & anti corrosion property in wide range of soil conditions. The job also include M & L for in PCC(1:2:4) type B1 around the FRP cover for support and foundation and colouring the PCC work with desired colour.complete all as specified and directed.

(ii) Contractor have to submit literature of earth electrode and get the make approved of GE before procurement. (iii) The earth electrode shall be CPRI approved. (iv) Contarctor has to fill pure back fill compound all around the earth electrode in 200 mm bore up to full depth of bore. (v) Copper strip will be laid below 20 cm from ground level and connecting the test point through plinth protection using HDPE pipe for protection, necessary cost of repair to plinth protection and brazing and welding deemed to be included in the item. (vi) Contarctor shall submit the test report of earthing after completing the work of earthing. (vii) Contractor shall remove and disposed off the soil excavated from boring and clear the site before completion of work. (viii) Contractor has to submit the test certificate of electrode and back fill compound before claiming the payment.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. or for cable laying or not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

(iv) Geyser shall have min warranty for inner tank of 7 year and having comprehensive warranty of min 2 years for body and other electrical components and 4 year heating element warranty from certified date of completion by GE. Contract shall submit the manufacturer warranty card to the department. (v) If extra cable (PVC insulated sheated 2.5 Sqmm x 2 core copper conductor) required on site for extension of electric supply connection from Geyser to Metal Plug socket the same (upto 3 mtr) shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost. Supplying & fixing to walls and ceiling 15 mm nominal bore, medium grade, galvanised coated steel tube conforming to IS 1239 (Part-1): 2004 including all fittings conforming to IS 1239 (Part-2): 2011 complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Union to be provided on branch line for inlet cold water line on insertion /taking branch line after cutting existing pipe line.

Supplying & fixing to walls and ceiling 20 mm nominal bore, medium grade, galvanised coated steel tube conforming to IS 1239 (Part-1): 2004 including all fittings conforming to IS 1239 (Part-2): 2011 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cutting existing steel tubing for alterations or additions in position without taking down of pipe complete all as specified and directed (Note cutting of existing pipe to be done for insersation of geyser cold water inlet connection pipe.

M & L for screwing existing steel tubing or alterations or additions in position without taking down of pipe complete all as specified and directed
