Designing (aesthetically), providing construcing and commissioning conventional Water treatment plant consisting of all Civil, Mechanical and Electrical works including cost of providing and applying epoxy paint to inside surface of water retaining structures in contact with chlorine and providing antitermite treatment to entire structure below ground level, mechanical and electrical components of various sub-works as given below, including necessary hydraulic testing, structural testing, equipment testing and trial run for a period of 3 months, etc., complete as directed by Engineer in charge (turn key job)

Clarifier- Horizontal flow circular tank, detention period 2-5 hours, overflow rate 30 cubic metre per square metre per day (to be specified), weir loading not more than 300 cubic metres per metre per day, with mechanical sludge scraper conforming to I.S. No 10313-1982, With necessary inlet arrangements

Rapid Sand Filter- Filter designed for filteration rate of 5000 litres per square metre per hour, minimum 2 beds for plant upto 10 MLD, for larger plants as specified, filters to be located in filter house with roof slab, pipe gallery and platform minimum 5.5 metre width with constant rate filtration or declining rate filtration.

Filter Sand- Effective Size 0.45 to 0.70 mm, uniformity coefficient not more than 1.7, nor less than 1.3, depth of water over sand 0.75M free board 50cm, gravel 0.45M in depth, sand and gravel conforming to I.S. 8491 (i)-77, back wash by air wash, standard appurtenances (to be specified), rate of flow controller, filter gauge, sand expansion gauge etc.,

Wash Water Tank- Capacity to be specified and suitable to supply water to wash specified number of filter beds at a time 12 minutes @ 600 lit/sqm/min. under a head of 12M at under drain

Wash Water pumps- Capcity to fill water tank in 1 hour with 100% standby

Air Blowers- Capcity of delivering 600 LMP per square metre of free air, of filter area at 0.4kg/sq.cm at the under drains (100% stand by) for period of 5 min.

Providing 40 mm thick precast R.C.C. M-150 with nominal mix of (1:2:4) jali with approved quality of stone chips of 6 mm nominal size and clean coarse sand of FM 2.5 to 3 with 1.6 mm thick M.S. wire as per approved design and drawing and placing the same in position true to plumb and level and properly grouted with cement mortar (1:3) including cost of curing, scaffolding and finishing all complete as per building specification and direction of E/I.

Providing and fixing fan hook of 16 mm dia M.S. bar 1 meter long bent to required size and shape, placed in position and fixing in R.C.C. slab/beam at the time of casting all complete as per building specification and direction of E/I. (where material is not supplied by Deptt.).
