Earth work excavation for foundation in all soils and sub-soils and to full depth as may be directed except in rock requiring blasting inclusive of shoring shuttering, bailing out water wherever necessary and depositing the surplus earth within the compound in places shown by the departmental officers with an initial lead of 10 mts and initial lift of 2 mts. and clearing and levelling the site, etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Supplying and filling in foundation and basement with filling M-Sand in layers of 150mm thickness well watered rammed and consolidated complying with relevant std specification including cost of supplying filling M-Sand.

Cement Concrete 1:5:10 (One Cement, Five sand and Ten hard broken stone jelly) using 40 mm gauge hard broken granite stone jelly for foundation including dewatering wherever necessary and laid in layers of not more than 15 cm thick well rammed, consolidated and curing etc. complete complying with standard specification

Supplying and erecting centering for sides and soffits including necessary supports and strutting upto 3.29 M height for plane surfaces as detailed below in all floors with all cross bracings using Mild Steel sheets of size 90 x 60 cm and 10 BG stiffened with welded Mild Steel angle of size 25mm x 25mm x 3 mm for boarding laid over silver oak joists of size 10cm x 6.50 cm spaced at abote 90 cm centre to centre and supported by casurina props of 10cm to 13 cm dia spaced at not more than 75 cm centre to centre etc. complete complying with the standard specificaiton. (Payment for centering shall be given after the concrete is laid)

a)For RCC works in foundation and basement such as pile cap, grid beam, plinth beam, raft beam, & slab, column base & footing, stair case steps etc.

Providing and laying in position, Standardised Concrete Mix M-20 Grade in accordance with IS:456-2000, using 20mm and down graded hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC items of works with minimum cement content of 325 kg/mᶾ and maximum water cement ratio of 0.55, including admixture (plasticiser / super plasticiser) in recommended proportions as per IS:9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability with about (5 cu.m.) 7730 kg. of 20mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (3.3 cu.m.) 5156 kg. of 10-12mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (4.79 cu.m.) 7670 kg. of sand, but excluding cost of reinforcement grill and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering and also including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrators, finishing, curing, etc. and providing fixtures like fan clamps in the RCC floor/ roof slabs wherever necessary without claiming extra, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. The coarse and fine aggregates to be used should comply with the requirements of IS Standards. (No separate payment will be made by the Department for the excess usage of materials).

Foundation and Basement

Supplying, fabricating and placing in position Mild steel or Ribbed tor steel in all size for all RCC works as per the design given including cost of steel and binding wire in all floors etc., complete complying with standard specifications. (The contratctor will have to make his own arrangements for the supply of MS plain rod / RTS rod and binding wire)

Brick masonary LM1:2 using Stock bricks including all varivargams, mould sthambams mokopathrams, koodu, Nasi and all ornamental brick work complete, all pancharams Agarais, Karanakoodu, etc., forming core walls of Rajagopuram / Vimanam complete including cost and conveyance of all materials including cement, all the labour charges including marking pathies shaping of the bricks, lifting of all the materials to required heights, curing and all extra for working in heights etc., complete 100 cft for Kalkaram .

Plastering with Lime mortar 1:1.5,12mm thick (One Lime and One and off Sand) including cost and conveyance of all materials and all labour charges,curing etc,complete complying with standard specifications.The lime used should be of highly iron fortified and suitable for structural and masonry works..

Supply of cut stone for carrying out Pillars, Pavukkal , Uthiram and all hire charges for all tools and plants and clearing the site after completeion of work etc., as per instruction of departmental officers etc.,complete

Providing Vargapoochu over the corewalls of Vimanams / Gopurams, with Lime Mortor1:1:5 complete including shaping the mukhapathram, mahanasi, Koodu all ornamentals works to proper shape by embedding broken bricks of shaped/chiseled bricks, rough-plastering with Lime Mortor1:1:5 and finishing with final ornamental plastering and nayam theervani including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour therefore, lifting of materials, all working in heights, curing with water etc, complete including all extra for folding and including clearing from the vimanams/gopurams 100sft superficial area. for kalkaram.

Weathering course in brick jelly lime concrete using broken brick jelly of size 20mm uniform gauge in pure slaked lime (no crushed stone sand to be used) to the proportion of brick jelly to lime being 32:12.5 by volume and laid over the RCC roof slab in a single layer of required slope and finished by beating the concrete with wooden beaters of approved pattern, keeping the surface constantly wet by sprinkling lime jaggery water, etc., complete as per standard specification and as directed by the deparmental officers.

Finishing the top of roof with one course of machine pressed tiles 20cmx 20cmx20mm of approved quality laid in ;LM 1:3,(One Lime and Three Sand) 12mm thick mixed with water proofing compound of conforming to ISS 2% by weight of cement used and the joints pointed neatly to full depth of tiles with the same lime mortar mixed with red oxide and water proofing compound including curing etc.,complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers etc,

Flooring with cut stone slab of size 600mmX600mm and other sizes suitable for site requirement not less than 100mm thick with machine cut edges and top surface dressed as directed by the departmental officers including cost and conveyance of materials to site and lobour charges for paving and Pointing With Lime Mortor1:1:5 (One Lime and One and a half Sand) etc complete.

Supplying & Fixing Teak wood Double leaf temple type door including all materials labour charges for Manufacturing and fixing in positition including all furniture fittings etc.complete with standard specification

Painting new wood work with two finishing coats of synthetic enamel ready mixed paint of approved quality and colour over one coat priming coat in all floors including the cost of primer etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The make, quality and colour of paint should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works.)

Painting two coat with approved water based Exterior Emulsion over the cement plastered wall surface, ceiling and other new surface including clearing preparing the surface curing in all floors including brushes etc., complete as per specification. -10 m 2 ( S.I. No 358 )

Brick work in lime Mortor 1:2 using country brick of size 83/4"x41/4"x23/4" including cost and conveyance of all materials and labour charges and all other incidental charges etc complete etc complying with standard specification.
