M & L applying one coat of road marking paint of any tint Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters,etc. on roads, pavements and the like exc 10cm wide including preparation of old painted surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M & L applying 2.50 mm thick coat of road marking paint of any colour, Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters,etc. on roads, pavements and the like n.exc 10cm wide including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repairs to following types of joints on PCC pavements by racking out existing sealing compound, cleaning the joints throghly cleaned by compressed air and priming the sides with bituminous primer and sealing the joints by filling sealing compound grade 'B' (Jet fuel resistant ) as per IS-1834-1984 including removal complete all as specified and directed :-(a). Expansion joints (b) construction joint (15X25mm)

Ditto as per item ser No 03 here-in-above but Dummy joints (10X25mm)

Cutting/Scrapping grass, bush, weads or vegitation on the edge of runway/PTT/roads manually and removing material outside MOD land obtained from cutting and cleaning both side of runway, PTT, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: - (a) Grass shall be cut and fininshed 10mm to 25mm above the existing ground level. (b) All foreign material (Stone piece etc) obtained during cutting of grass shall be removed from out side MOD land. (c) Material obtained from cutting of grass shall be removed out side of MOD land.

Cutting of grass, bush, weeds / vegitation by using mechanical means like tractor with slasher assembley/bush cutter and cutting 50mm to 100mm or above slasher wherever required including colleting the grass through mechanical tools like cultivator and removing material obtained from cutting/ cleaning (Both side) upto 100M from the concrete edge. Size of slasher attached with tractor shall be 5 to 6 feet, blade high carbon, type rotary complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (a) Contractor will arrange his own mechanical slasher 02 Nos per day (Set of one tractor and hungle Jeem) with POL and MT driver and 02 Nos bush cutter daily for grass cutting operations (b) The qoted rate by contractor is incl of all T&P, POL and operator mentioned above. (c) On requirement contractor shall arrange more than one mechanical slasher and bush cutter per day as per order and T&P should not be more than 5 year vintage. Also T&P should be at par with Air Force requirement, if not the same can be modified to meet the requirment of the station and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position with concrete breaker/cutter machine all as required at site and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge/GE.

Removing, loading and unloading of debries of PQC / flexible pavement materials etc other than spoil to a distance exc. 250 m and not exc. 500m , depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point all as specified and directed by Engr In Charge.

Laying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) grading as per Grade I as specified Table 400-1 of MaRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, in a single layer over compacted subgrade with natura sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof as per the grading required The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and leveling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-1 00 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MaRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013.

M&L for Pavement quality concrete(PQC) 300mm thick of minimum 28 days field Flexural strength of 45Kg/ Sqcm or 4.5 Mpa, aggregate gradation as per Table 3 of IRC 15 2017, coarse aggregate of clean , hard strong, dense non-porous and durable pieces of crushed stone or gravel, fine aggregates of clean natural sand crushed stone sand or combination of both using minimum 360 kg/cum of cement with non-circular virgin synthetic fibre of 12-18 mm length, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable, alkali resistant, with equivalent dia 15-40 micron, minimum melting temperature as 240°C and minimum tensile strength of 300 Mpa and at the rate as specified by the manufacturer. PQC laid, spread and compacted with slip-form paver of minimum 7.50 m width , including curing and tining by Texturing cum Curing Machine complete all as specified and directed. Required surface texturing to be done as specified in Clause 10 1 14 and Table 9 of IRC : 15-2017.

Forming 25 mm width expansion joint in concrete slab for full depth of PQC. Early entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size. straight and smooth edges. Join cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. The joint then filled with pre-molded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified thereafter application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant Placing of closed cell medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30 mm dia, over filler board and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS- 5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of+/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacture complete as specified and directed.

M&L for Cutting of construction joints 25 mm deep and 10 mm wide by early entry saw cut using diamond bi cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 12 mm dia, application of bond breake tape on top of back up rod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealan complying with BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN- 141875- 2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +I- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee, applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete as specified and directed.

M&L for formwork to sides of concrete fondations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams, pavement sides and similar work, vertical or to batter for fair finishes surface of concerete.

M&L for repairs to broken/damaged portion of concrete slab or pavement by cutting damaged portion spoiled edges of slab to rectangular cross section and removing all loose and foreign materials, depositing same to a distance exceeding 150 m and not exeeding 250 m and cleaning the surface by compressed air to remove all loose dirt, dust and foreign material etc and filling epoxy resin primer including necessary form work required complete all as specified and directed and as per manufacturer's instructions.
