To carry out soil investigation and collection of soil samples/ proportion to determine the safe bearing capacity complete with field and lab investigation to relevant specification of IS 2131, IS 6403, IS 1498 & IS 2720. Conduction Soil investigation for the following:-

(a) Drilling of 150 mm dia meter bore holes in all types of soils as per depth indicated below or refusal strata which ever is earlier as per instruction of the Engr-in-charge. Refusal defined as and when 'N' value is 100 or more for 30cm or part penetration. (b) Bore Holes (i) No of bore holes = 03Nos (Less than 4000 Sqm area of bldg) (ii) Depth of bore hole = 10.00 mtr (iii)To suggest SBC for isolated footing of 1.5x1.50, 2.0x2.0, 2.5x2.5 mtr at 1.5m, 2.0m, 2.5m depth & strip footing of 1.5 & 2.0 mtr (iv) Water Table (v) Expansive nature of soil with respect Plasticity index (vi) N Value at 2.5m, 3.0m,6.0m (vii) Bore log of soil strata upto 10.0 mtr depth. (c) Collection of disturbed and undisturbed soil sample at interval of 1.00 mtr or at change of strata or as per relevant IS Code. (d) Conduction lab test on disturbed soil sample as considered necessary according to relevent specification of IS 2720:- (i) Sieve analysis (ii) Atterberg limits (iii) Natural moisture content (iv) Partucle size analysis test (v) Bulk density (e) Conducting lab test on undisturbed soil sample as considered necessary according to relevant specification of IS 2720:- (i) Sieve analysis (ii) Atterberg limits (iii) Natural moisture content (iv) Particle size analysis test

(v) Bulk density (vi) Specific gravity (vii) Free swell index and swelling property of soil (viii) Organic matter in any soil, if any (ix) Consolidation test (Compressed index value) (x) Triaxial compression test and determination of shear parameters (C&O) test as per relevant IS. (xi) Harful salt (complete investigation as already ref). (f) Ground Water table:- (i) Maximum and minumum levels of Ground Water in the area with sources of information. (ii) Ground water Table during investigation.

Submission of Six copies of test reports with detailed description of field investigation, soil classification and general nature of soil strata, water table, interpretation of test results, grains size, distribution curves, compressive index curves, site plan etc, stress strain modules (by stress strain curves from triaxial tests), foundation analysis & recommendations with supporting calculations regarding foundation system depth of foundation.

The SBC of the soil is required to be given as per following table. Calculation of bearing capacity will be governd generally as per IS 8009 (Pt-I)- 1976, IS-2720 (Pt-II)-1980, IS 6403-1981, is 1904-1984 & is 1080-1985 and other relevant IS Codes:- With every site's Soil Investigation Report, a detailed site plan showing the approx location of each bore duly numbered as per log of bore hole should be enclosed. Location of foundation of adjacent structures, especially those that might be impacted by the proposed constuction. Every page of the soil Investigation report should have the Name of the Job for which Soil Investigation is being carried out. In case of multiple sites of a single Job are being investigated name of each site shall be put on each page of report pertaining to the site.

All pages of the Soil Investigation Report shall be serially numbered, stamped and signed by the Agency carrying out the soil investigation. Report should be scrutinised by GE and CWE for correctness and endorse. Mobilisation of tools and equipments, machineries, mainpowers vetc to site location and demobilisation from site after completion of work.
